You get a pop up telling you you need to wager 0.001 btc in order to be able to chat.  I guess if the newbie doesnt want to deposit and cant find the faucet it could be a small barrier.

Yeah, im actually not a fan of that requirement .
But it did stop spam bots rly well. Most of them won't bother to deposit so they give up.

But i guess it could be frustrating for rly new people to dice, so they can't ask questions about how to play/deposit and so on on chat. That's why i don't rly like it.

It would be maybe good idea that mods can turn that on and off , so when we are on chat we turn that off and everybody can chat, and when we leave chat we turn it on so chat is somewhat protected.

What about introducing practice money so that new players can get a grasp of the site? It'd also be fun to play with when we go broke, until the faucet is up.

To some degree, it appears they've already commenced the process of doing so. After slashing its effectiveness by removing chat EXP from its value, only time will tell whether they'll fully remove it.

stunna, can we have the option to disable pm's on our profiles. i am not even a high roller and i get pm'd at least 10 times a day by ppl asking for tips.. i cant even imagine what the guys on high roller section get. its putting people off from coming in chat.

Yeah option to turn them off would be useful .
There are no pm notifications in vip chatroom thou, so if u are there u won't see pm's .

But yeah for now, if its not to much of a hassle , best thing to do is send ss of that activity to some of mods and it will be sorted out.

Actually  I thought that was more of a compromise  as to not take it away from the people that actually invested in the faucet.
