You can't at this moment as i know, consider using usb flash or encrypt folder/disk partition for security

Another way to safeguard your coins is to create offline wallet on an air-gapped computer and then regularly move coins from your online wallet to your offline wallet.

Ubuntu 17.10.2 is installed on a NUC7i3 with 32GB SSD and works fine.

Have some questions for creating a TOR node:
1. do I have to take port 1989 for SSH in my router or can I take a port of my choice?

I can confirm this, just use the GUI wallet which will always be maintained. If you have funds in a mybitcoinz wallet just wire them over to the other wallet.
