All I know that blockchain is unhackable but not bitcoin. I've read many stories on how people lost their bitcoin by getting hacked using phishing on their online wallets and there's also reports that the old versions of electrum are prone to hack so it's not really secure.
be careful always and not be confident always check the link that you are clicking on cause there is a lot of site that can hack everything for , so think before you click this is the way on how we can protect our account.

Agreed but one way node and unique hash for each transaction make bitocoin protected to the core.Bitcoin is basically the result of blockchain technology which shares its profit for the service it offered in the form of btc which is having 10k plus valuation in the market right now. So Basically investments are done block chain which is a service and to feel the security system of blockchain lets read the next phase.
there was a news of mastercard accepting btc which ensures that blockchain technology is more secure then the framwork used by mastercard.  And btc been doing great..as far as i knw all the scam was done by the third party exchange houses. Block chains have never been hacked as far as i know. How much more sercure you want. If you understand how block chain works then you can make a conclusion about the security of btc blockchain.

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

Yeah, bitcoin is wil assure that your money will not be stolen by anyone. You have an assurance of security of your account because it is more secure than any other financial services. But you should be careful because theif can find ways 😁

Probably yes Bitcoin is secure. Generation today is different, hackers are smart with the different techniques which they can easily use to ruin bitcoin's security in general just like in other Banks or agencies of currency that had been hacked for the past years which they found out based on their investigation that had not been controlled by media knowledgeable hackers did the thing. So now, we might say that Bitcoin is secure but for sure there are groups now who are quietly planning to harm bitcoin and by that people behind Bitcoin has also contingency plan on how to really secure it.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Based on what I’ve read in an article and to the opinion of some financial analysts and experts, Bitcoin is a digital currency and as far as I know, bitcoin is anonymous. The bitcoin you have in your wallet can be hacked that’s why you should be more careful in storing your primarykey/password in a safe place. If the government forbids bitcoin then probably it cannot only be used for transactions and cannot be accepted as payment in your country only which means that the bitcoin you have in your wallet can still be used in some countries.

Bitcoin's dramatic rise in value in 2017 captured the media's attention, but the currency isn't always safe from hackers, or even a failed hard drive. Consumer Reports looks at whether bitcoin is safe.

Yes, it is safe just keep your private information about your bitcoin account. Using bitcoin is more secure than to our traditional money.
Our traditional money can be stole easily by the goons. They can snatch it in very easy way. Unlike bitcoin, they can stole it easily.

yes, Bitcoin is secure. All in all, bitcoin is more safe and secure than most existing financial services, including legacy banking platforms like SWIFT, which has been compromised repeatedly by hackers. Regular backups of a bitcoin wallet are essential to protect against computer failure, theft and human error, but never store them online, especially if the backup is not encrypted. Always think positively, about bitcoin, do not lost hope.

Sure too much bit of bitcoin is secured today and hackers do not just get the bitcoin site for a bit but there are some scammers but it does not get bothered because it's just a scam, but when your account is hacking your concern because when hacking your account can not be restored to you anymore.

Bitcoin is really secure but the thing is that Is the person or the system on which its being used is secure? Bitcoin can't be hacked but the system on which its being used can be hacked.

Not totally secure, it's still as ridiculous as people. Being victimized by scammers, we can say that bitcoin is secure when he knows it and it can eliminate the scammers. Everything will be more comfortable when the scammers in bitcoin will fade away. It helps to improve people who use bitcoin. Hopefully it will secure and improve security here. It is also for the good of people who are fully using it. Smiley

Well as far as we know and believe that bitcoin is secure...as for those who already experience it they can testify if it is really secure or not..I guess these people wouldn't risk their life in investing to something that would be worthless.

Maybe I am wrong, its almost imposible for hacker to hack blockchain system. Data storage is spread to computer around the world. Bitcoin is safe as long we keep our private key safe and as for I now, I never heard about hacking on bitcoin wallet except on exchanger.

Since bitcoin depends on internet there are some chances to get hacked if someone works really hard to do it. Otherwise I think it is pretty much secured

Bitcoin is very secure.
The only way bitcoin isn't secure is if you don't store your coins well and do not secure your wallets properly. Maybe you get careless and leave your keys where someone else can get to it then your bitcoin is no longer secure and someone else will help secure it for themselves Grin

I'm using web wallet from blockchain and xapo, I'm glad because until now I have not found any serious security issues, it's because I activated all the security features even I keep it in Vault so bitcoin becomes very safe.
