I think stake is experiencing unexpected growth and that's mainly since they aggressively promoted in the Indian market. I remember previously 13-15k users were online at a time but now there are over 100k users online almost all the time. Because of such growth the live support response time has also gone up significantly. I noticed they also stopped the email support totally.

So it makes sense they are now making VIP requirements harder to get a host because each host is already overwhelmed. I believe on some stream Eddie said they have over 100 hosts now which is quite insane!

The requirement to keep the VIP host started to be implemented sing long time ago IIRC, so it is not new thing.
As AHOY said, he has just lost the VIP host and there is only 1 reason which is about the wagered amount during the past 90 days and to get it back he needs to wager $50k in 30days.
Once he gets it back, he need to wager at least 50k within 90 days so he will not lose the VIP host again.

I don't think the crow user can be used as the reason. At the time we got those VIP host, there is no information at all we can losing the host. I mean, If they want to add new rules... they should add only to the new user at the time user register after those rules. Not the old ones getting effected too, because we old user might be get lucky or waggering bigs in the future but due losing the host we not get additional bonus from the host.

Example like me, I got VIP host before the change and now don't have any host. But these month can waggering over 450K$... If my account still got the host, I can get a huge reload + potential addiotnal host from my VIP.


I'm fine with those rules, but they should make it to the new user at the time those rules being implemented. Not the old ones get effected.

Very good explanation of the current situation at hand on stake, and you are absolutely right, I visit the Stake casino often and indeed confirm that there have been times when I visit the casino and see that they have over 100k users playing on the slot casino while another 70k to 80k people are online in the sports betting section of the casino, this is a total of 170k to 180k users online in one day, Maybe there have been a better record than this before but this is the highest I've personally seen.

Who came up with that number of 100 hosts? I think that's highly unlikely. Every host has around 350-400 VIPs in their group. If you say there are 100 hosts this means minimum of 35000 people are platinum 4 or higher and wager enough to currently have a host. Nah, that's not happening. Stake is big but not THAT big yet.
If this would be remotely true the stream would have even more tickets in the raffle.

Quite outstanding, actually I visited Stake last night because I wanted to see how odds were behaving for the match between Venezuela and Bolivia and I noticed there were a significantly low number of players compared to what you are showing in that picture, I think I saw about 13k gamblers playing casinos games.

It makes me think gamblers in general have a preferred time and day to gamble or bet on their favorite sports, which also makes sense of we consider there countries where there is a higher percentage of the population that engage in gambling then others. I have always had the impression those challenges held by casinos, specially races are targeted towards the most dedicated of their gambling base, gamblers who have considerable amount of bankroll and those events or races are nor actually for casual gamblers who just have a limited gambling budget and desire to keep within the limits of what they can afford to lose in a monthly or weekly basis.

Did you watch the stream? It was funny that FINALLY it was confirmed what most people suspected, if you don't change the seed for the roll of the drop variables you will always get the same results (% wise), doesn't matter if you change the numbers of claims, wager or amount. I mean it was so obvious several times in the past but still Steve and even Eddie always denied it. I hope they finally learned from that and always change the seed, especially when the previous drop was like a 3 or something. Visitors will increase on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) but on normal days there are an average of 50k-90k online users, besides we don't know if they count 1 user who opens 2 pages (Casino and Sports) but yeah still fantastic visitor. From so many users can we assume how many total users with Platinum IV? this is the requirement to have a VIP Host, in the chat room less than 100 Platinum IV are active every day but yeah I know many of them not use chat rooms/silent player so don't think VIP host handles more than 10k users.

That would be crazy if the requirement to get a VIP host is changed to be at least Diamond level ($25M wager required), lets say the number of Plat IV is increased significantly every year, increase it to Plat V is already enough IMO as it is already doubled amount.
By the way, I think the best thing to do is not to increase the level requirement but Stake should hire more VIP host if the number of players who are eligible for VIP host is increased every year.

Nah, they won't do such a drastic jump. Diamond is way too high for the moment. Platinum 4 only has a 2.5 wager requirement, raising it to diamond would mean a 10x wager requirement increase.
What's more likely is a raise to platinum 6. I don't know what the last increase was many years ago, maybe it went from platinum 3 to 4, which was not that high of a jump, just 1.5 million or so. Before it was at plat 1 and 2, then 3 and 4. Maybe they will skip 5 this time.
Taking it away from all platinum accounts (once they miss to have the wager) would upset MANY players. Nowadays you see more platinum players than any other level. The reload is a huge incentive for many and it stands out compared to many other sites. You don't want to push away your most loyal source of funding.

I agree with the other users above, Diamond level will be quite high requirement for a VIP host. They may apply a certain amount of wager requirement to every user who has a VIP host, the  wagering will be needed to continue with the host on the next month. Stake has already hired a good number of hosts, and there are also a good number of Platinum IV+ users who doesn't wager anything significant for a long time. They can reduce the load from the host by applying wagering requirements every month.
