BTC for taxi

I like this idea.However have a problem. When I rent my taxi through Bitcoin It's so small cost.But bitcoin transaction fee Become more than a rental.So first Bitcoin transaction fee will be reduced.Then it's possible.

i think if btc price is not already stable then it is difficult to apply btc for taxi because if we are usually pay for 0.001 btc for one destination into other destination. then suddenly the btc market is dump hard, then how much we can adjust the fees to pay. we need to pay more than 0.001 btc to go to other destination. but the idea is good and once everything is set up, i think bitcoin can be used to pay for everything and soon we can used bitcoin in the real life too.

it depends, because not every taxi driver will be interested in getting bitcoin as a method of payment rather than cash just because they might not prefer to or that they don't have the knowledge about bitcoin. Also, taxi fares are not that high to be paid with something of high value like bitcoin.

Might not be such a wonderful idea in a place like Berlin, cos taxi are expensive here.... and then with BTC, would even cost more.. (transaction fees and stuffs)

It is good news if taxi receive bitcoin as payment. Though i do not really use taxi but it seems to be big improvements for bitcoin as payment. This just first before continue to next step.

that sounds lovely actually. it is same like using credit card but you can also use bitcoin or alternative coins to pay your ride, that would be so comfortable.

In my opinion bitcoin is a very valuable crypto currency, if your using this for paying taxi is not that much fair .It a crypto currency why are you using this for these purpose ?,i think you are not at all aware about the opportunities that held in bitcoin in it's market.Bitcoin offers you a great financial condition in future,so try to use it very carefully.......................

if your country has legalized bitcoin, payment for anything can be done using bitcoin. including paying taxis and any means of transportation

If every payment can be done through the bitcoin there would be much ease to live, and traveling with bitcoin is just awesome experience and in first world countries drivers prefer bitcoin on the cash money and this is the most attractive thing, no worries of running out of cash just a click and you pay your ride and a lot of other departments are thinking to legalize its acceptance to give ease.

for me, cash or credit card is still convenient for Taxi payment because right after you dropped from Taxi is payment should be made in seconds. I don't think BTC will work that way high transaction fee and delay of transfers will create inconvenience for Taxi payment and other alike transactions.

May be now BTC not possible to use for taxi payment. Cash and credit card is convenient for taxi payment. In future cryptocurrency only use to all type of payment. I think 2022 accept all the taxi, It will easy to access for taxi payment.

in our country, there is an online wallet which has a virtual card,with the use of bitcoin. we can use it to book for grab taxi.
and i think in the next more months or maybe next year it can be use in all countries.

When the operators of those taxi's are starting to accept bitcoin the driver's doesn't really care at all because he will even get paid with cash after getting those bitcoins by the operator. It's something that's quite hard to think as of today but I know that one day it's possible to happen just like the same with uber pay.

It's a good idea but it's a must start to learn or even find taxi drivers in bitcoin so they can easily use it for something else. its cool as instant payment without cash. taxi must have internet connectoin

Well if you are saying taxi, the taxi that you picked by waving your hands then no. It is not practical for conventional taxi because of the wait time of Bitcoin transaction. But if you are referring to the online taxi's like Uber, Lyft, Grab, Didi Chuxing, etc, then maybe those provider may take the risk of unconfirmed transactions.

Genrally, I think the context here is really target towards Uber and Grab. They are more technically inclined compared to traditional wave-a-hand taxis currently overpopulating the roads. This will be a great alternative mode of payment for taxis like Uber. I would support this.

They also think wisely and think over and over again before they agree upon payments.Other asian countries would have difficulty in accepting it maybe. On the other hand,Americans have no doubts in accepting bitcoin because they have more advanced technologies and budget wise for their establishment so anytime they can do that kind of payment in taxis.

yes I agree with you. bitcoin is too valuable if only spent on paying for taxi. Bitcoin is an investment that can provide us profitabl that can cash out, so why not pay a taxi with the profit we get from bitcoin? so the bitcoin we have is not exhausted and still can provide benefits. I prefer to pay a taxi with the balance available on the application I use because it is more efficient and simple, also in my city taxi only receipt payment on cash or top up balance

For sure there will be a lot of operators that will not agree on this idea especially those people that are living in a country that doesn't have that much progress and innovation. I'm thinking about this that it will be possibly applicable in the wild west and also in European countries. I'm also thinking a good part of Japan since they are one of the biggest contributor in the transactions of bitcoin.

I really think it is a great idea to circulate the usage of Bitcoin, and paying taxis using Bitcoin would also be a great idea in the future. Although saving it would also be one great idea for the future also of our kids because as we all know the value or price of Bitcoin does keep on increasing almost every year.

In my point of view, it is actually not a really good idea to spend your bitcoins in a way like this. You can pay paper money as well for things like that. There is actually no point of wasting your bitcoins in a way like this. Bitcoin is something far more worthy than this. You need to be very much careful while deciding where to spend bitcoin and where to not.
