Hey, I'm new to bitcoin mining and could really use some help here!

So, I'm using a GTX 660M but only get 23 Mhash/s...

Any suggestions as to what i might be doing wrong?

Also, the things stops every few hours with one of these errors:

18MH/s on my GPU, 2.3MH/s x4 on my CPU. Makes me wish I kept mining back in March, when the difficulty was WAY lower and I could actually mine! Looks like it's services only for me!

300+ Mhash with a 7870 and a whopping .2 on my laptop.  I use that to monitor LTC mining when notroll starts acting up and get 2.9Khash.

~580MH/s currently off a single Radeon 7950 (its running 1200Mhz)

I've had it on my laptop a few times but Nvidia #'s are bad.  670mx gets about 45MH/s.

I plan to but 3 or 4 HD7970, it should be 1.8 GH/s or 2.4 GH/s
Estimates show it should be breakeven after 6 months...

Is it still interesting to start bitcoin mining today?

I had an old system laying around (with an MSI N260GTX Twin Frozr OC (216)), so I decided I'd use it for mining.
And since power etc. is incuded in the rent of my student room, I didn't (and probably will not) spend any money setting it up and running it.
This rig averages about 45 Mhash/s. (temp: 59C)

I also leave my PC on mining during the night and when I'm away. And usually also when I'm just browsing or watching videos.
My PC has an MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk and averages at about 95 Mhash/s. It tends to get a little hot Sad (79C)

I'm using GUIMiner mining at slush's pool and don't have any options set.

How accurate is P2Pool's UI? I finally got it working with BFGminer and it's showing around 230Mh/s with 3-5% DOA. GUIminer refused to properly connect and was only making around 200 anyway.
