If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?

,i don't know if it is possible that bitcoin will die in the next few years, but i think when bitcoin dies it would also affect the other alternate coins, because mostly those were based on bitcoin itself and just the difference are just the uses and their purposes, but still as what like others said, it depends to what is the reason on the bitcoin's extermination.

Altcoins will not necessarily will die, but its potential will get smaller because altcoins is based on bitcoins. Maybe they will use different that is like bitcoin but it will be hard for those who accepted services to convert altcoins to bitcoins.

they are both not easily die, it will only die if no one uses it and accepts it, thats the only thing i think that can hinders bitcoin and nothing else with thats why i am very eager to work hard for it because i believe it will be forever.

And as we can see the way it moves now i dont think so that there is a possibility that it would die if that can happen i dont think so that altcoin too there would be a some changes but not totally die for what would happen in bitcoin.

I think no because many altcoins are not depending on bitcoin. Only because bitcoin is the most general coin or the most known coin and bitcoin can be cash out not just like the altcoins. The reason why bitcoin is very important to the altcoins is that they used to rrade it so that they can earn bitcoin and can cashed it out.

maybe yes maybe not bitcoin is the father of altcoin i think if the bitcoin die the altcoin are affected goes all dump, for my opinion if they are happen this scenario my prediction to altcoin as part of the cryptocurrency have own identity to goes uprise the value of altcoin. and i believe this speculation are only speculation for bitcoin because the power of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency are very strong.

I think it'll die only when the internet on the whole world off forever but this case maybe never happen ) Or it'll die for a period if the fourth world war happen and then I think it'll come back when the war ended . And as I know allmost altcoins on the market is base on Ethereum blockchain so if bitcoin die it only affect to altcoin price but will not make altcoin die together

I don't think if Bitcoin dies it will effect the Altcoins because not all the Altcoins depend on Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin dies it will clear the way for many Altcoins. Soon Bitcoin's place will be replaced by some other Altcoins like Ripple or Mastercoin or maybe any other.

In my personal thinking bitcoin won't die in a short or long, because now only it is gaining more popularity than the past gaining more and more adoption as a whole. Different towns with varied features were in use, so without doubt even if something worse happens altcoins will continue to contribute to the digital currency market.

There is no possibility of bitcoin die and if it will happen unfortunately altcoin will die also because bitcoin introduces the trend of digital currency and still people have faith in it and there is no chance of this theory bitcoin is giving profit to the peoples and no other altcoin can replace it and it will never die because of its ever green profit.

It might depend on the reason why Bitcoin can die. In case when the death is due to total ban of Bitcoin as done by all governments or regimes then there is a possibility that Bitcoin death can also mean the death of altcoins. Now, if the reason can be other than that or it is within Bitcoin like losing the appeal from the market then there is a possibility that another coin can rise up to take the vacuum of leadership.

It is true, it is depend by the problem or by banning because if you say that only bitcoin can die, meaning bitcoin did die but not all crypto do die but if they said that any coin cannot be accepted in any things this is all crypto can be die.
