probably not many who think that trading is fun or a game because trading is very requires seriousness and also require intelligence. trading will be fun when the results get very big.

It depends on the person, because there are some people who are doing Trading just for pastime and even just for fun because they don't know where to spend to their money anymore. Like me, I'm just using some of my money on Trading just for fun, I'm just buying tokens that has potential and hold it and sell it when its price PUMP

That depends. If you trade with small sums that will not endanger your financial stability then trading is like fun game. But if you trade big money then it's a serious job that probably reoresents the serious source if income. But no matter what kind of trader you are, big or small, you should always have fun with that otherwise it's time to quit.
Trading can be fun or a game for most of the people because it actually is a better form of using hit and trial techniques to get better profits and success. It is fun for those who have previous knowledge and experience in trading but a game for those who have little intellect of trading.

I think you were right there that it's just a game for those who are new to trading and doesn't even have any idea how to handle things but i think it could be fun if they started to learn the process. The fun will begin if they started to learn the way of the game and it's quite interesting in the long run. Short term or long term traders it is still fun though.  Smiley

Trade is not a game. Trade requires a lot of knowledge and analysis in order to make a permanent profit, but still sometimes you get small losses due to the fact that you can not accurately predict everything.

I consider trading is a job that can give us income money. I do trading seriously and also full of analysis, so I never thought that trading is a waste of things. I will always be serious because then I can live this life happily.

Yep trading is not a game. If we are treat trading as a game, you would not be serious to gain profit from game and probably you would think lose is normal and don't analyze why you were lose. Be serious when trading because it's involved with your money.

In my own understanding trading is not a fun activities or game, but it is a business that yield return on investment over time. The main reason for trading is to make profit, so it cannot be just a mere game or for fun.

If you are just going to treat Trading like a joke, then it is loke you are throwing away your money into dust. Trading requires a lot of attention since the price is always fluctuating to low price or high price. But if you wanted to play it to avoid disappointment if you lose some profits because of a wrong decision, then do it, there is nothing wrong with that as long as you are not stealing others people money.

But if you are going to take Trading Seriously, you are going to earn a lot of money and make profits in the long run.

I agree, gamifying activities helps adults (not only children) to learn better. It makes the activity more enjoyable and "digestable"
Imagine gamifying throwing the trash (put an electronic buzzer over the bin, and count scores/points?), or trading stocks as you've mentioned

Seriously, I think trading is a psychological game, not a fun game, the psychology of anyone easily affected, they will be the losers and lose a lot of money in trading. In the game involving win and lose, serious is always a necessity, so you say if we view trading as a game, we will not be serious, that is wrong, we are certainly very serious with this psychological game, we do not want to lose, no one wants to be the loser in the game

You may be right but I think it cannot happen. I guess no one will try to utilize his skills in just doing it for the sake of fun if he is good at trading. He definitely will try to make the best use of his skills in order to make out money. He can have fun and earning at the same time by doing it.

I think I am one of this. I think seriously because it is my money that is on the line. When I think of it as fun then I might make more mistakes doing that.
I dont think that is a problem though as long as you have patience into waiting. That is the most important part of trading. Other people might look at it as fun but they can also make wrong decision.

For me Trading is both fun and serious game. Why Fun,as it is my passion from school days that trading would be my business in my future and i love to do trading from my school days. It has been a fun because it is also one of the business which can be made simple as we want by following technical analysis. But i am serious too, that it is a business which needs tons of dedication, hardwork, care, knowledge and skills to be done in right manner. It is one of my source of income which will feed my family lifelong.I need to be serious here as i can imagine how it can make rich guy into a poor and poor guy into rich.  Wink

It's true! Its hard to think of it as fun when you invested your hard-earned money to it. The advise is to invest only what you can afford to lose because if you invest something that is for your needs then there would be a tendency to lose more if the trade is not going where you wanted it to go because you will become emotional thinking you will not be able to eat the next week. The solution to this would be to have a trading plan so that you know what you will do whatever happens to your trade.

I treat trading as a business having an advance plan ahead before opening a position. It's important to know the risk involve when trading and as much as possible you already have an idea what will be your target profit. Set a realistic target profit because when you set your target so high then there is a possibility that the price will not be reach and the worse part is that when the price gets back to where you enter your position and then price continue to drop thus you will be force to have stop loss. Set realistic target because small profit never kill and you will not always be able to buy at the bottom and sell at the top.

“One thing very good traders have is insight into themselves.” - Chris Tate

FUN AND GAMES
Recently Louise Bedford and I have been doing the Short Term Trading Magic seminars in a few places and it has been sometime since I did any form of presentation on a semi regular basis. As such it has been interesting to observe people as they work through various trading issues.

One of the things I have noted is that people take trading far too seriously and this is reflected in a form of desperation. Desperation is the antithesis of the state of mind you need to be in to trade effectively.

There is no deny that this is a phase everyone enters at some stage in their career but to be successful you need to move beyond this and begin to treat trading as the game that it is. Once I started treating trading as a game then it became so much easier on the soul and my results reflected this. I even have a t-shirt that says that the fewer fucks I give the more I make.

This is not to say that I am reckless but rather that I am in no way wedded to the outcome of any trade. At its core my life will not change if a trade or even a cluster of trades are winners or losers – they are simply not that important. When compared to real life, trading is nowhere near as important as people think it is.

It is often commented that children are better are learning new things than adults who seem set in their ways. I am not so certain that this is a reflection of any great cognitive superiority or plasticity that the young may have but rather a reflection of their willingness to be both wrong and to play. Young children have no ego therefore the mistakes that their play generate have no impact upon their sense of self-worth. As adults we lose this resilience because we believe that it is somehow catastrophic to our self-image if we do make mistakes.

But in trading your mistakes are your own – no one else can see them so you are insulated from the judgment of others. This isolation gives you the freedom to be wrong but the only thing you have to cope with is your own judgment.

Markets are a wonderful universes for exploration and for play. The presence of micro contracts in various instruments and online trading mean that you experiment very cheaply.

The price of admission to the fun park is much lower than it used to be and the number of rides has gone through the roof. It is a shame that more traders don’t view trading as little more than a theme park where you can play to your heart’s content and during the process of playing you learn much more than you would if you were consumed by seriousness and desperation.

More trading quotes are below:

“To my way of thinking trading is an internal endeavour – there is no external enemy who you can deceive or overpower since markets only exist in the most ephemeral way inside your head. Markets may appear to be physical constructs but they are largely an illusion, trading occurs inside your head where your own perceptions and distortions of reality influence your decision making.” – Chris Tate

“The one thing you shouldn't feel pressured about is trading. If you do feel that way, you probably need to take a step back and reassess. Pressured trade(r)s don't make good trade(r)s.” – Joe Ross

www.tallinex.com wants you to be a successful trader

There are situation in my life that I see the trading as fun and games. I know it is serious job but for me it is my stress reliever. I love to see many trading charts that is always good.

Somehow, yes. It's fun for me because I like the setup that there is always a new coin that is listed every week/month with cool logos. I feel like I'm collecting awesome coins.

Well trading is not fun because you are risking your money if you are saying that this is fun. Trading required knowledge and skills which everyone don't have, only few people get success in trading. Analysis is another factor which is very important along with extensive market research. So trading is no game.
