Speaking of the fact that in this world nothing is impossible.
If so, the world government will find a new currency and not rule out bitcoin as its successor. But i do not think that's possible, because fiat is stronger than crypto currency.
fiat is controlled by the government in a country, has a fixed value and quality and the position of its value is assured.
 

Anything backed by the government would remain still and strong.Crash could possibly happen but not today or even tomorrow and same as you said they wont really let this thing to happen.I cant see that cryptocurrency would play a big role on future years when it comes on financial state on every country.It may progress but only into its particular field which they wont really collide with local fiat.

There is truly no way to test that fiat has crashed and its because it the support it gets from the arm of government saddled with such responsibility which is the Central Bank but at the same time, looking it intuitively by doing some historical analysis what was needed to buy a car say 10 years ago in an amount of dollars, to get that same car, one would probably need more amount and that to me is dollar crashing but because its government and its antiques, they interpret it as inflation and even to ahead to explain to us that such time of inflation is good for the country.

In other words, fiat has been crashing, what is left is for people to see in that light.

The only way fiat currency would crash would be if there was a global pandemic.
Its too hard to crash since vendors and merchants and everyone accept fiat currency.
Every dollar is backed by goods and only with the destruction of government order does it crumble

It will take a long time for that to happen and believe me it may take 20 to 100 years to come as fiat has gotten into our system and we are a custom to it. Many people especially those from third world countries do not have access to Internet and bitcoin is the money of the Internet therefore most of them will see bitcoin as something strange and they will definitely not going to use it. However time is going to come when we will all begin to see the advantages of this blockchain technology and really know that is far better than fiat and governments will see reason why they are going to adopt it as money.

Nothing is impossible but this wont be happening anytime soon because the central bank is there to prevent this kind of a catastrophe, but we have had one or two countries that are experiencing this kind of a crash as a result of bad governance from the politicians which is avoidable. Anyway, is just an speculation but there  is nothing to believe because it is not even shown that it would take over fiat. As we observed bitcoin price nowadays are continuously increasing but it is enough or the signs that bitcoin will crashed fiat money. It a long process to make it  but I don't think that it will happen.

Your scenario with FIAT crash is impossible, of course FIAT currency could dump but only if we will have next world wide financial crisis.
But who knows maybe in next 100 years fiat will be replaced crypto? Or crypto will be replaced by something, we will see.

I don't know they mean USDT digital fiat money or paper money printed by the governments. If they mean USDT, it's likely to crash in a law event between the tether company and US courts.

If it's paper money printed by the governments, it doesn't crash and an economic crysis exists instead.

I really don't believe that kind of speculation. Even though bitcoin will be on top and its price are unstoppable but still fiat is on the heart of the people and their is no chances it will happen. Price stability of bitcoin is a big problem and also not all individuals are knowledgeable on this kind of technology.

It is very impossible fiat will crashed or will be obsolete just because of bitcoin. If you weight the bitcoins users again fiat users i could say there is very big difference in favor of fiat user. But I do not think that we can consider I as crash, In some cases like in war like situation the fait currency of a country no doubt drops its value but I do not think that it should be consider it as crash, because the downfall is very slow and take a lot of time as compare to the digital currency where the currency lose its value in minutes and come to the bottom.

I think it's quite impossible at this time for paper money to crashed and digital currency will replace because the price of bitcoin is not yet stable and even if  it will have a stable value I don't think the supply of bitcoin is enough for the demand knowing that it is considered to be a global currency.
