If I would be looking for Baikal hardware, I would buy my large quantity order directly from Baikal (www.baikalminer.com).
or if I want a small quantity order, I would go to bittawm (www.bittawmart.com).

Asicminermarket is not trustworthy.

Trustworthy when the miners are working... But if there is a problem you are alone

I need help from anyone got past customs with asicminermarket.com , My unit waits at customs and I need the company info or a photo of older invoices by them delivered to customs to generate a real invoice for the miner. Customs did not accept the price and ask for real invoice, i told them it costs 1999$ and they still want an invoice.... i still didn't got a reply from simon and I need it so urgently..

What country are you in?

I have found that they respond fairly quickly (remember the time difference to China!). Usually within 24 hours. I just used the contact form on their site.  If you have your order number from them, it would probably help to include it.

That's kinda annoying that the customs guys get to decide how much something cost you, and then hold it. I'm sure that asicminermarket would be happy to print you up an invoice that said $150 (or whatever they put on the customs form).

Even $150 is probably more than the actual physical value of the combined hardware in the thing. I don't know where they get off giving you so much trouble. Maybe they know what it really is, and it's plugged in right now at their place Wink

It doesn't even have it's own PSU...  The software is offered up for free on the Internet... It should be on them to prove that an orange pi, a bunch of FPGA chips, a fan, and 12" of extruded extruded aluminum tube adds up to more than $150. Tongue

That sucks.

That was probably bad advise, because now they know something is up. If they told you to tell customs that, I'm sure they would be more than happy to give you an invoice for $1999 to make sure their other shipments to your country don't draw more scrutiny.

They should have just sent you an invoice for the number they put on customs. Prices of these things fluctuate all the time. They can't look at a website today and figure out how much you paid months ago... or even a day ago.

Anyway... I always got an answer withing a day when I used the form on their website.

anyone ever had problems with delivery?
I am from Ukraine and I worry about customs clearance.

Receive one this day in France
DHL send me a  SMS with http link to pay customs tax yesterday (61€).
Have you pay customs tax ?

Three weeks ago we wanted to buy Baikal Giant b. But we could not transfer money to their bank account.
The problems were with the transfer of dollars. Banks did not miss the payment.
And how did you transfer money?
Were there any problems with money transfer?

Thank you

Asicminermarket is a scam, don't order anything from them!

I Baught many X10 from Asicminersmarket and they delivered batch 2 faster then Baikal. My order from Asicminermarket was sent on the 12 of december arrived on the 18 og december while Baikal arrived on 27 of december (this is all for Batch 2). I did pay a bit more when buying from Asicminermarket.... caling them an outright scam is a bit though... My experience with them has been excellent atleast.

This is my mini x10 farm now.

https://streamable.com/cgna3

The first orders on Asicminermarket i made works fine. Deliverytime to Germany 3-4 Days, but the last order I made, 2 Giant+ Wasn’t fine.
They told that miners are in Stock. After buy and 2 weeks without any Information I asked them, what’s about my miners, answer on same day - Out of Stock. 2 weeks later they send me a shipping Notifikation. miners arrived a few days later, but both miners was damaged and used. One of them worked only on 1 Board with 0,7 GH and 100% Powerconsumption.. After testing them I mailed to them and told that the miners are used, damaged and 1 of them didn’t work, and I would like send them back.
They answered and asked what’s the problem with the miner and if the blue lights are on.
I told them that only 1 light is on. After this mail I didn’t receive any answer.
I contacted them via email, Twitter, Facebook, Skype. no answer. No money back, no new miners..

When your miners work fine, you can buy. But when you have a problem, it’s your Problem.

I will never buy anything on Asicminermarket.com

Thanks, I'll give them a miss as the reports are mixed. Looks like luck of the draw with them.
Thank you for choosing us. Asicminermarket is a qualified distributor. We are willing to transport the miners on time and quickly. We hope everyone who loves to explore science and technology can have his favorite miners. Really sorry, maybe because of our negligence in giant + gave you a bad shopping experience, I'm really sorry, we will strengthen and improve in the future. asicminermarket team.

Im thinking. Baikal giant B has same chips as Baikal giant X10. It has also same controller board - Orange pi zero. It has same web GUI (http://www.lateralfactory.com/scripta-litecoin-mining-distribution-for-raspberry-pi/). It has same mining software - cgminer. Is here some linux expert ? Will it be possible to take giant B image and replace giant x10 image ? Create giant B from giant x10. Maybe its necessary to change some things in giant B image. But I think some linux expert can do this...

Unplug sd card from B
Plug sd card to X10
It's too easy, Baikal won't let do this ...
