It is probably for the sake of surprise and not accustom their gamblers to receive what they expect according to their accumulated wager, though. Let us recall that gambling relies much on randomness and on the fact gamblers are never able to predict what is going to happen next to their money, I believe it has something to do with that, the fact Stake does not have such a transparent system or have not disclosed their algorithm to calculate their bonuses. True that. Engagement is king. The more often stakes gets mentioned or whatever the better for them. Sure, mayy players are often enough unsatisfied with some bonus related stuff, me included as many here know. Yet in my opinion stake is still the best option bonus wise. Nowhere else have I ever gotten so much in return for the gameplay.

Let's look at the bigger (or at the moment popular) sites in this forum and look at weekly/monthly:

BC: 10k in a week gives you 6$ weekly (at best) and around 4$ monthly -> jokingly low, even for high VIP
Betfury: don't know exact numbers but it's comparable with BC, I got 10k in a week once and got below 10$ weekly and much less monthly
Betpanda: no weekly or monthly
sp.io: also no weekly or monthly

Rollbit and others I never used, cause I don't trust them.

Totally agree on this. The discussion on thread alone even without signature campaign is more on bonus speculation since every bonus here has a mysterious calculation.

Depends on your activity. If you are active they will send you bonus emails here and their with free money, mostly like 10-15$. If you are inactive for some months they will send you offer like deposit 100, wager 600 and get 20$, that's what my wife's account got recently, twice actually. But we didn't use that offer and let the account be inactive cause the longer you wait the better the next offer might be.

Anyway, I saw people speculating on reddit about a pre monthly this coming week. I mean there is a chance, right?

Not that true because sooner or later the bonus will turn to zero if you keep on being inactive without wager, no casino will give weekly/monthly bonus if the players are inactive for too long time.
That's the fact and many people already shared their experience here on stake's forum about their weekly/monthly bonus turned to few cents without wager although they are high VIP level.
Based on my own experiences for almost 8 years in Stake, their bonuses were better in the first few years but they have adjusted it and make it less than before.

If you make the account inactive more longger and got better offer with high amount. We can take conclusion those offer mostly came out due the inactive account, these just my own speculation. I just get information new amount is coming out which is 400$ bonus for the waggering.

I think somehow, stake already in the position reaching the limits of new member. I mean, the new member register to stake already not meet the target or decrease and they decide to somehow take some way. To keep the business rolling, waggering and deposit they decide to test or chasing their current customer targeting account are inactive and hope they bring the money for gambling due inactive.

Nice win mate! For a moment, I saw $11 bet and that gigantic multiplier but then I saw the repay and realized you bet with ARS haha which I also do sometimes when the balance is low and the urge to bet is high .

I have been constantly entering the forum giveaway since 2 years and more but never got a single win yet, now is more difficult because there are hundreds if not thousands of pages to pick from. There is always a chance especially we received it last month and first week of the month is always the right time for pre monthly bonus. I am not expecting something good though since I did not wager much since 2 weeks ago. IMO stake focuses more on wagering patterns rather than the total wager of any player. Play more slots (or any other high-house-edge games) and receive more bonuses.

Exactly, there is no guarantee that we will be offered a nice bonus once we become inactive for long time, as I have said some time ago, if it works like this then most players will start to be inactive to get nice offer and these players may repeat it again later once they make profit from the nice bonus.
If it is really work like this, it wont be an effective marketing strategy for Stake as they will be just like sending free money for inactive players.
Although there are some stories that support this speculation, it does not mean that it will happen to all inactive players because I believe Stake are not dumb LOL and there must be some other criteria in order to get the nice offer (not only being inactive).
Just like the other bonuses in Stake, no one knows the formula, no one knows when bonuses will be sent because all are based on speculation/prediction.
However Stake are not focused on wagering patterns only, our PnL statistic affect the bonus as well unlike years ago when the main factors were wager and vip level.

You are right, casinos won't just give every account that goes inactive for some time a bonus to get them to be active again, if such be the case, alot of gamblers will purposely leave their account to enter inactive status just to gain free money from the casino from time to time, or some gamblers who would still want to be gambling even while chasing for this bonus will be driven into creating multiple accounts and using fake documents to get the account verified, and he or she will use the alt account to farm the inactive bonus while he gambles everyday from his main account.

My account on betfury and two other casinos have been inactive for over a year now, ive never recieved any email from any of this casino calling my attention to any prepared bonus to get me to be active with my account again lol.

I haven't visited Betfury for a long time, but a few days ago I got an email to claim a bonus code given in the Champions League and Tennis events. I also got the same email from other casinos.
