Anybody care to explain what is so innovative about minereum / artemine ?
I understand that you self mine MNE / ARTE with a set number of MNE per ETH address
but what is the utility of such a coin ? what is the vision ? I am not getting it ? (genuinely care to understand)

if you've read the whitepaper you will understand what these tokens are for, I want to ask you apart from ICOs that people are building on Ethereum what is the utility use case for Ethereum so far? MNE is less than a year, no ICO and you people are having a dig at the project. I can any many big ICO projects that have no utility use case after years of exiting. Read their whitepaper and you will understand what they are doing

Hi... I am new here. Just registered because of the discussion about a bot doing transactions and stuff. I really haven't read ALL of this thread here.
BUT....there might be a good possibility that THIEVES invested heavily into MNE and/or ARTE.
Background:
About a week and a bit ago my MEW got robbed because I ended up on a mimic phising site of MEW. My deposit arrived in wallet and two hours later it got stolen from this address: 0x46F8Cf8424FC6F8f208eF37793650353a9C35f63

There is just the one deposit I made and the withdraw from the thieves. When I followed the money I remember to have stumbled over transactions of the same amounts than posted here in the forum.

If someone has the time and motivation feel free to have a look at the address and follow the money. It might be possible that it are the very same transactions discussed here.

They are stealing up to a million USD worth of coins per day....they spread it literally EVERYWHERE. Tokens and coins I never heard of before.   Grin
They also lost money by investing in a scam....which makes me a little bit happy. haha

sorry about your loss, but this has nothing to do with this thread..... you got robbed of your eth that was in your wallet... followed the money and nothing points to either project here..... again sorry for your loss...

They've always been silent, but now most likely because they got called out. If they had been transparent from the beginning, there would be no problem. I don't give a fuck if they have genesis addresses or not. What bothers me is that we have no idea who the devs are, who owns the genesis addresses, what the plans are for both projects.

Yeah, it's extremely disappointing to see the projects go this route - a little transparency goes a long way.

I was a big fan of MNE in the beginning, but now I'm just getting out. I sent some initially for the Artemine project, but I'm probably just going to be writing that one off as a loss.

The Dev can still save some face, but it's going to take more than just popping in occasionally with an update here and there.

Yeah, the silence is probably because they tryng to see if this passes by and people forget about it thats how I see it, because if they see the logs as everyone does, they had only 2 options: admit they own all those gen adds or admit they fedup in the airdrop and allowed someone to make them.

so just out of curiosity, you believe ARTE will never make it to an exchange?  Is that why you are writing it off as a loss?  Regardless of all that has happened, if it makes it to an exchange it is not necessarily a loss.  Furthermore, if the dev really did own all those genesis addresses and converted all that MNE to ARTE, isnt it in his best interests to get ARTE on an exchange and then get its value as high as possible so that he can dump.  Granted he can dump his ARTE a lot faster with x50 the amount of addresses, but everyone who signed up day 1 was given a massive bonus to sign up.  We can dump our coins on the exchange as well to recoup money.

I think I am also going out, but still leaving some MNE for Arte and come what may already..will just definitely put some in case something big happens..we never know for sure.

True, but who will buy it now that the word is out that this is a scam. News travels fast and something like this sticks heavily and won't go away that easily.
But you can probably dump ART for a couple of cents when it hits some small exchanges.

BTW MNE didn't collapse yet since Dev (aka the big Gen holder) needs to built up his mined pool first before he can start dumping it. Almost all mined coins went into ART so it takes a while to accumulate a substantial amount of new coins to start dumping it. But when it happens it can go down to a couple of cents real fast and there is really nothing you can do about it.

So for the believers, don't waste your time on this thread since a dump is immanent. The procedure for execution has been initialised, it's only a matter when to pull the trigger.

im not necessarily saying any of this is incorrect, BUT at the same time the best way for the developer to get his money is to come through on the objectives of the plan.  See here is the thing with this project, and what makes it brilliant and scary.  It is not really a "scam" in the most common form of the word.  A scam would be an operation that takes everyone MNE who contributed to ARTE and never delivers anything promised in return (meaning ARTE tokens), and yes that could still happen.  We literally may never hear from Developer again.  However, that is a low level scam in terms of dollars.  Say we never hear from Dev ever again, hes got 500K MNE right now, and zero market to get value on.  I dont give a shit what Coinmarketcap says the price is for MNE, someone has to be willing to BUY it.  People are not buying up 500K MNE at $1.50.  So if the coins are NOT burned, and again I am not saying they will or wont be, then what is the best way for the developer to make the biggest return on this?  Simply, its by coming through with everything he has said he would do on the tech side.  While people in here are calling scam, there will be A LOT of people who will read these threads and then see the developer back up his claims for the tech side and invest in this project based on updates for future developments.  You have to remember, this is the wild mother fucking west.  Its like panning for gold back in the old days.  If people smell a pump for ARTE/MNE and think they can get a solid 2X, 3X, 5X, 10X, you can damn well sure believe its gonna go up.  Unless developer literally delivers nothing, its in his best interests to make this project work.  He has stacked the playing fields FOR SURE, but there is room for everyone who is invested in ARTE/MNE to get a little taste if he simply delivers on his promises regarding tech.

guys just a little concern, Does artemine has a Hardcap or something whatever it's called will make the project cancelled in the future if they did not raised certain amounts of funding?

It's specially because of people like you, that bhought this token and didnt participate in airdrop that we want things to be cleared. He should explain this to everyone that was buying tokens in livecoin were a very big portion of them were from the same guy.

Well....than you have not read my post properly or I wasnt clear enough....

There are TWO points in my post of significance for MNE / ARTE owners.

Point 1:
The transactions done by a bot (or one user) in question might not be transactions the DEV done...it might be the thieves. In my opinion it is worth investigating because so many people scream "scam" and "dev did this" and "dev did that". He might not be the one who did these transactions. Does that make sense to you?

Point 2:
I wanted to raise awareness of mimic phishing sites of MEW.... a wallet many MNE / ARTE owners probably use.

So.... I think both points are significant for MNE / ARTE user/owner.....or am I wrong?

And don't be sorry for my loss..... money comes and money goes. I like money....but I'm not attached to it really. Smiley

guys just a little concern, Does artemine has a Hardcap or something whatever it's called will make the project cancelled in the future if they did not raised certain amounts of funding?

No it does not have hard cap, the amount that will be in circulation depends on the amount of Ethers and MNE tokens received during the ICO.

Hi... I am new here. Just registered because of the discussion about a bot doing transactions and stuff. I really haven't read ALL of this thread here.
BUT....there might be a good possibility that THIEVES invested heavily into MNE and/or ARTE.

You are completely wrong and obviously never read what I posted.....how would thieves randomly steal Eth out of 50-100 address that containe thousands of Mne gen addresses. In a matter of minutes.... It Would only mean everything ties to one person..... So why come here.. Make your first post in this thread trying raise awareness here... Sounds like you are trying to make an excuse for the dev... Maybe you are the person with all the addresses! Why not just come public, admit there is something wrong and try to fix things?

ARGH.... boy.... don't you wanna understand me on purpose?

The thieves don't steal randomly. They get people on their FAKE MEW sites through google ads and facebook and stuff. I googled for MyEtherWallet instead of using my bookmark.
My fault. Laziness.
I should have used my bookmark or typed in the full address. They are stealing while we speak.... and most likely 24/7. They spread the coins and tokens they steal to the next wallet.... and to the next....and to the next. In small amounts most of the time. And they invest the money as well.....they invest in EVERYTHING. Well.... if you steal one million per day you won't keep it on ONE wallet.....you keep it moving....spread the money over hundreds of wallets....invest in ICOs, trade it on exchanges.....I don't know.
I don't want to defend the DEV .... its just a reasonable good posibillity (most likely) that they bought MNE and/or put money into ARTE.

Just take one minute and have a look at my robbed wallet. Have a look at the transactions from the thieves wallet.....and follow them. You will see .... its not unlikely their bots made the transactions in question. I just dont have the time or resources or knowledge to go through all their wallets and transactions....

I just know that I saw transactions from them which could be the transactions in question.
