No way I'm going to even understand why this dark marketplace for stake accounts is that big, nor why would anyone who has been wagering hundreds of thousands would sell his account for that cheap or who would pay hundreds to get a few tens of $ each month in bonuses.

I don't know the rules for new accounts because I see your account was created last april, for old accounts you can withdraw balance even without KYC. Got my weekly, which was around $10, and a $10 bonus via email. My wagering for the week was around $2k with a $40 net loss. It should not take that long of time for KYC especially level 2 which is the basic requirement to deposit and withdraw.
Even when there was an offer from Stake to their players to undergo KYC with a nice reward, most of them got verified quickly (not even days IMO).

We can't compare last year's procedure with now, because we know last year they received thousands or even hundreds of thousands of KYC requests so quick action is needed to avoid queues well, because this period has passed for now there may be extra checks IMO. Another reason could be that the document does not meet standards blurred or has been used by another user. Which makes me wonder as far as I know for withdrawals KYC is not required, they mentioned it in the email regarding KYC (your account is in withdrawal mode only)

Mine was a complete one week duration and got confirmed during the weekend, but this comes along with me first providing with unacceptable documents at the first instance, but later have to ask on the acceptable formats such as:

Even if they improved the procedure or ecen if they need extra checks, I dont think a player should wait for weeks just for KYC verification because I believe Stake is professional and they can do it faster. If the document submitted by player is not clear or not meeting the standard one, Stake would have asked the player to resubmit the document with a better image instead of forcing themselves to verify it and at the same time it forces player to wait longer. KYC is required for withdrawal, as far as I remember they implemented it since last year especially for new accounts.
