I don't think this is purely a bonus cut, maybe this is related to the calculation period so your last wager not included in this period and will be effective on the next bonus IMO. I say this because other users have not experienced the same thing this means its impossible for Stake to use a different formula for each user.

Still, $2 is quite low if we compare it with your last post monthly and monthly bonus. That's a sudden decrease in the bonus amount.

Yup normally the lowest bonus I have ever claimed is around $10 on pre/post monthly but I will wait for the next bonus to compare whether there is an increase or its the same, we know it's no secret that the bonus formula always been a mystery. My average monthly bonus is $20-25 but last month it was $70 well this is a confusing example.

Yeah only I collected 2 tickets last April because most of my wager on sports, my last monthly bonus $70 and post-monthly around $14 then pre-monthly $2 honestly the last one was beyond my expectations, ~snip~

Amount gamblers/users on stake receive as either monthly or post monthly bonus is dependent on some factors, and some of such factors are..
- The overall activity on the casino in that period or time
- The total win and losses in the course of that period and time.

The first point I believe is easy and simple to understand, while the second point I made, has to do with how much profit or loss the user made from the casino, that is, if one won most of their games and are in profit, there is a chance your bonus in that period will be less than expected, but if you lose your games and mostly in loss, the bonus is often a bit higher...

This is just my personal understanding of how things work most of the time, I may likely be wrong and I stand to be corrected if I am.

Stake engine is such a visionary step by stake.com. It is a great opportunity to earn a lifetime of revenue from the game you developed. 
I think the early access is limited because they want to ensure the quality first. I mean, it would be hard to process tens of thousands of games that are totally worthless, it can easily lead to negative publicity as well. It is way better to work with quality guys and support them. I am confident that stake.com will eventually roll it out to a wider audience.

It would be kind of funny and cynical if suddenly the tariff war unlleashed by the Trump administration  started to have unforseen consequences within sectors which were not supposed to target to begin with, like the gambling ecosystem. 
It reminds me a meme about a guy who just wanted to stop politics getting into his life and tried to ignore it all, but in the end, politics affected his life badly. Sadly, that is how it works.

Though, even if there is a minimal chance the Trump administration will cause some negative impact on the gambling ecosystem, we should not notice any of it unless Trump also started to target, not only companies offering goods, but also services, gambling is a service in the end.

The lack of detailed computation on the bonus makes players confused on the expected bonus. I personally experienced that I’m expecting big bonus but I received lower amount and vice versa.

I just ignored it and move on to just play to avoid distractions. I received what was available then focus on my game.

But it’s much better if the bonus system will be transparent like we can see immediately the bonus amount then plus/minus depending on our bet results and other factor.
