What is the actual limit of this, the VIP room? I wouldn't mind feeling important and chatting in there
It should be 5+ btc wagered atm. But i don't have that , and im in, idk if it has something to do with my mod status. But that will change probably , depending on feedback. I have 4.5 BTC wagered and I can see the chatroom. |

10 BTC is high enough to keep out beggars and still reasonable if you want more then 3 ppl in the chat.
100btc will be very unactive I think

Chat will no longer provide experience, any prior messages will be rolled back as well in terms of experience. Spammers have flooded the website attempting to game the level system and this in effect has been effecting sockets/rest of the chats (VIP/Main) not just PVP.  Example of bot: grabs a ton of random previous messages and just spams them out. |

Dude, I understand the rollbacks, but can you decide on one thing and stick to it?
It's like every week or two we have less and less benefits. I understand it's free BTC, but it really isn't cool that you slowly keep taking them from us.

I agree that it would be easier just to let a mute bot do the work. At a point that was the case but it seems that the functionality was removed? |

When the chat was being flooded even normal mutes were not working at that time as sockets were being flooded as well. We're adding rate limiting/automutes back in. |

like 60 sec before next chat so it will avoid the spammer...please..

Upon implementation of those features, would it be reasonable to expect chat messages to once again provide experience (as rate limiting/automutes would render the current measure redundant in spammer deterrence)? There's been some general discontent over this handling of the spammer situation, though it's hard to tell if that's just a vocal minority. |
