I don't think after you sell your data there would be an option for it. But before selling it is quite possible to do so.

Yes, whitepaper states that "the creator can choose to share, monetize or destroy this data". It also says that data is stored as long as s.o. pays for storage. As I understand, data will otherwise be deleted. By storage nodes? After what time?

Oh , i redownloaded the whitepaper and it becomes October 29th now.
If you still have the old whitepaper you can see that it was October 17th before.
My whitepaper was the old one, so the correct date is October 29th.

I believe their website is more accurate and 29th october is the start date.

Delete data from where? If you decide to sell it, you obviously can't delete sold information afterwards, and since facebook / twitter holds it anyway, you can't delete it from their servers either. Well technically you can delete your account but they still will keep your information.

Ok, after i read a lil but bit i know Datum is for your data, and the important difference is that Datum pays you for your own data.
The extent of Datum is not limited to just advertising data but expands to all sorts of data like health, finance and many more

It's your data. You own it, so i don't see a reason why you can't delete it at will. you will just stop earning with that data.

Yes dat has a very good campaign, I think they advertise very well. Referral system is always a good way to get visibility, and its work pretty great for datum. And the target market is huge, an enormous growth potential for datum !

Obviously you can't delete info on other servers but that doesn't mean you can't delete the info on your own machine. It's just like it is right now, you could post a pic and delete it, but  it might be on other servers and you can't do anything about that.

I think what people mean is that personal data won't be stored on a cryptocurrency blockchain that is not designed for blocks containing large amounts of data. BigchainDB is a blockchain based database, what it exactly entails I do not know. I am not even sure it is actually on a blockchain or just shares some characteristics.

Rather than trying to scale up blockchain technology, BigchainDB starts with a big data distributed database and then adds blockchain characteristics - decentralized control, immutability and the transfer of digital assets.
