Maybe Baikal is not using our miners, maybe they simply already sold all of them to big players, like asicminermarket.

Unfair though.

I don't understand most of you "miners" are quite pathetic and noobish.

Sorry to be so harsh but what do you guys think that will happen ?

What I do know is that its stupid to buy a miner based on what it would make the moment it got released.
Because everyone will buy the miner and the coin markets will go down because more people will be selling.

It doesn't matter how crazy the cryptocurrency is its still just a normal market

It's easy to understand..... because we are, i didn't born with that acknowledge, and you?. The better way to learn is to lose money, but it's the most expensive...

Apologize again for all the inconvenient. If you consider the delay is unacceptable, I could try to apply full fund return of this batch for you.

Just to understand:
a) Baikal takes our money in advance to build x10 (with profit);
b) Then Baikal runs our x10 to earn more money;
c) Then Baikal tells us to wait while they are earning more money with our miners;
d) If we don't agree, we can get our money back, paid with the money they earned with our miners meanwhile.

Baikal is a Ponzi genius!

Haha, indeed.  Grin

Its really a huge topic in my mind...in my life. Today I woke up and was crazy happy. There is a DHL tracking number in my email inbox.. provided by asicminermarket.

Then I realized it was a DREAM!

Noooooo!  No tracking number...no answer. Nothing.

They still make money with my already payed Miner (payed in September).

Only one thing can comfort us, when in the future we see that Baikal is a great corporation, you will know that it is thanks to you and your money....

asicminermarket has learn the way of the Ponzi with Baikal doing almost exactly the same thing as what chup mentioned, except with the following changes.

a) asicminermarket takes our money in advance to build purchase x10 (with profit);
b) Then asicminermarket runs our x10 to earn more money;
c) Then asicminermarket tells us to wait no one while they are earning more money with our miners;
d) If we don't agree, we can can't get our money back, paid with the money they earned with our miners meanwhile.

IMHO, it's mainly asicminermarket.
I think Baikal just sold almost all Giant X10 Oct batch to asicminermarket and now it will use December batch to fill both October AND December batches.

What I am asking is if asicminingmarket is also delaying people’s orders.

Just guessing, but honestly...I really believe thats the truth:

They're in cahoots together! Asicminermarket is owned by a good friend of Baikal owner... maybe they are brothers?

Anybody located in europe received a miner or a tracking number at least? I see asian and american updates only.

Did you get it from Baikal or ASIC Miner Market?

I got it straight from baikal the same hour the pre order opens up I sent an email, was told I could only purchase 1 miner though... but 1 is better than none so didn’t even complain. It was a pain dealing with this back and fourth it’s them. But I just figured I’d stay calm and not get on their bad side. I got the miner around 9am I believe from DHL, and it was wrapped with many layers of Saran Wrap, and came with 3 sets of cables ( 1 in 2 outs per cable )

Who knows if they went by when you ordered or alphabetical order of last name ( I’m A ) either way, hopefully everyone else gets theirs in soon too.

so from your pictures it looks like to power x10 you need only 3 pci-e sockets and not 6? As on cable has one in and two out connections.

You need 6  6pin pcie, I’m just using the adapters they included.

ok, thanks. As I understand this psu should work for baikal x10? http://www.enermax.co.uk/triathlor-eco/

I recommend to buy a "HP DPS-1200FB A". They are excellent quality, on ebay very cheap and perfect for mining with a breakoutboard. Look at parallelminer.com to get more info.

I am in the second batch and a US buyer. I am starting to become very concerned after reading through this thread. Really sucks that there is nothing that can be done about this but take it up the you know what.

@PublicDefender LOL brother.

Yes ASIC Miner Market is scamming as well. Even worse than Baikal.

1) They post Videos of OUR miners mining.
2) They do no respond to communication - AT ALL

I've been saying for a week or so that batch 1 must be way larger then everyone expected. I think you guys are right, it isn't larger they just gave 98% of batch 1 to those scamsters and are pushing most of batch 1 to batch 2. I'm sure there is some kick backs happening with asicminermart. Or they paid extra. Like hey we will give you 1500 a unit, knowing they will sell for 2500 plus mine with them for a week or two before shipping. For me I am going to ride this out as I have already purchased 3 power supplies, a nice shelf thingy, PDU, and had an electrician install a 220v outlet. Funny enough I planned and did all the electrical stuff based on the initial wattage estimates, now they use like half and I prolly didn't need all that. OH well more overhead for more miners later.

You'll need a break out board as well.

the adapters are fine, but when possible always use 6 seperate cables connected to your breakout board.
its more stable and chances for burnt cables are minimal..

i plan to use one HP 1200W PSU per miner, unfortunately they havent told us the power consumption of the 2 unknown algos yet..

OK, quick question - little off-topic (X10)

For the last 5 days my Baikal Giant+'s, which are (were) stable as hell for months and have been pulling in about $12 USD last 2-3 weeks ... just started going offline. All of them, not at same time, but all are going down 3-4 times a day.

1) Nothing changed with units, networking, environment (Ambient Room Temp = 56f), miners are nice and cool.
2) Power Supplies are cool
3) Blue light starts blinking and they are inactive, have to disconnect power and reconnect and they come back for awhile.

Anyone else having this issue all of a sudden?

I purchased an APW3++ 18 connector for the power supply. You guys think that is overkill? I was planning on running two L3s with the power supply in the case that I sell the miner before I get it.
