It will tell you everything you want to know about any GPUs in your machine, and then some... You don't need to install it, you can tell it to 'just run, don't install", if you'd prefer not to. Edit: the cards not having fans makes me wonder if they will be new enough to be able to run OpenCL and are capable of mining though

I have cgminer getting block data from 3 large pools. This ensures I'm not working on old blocks which is a problem with a coin that moves this fast. Can you confirm how you do this? Is it just a matter of having the additional pools in the config with -o, or is there more to it than that? Thanks. I am also heavily interested in this. If cgminer can get the block data from 3 large pools, would it be possible to sumbit work to get shares from all of the pools as well? Sure. You do it with the --failover-only flag. This is how I do it. cgminer --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:7998 -u user -p pass --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://54.227.253.120:9500 -u username -p pass -o stratum+tcp://pool.digicoinpool.com:3344 -u username -p pass -o stratum+tcp://next.afraid.org:8119 -u username -p pass The above code is just a snippet. I removed all my temp, queue and fan stuff. Make sure you use pools from around the world. I'm using 3 pools but you can use more. I think the more the better. You always want to be working on the latest block.

You can mine to multiple pools with cgminer. Read the multipool section in the readme. It's the balance, rotate and loadbalance flags. It's pretty cool. Your payout will be lower but you'll be getting a ton more payments.
