A primedice user told me this online and I was wondering if it was true or not.

Is it true making bigger bets is better than lots of smaller bets? Because if you make a big bet it's either a win or lose, but can have a losing streak in which you lose all your money. Which one is better? or are they the same?

It all depends on you. The risk is still the same.. By doing larger bets obviously your stake is much bigger and a small number of losses will cost you your bank. On the other hand doing a lot of small bets you risk a big losing streak which can again cost you your bank. So it's just a matter of preference or how you want to win (or lose).

Obviously they've received advice from professionals and have made an educated decision.

None the less sad to see. Shame online gambling is so regulated in the US.

Very likely related to the news of 2 days ago about the charges on Micon. And Nevada AG who says “Industry must be licensed and controlled”.

Unfortunate, but those in the "land of the free" aren't very free.

Stunna has an advantage over Micon as his identity is not known...

Dread Pirate Roberts also thought his identity was not known....... Just because his identity is not known doesn't mean it can't be found especially if the us puts some serious resources on it. Can't blame Stunna for not wanting to find out!

But Stunna is not operating from within US. I am sure they won't waste resources to find out the identity of someone living in another country like Stunna.

Yes they will if it concerns / caters to us citizens. Before they found DPR's identity he might as well have been someone living in say Poland or Brazil. Pokerstars for instance also got indicted for serving online poker to americans even though they are based in the isle of Man (great britain). Doesn't matter where you're from as long as you are serving american citizens with a service they deem to be illegal then they will investigate.

Primedice might very well be too small at the moment to put too many resources on it but would you want to take that risk? There is a reason why Satoshidice stopped serving the us already in may 2013 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SatoshiDice)....

Of course they're also not comparable in that Micon was the "spokesman" and "pokerpro" for sealswithclubs but wasn't an owner/operator.  On the other hand, I think Stunna is the owner/operator of primedice.

Anyway, thanks MICRO for the clarification about using tor/vpn.

my questions are still not answered  Huh Huh Huh Huh

would love to know what professional said gambling btc is illegal or will be illegal in the us

first of the the us government does not recognize btc as a currency so until this is done(mine 5-10 years to get shit inorder and pursue people)

then they will look at rule breakers

i get that its a preventative measure but limiting us from deposing is just stupid btc isn't even a currency(its monopoly money)

wikipedia agrees with me and i trust there legal staff over primedice's

We can call it boneheaded but everyone certainly has the right to try to look out for themself and their own safety.  Certainly it'll be a little annoying to have to use tor when in USA but in the end, there's a solution available so I'm not mad Smiley

It's a trust issue. They violated my trust by doing that. Via tor, vpn, carrier pigeon or whatever I no longer trust that PD will not abscond with my coin.

edit: to be clear, until this my trust in them was total. This is a gross violation.

It is a nice site Smiley

Given PD's position in the dice-gambling market I'm really surprised you've never signed up.  Even if you don't deposit you can pop in and have some fun in the chat (or use the faucet to roll for nano-stakes).
