Trade inside the Soma Community through a rewarding system that enables beneficial collaboration of the community members.
Another community based economy very interesting. a card , escrow, rewarding system.. everything good in one place.. but i still have a few question
is there a reputation system like Waves coin ?
Is this the first or is there any similar concept out there ?

I don't understand the benefit of this Interactive Item card (IIC). I think I got it, that certain data (ownership history, price history) about a product are stored and, in case of a sale, were updated. But what is it good for?

when will this project start ,i see this only 5 pages ,look like so quite ,right . any bounty campaign ?
It's on the ico phase and already raised more than 4m $. For an ico, the important thing is how much money raised, not how many posts is on ann thread. So it's going well and silent a bit. one guy say he seen they only get more than 800 ETH in last month. how they can get 14000 for 2 day. is this a mistake or something? Actually I don't see where you get this from? The funding rounds are more then 1 month ago!? |

Is the Social in competition with Bitbay or Syscoin for example? From reading the OP I don't really understand what the social aspect is about your marketplace. Only because it is decentralized and accessible without permission or what is the decisive aspect?

I really like project with social application, especially when its used with a blockchain. Social network have great possibility and represent a big market these days. I think SOMA has great argument to build a nice marketplace, and will implement a good uses of the token, not only a shares of the project but really a token with utility.

whats minimum softcap require for soma? i think this project do fast to raise sofcap.
For what I read they don't have softcap because they are backed up by venture funding from the earlier funding rounds. |

Will the users have profiles and groups like in facebook? And if you are rewarded by liking or publishing things how do you prevent just nonsensical spamming and liking?

Why not? It gives confidence about the history of an item in case you want to buy it. Everything's transparent so you'll know who owned it and will be able to check that user's records to find out if he/she cares about. |

Why not? It gives confidence about the history of an item in case you want to buy it. Everything's transparent so you'll know who owned it and will be able to check that user's records to find out if he/she cares about. So at the start of their platform every item will have a blank interactive item card and in order to keep it up to date, that specific item will have to be traded on Soma platform only. I think it will be pretty hard to find an item with IIC with more entries even later on. |

The Whitepaper in the OP is not easy to read, because of the lightblue colour font and the jpg-compression-artifacts.
If you have the original picture made of Soma-tech-Whitepaper.pdf, you could save it as uncompressed png-file or with 100 % quality in jpg and upload it again.
It would be easier to read.
I agree. I had to zoom-in just to read it (and even then it wasn't a comfortable read. The font should be increased and as Frank37 has mentioned, the quality of the text needs to be sharpened. Yes, there you can break your eyes. Really, the head got sick from such a font. Well finished. And I also thought that this project has something similar to Snapup? Well, it's not quite like it, but there's something in common. |
