BTC for taxi

I like this idea. But maybe it's also a disadvantage, especially in bitcoin's transaction fees. The transaction fees now is huge. Hopefully if there is a taxi that the charge is bitcoin, they may consider this transaction fee. Or just buy your own car instead. 

This would be very advantage to us because it brings an easy and fast transaction payout on our taxi bill. And in addition of awareness popularity to other people about what is bitcoin. On how it really help to the economy of the country as well.

bitcoin used as a means of payment is very much awaited by bitcoin users including taxi payments. the fluctuating bitcoin price becomes important thinks if it's for those who want to receive bitcoin as a means of payment not to mention the absence of government support will make it more complicated.

Even bitcoin is a good way of payments even in bitcoin then there is no person that will use bitcoin to pay their taxi fares because that is useless, you need to pay the taxi by bitcoin and you need to pay the fee also and because of that it will cost you more money and it is not a good decision to spend bitcoin because the fluctuating price gives a hint to us that the price can go up higher than we thought.

FIrst ai think that bitcoin must be legalized and integrated to your country for this to work and second the taxi drivers must be educated and made aware of bitcoin. one problem I am seeing about this is the vilatility of bitcin in a sense that it gives different prices unpredictably.

That idea was good but I think it will never happen that here in bitcoin, legalization of bitcoin to our governmentgovernment is need if that will happen to pay fair in taxi. If that happen they controlled bitcoin and us we don't have freedom from our government.
BTC for investing and trading transaction and pay some bills not for fair taxi,or restaurant bill.

Already an ico project with similarity is running. Such a plan of taxi accepting bitcoin in the city as well other locations were quite good. But these kind of business need to be generated only after a certain percentage of people knowing about it, because if started with huge investment and if none make use if it what the investor get by the end is loss.

I think in the future, Bitcoin was accepted as a kind of money. You can use it to pay everything. But I don't think people will use it.  They will use altcoin or token for payment. You can look the Cartaxi project to get more information.

Wouldn't that be hard because of the slow transaction confirmations? I guess it could be possible, but if I were a taxi driver, I would try to impose a minimum transaction fee just to make sure it doesn't get canceled. It's a sound idea otherwise though. Not having to bring any cash that could be robbed is always a positive.

if it can be used legally for taxisi it would really increase the popularity of bitcoins. I'm following cartaxi project. I dunno if there is similar projects but if it becomes successful it will bring momentum.

It is best to pay for the vehicles. Like a taxi? you will still be charged when you get to your destination. It is helpful to have the process of paying for cars be resolved by bitcoin. The bill is easier when booking cars, just like Grab, Uber and so on. At Grab they have to process a fee, have credit and have personal payments. I'm happy to use bitcoin in vehicles that serve people

I hope soon, this think will happen. It can help those people that does not have money but have bitcoin. If this happen, you will see that we are all in modernized world, with cashless society. If all people will accept bitcoin, then that's the time that it will happen.

If UBER started accepting Bitcoin I think it would be incredible. The only down side I see if people not paying enough for fees and the transaction taking a long time to confirm.

Well there would have to be requirements to be met for this. Devices for online transactions would have to be set up just like credit card terminals. Its going to be quite expensive i assume for this to take effect though economically stable countries like japan may be able to pull off such.

Taxi usage is found commonly in the routine daily life, so such a plan of bitcoin acceptance by the service providers will easily reach large user base as well it's good to the growth of bitcoin as well other digital currencies, because even unknown people find way to explore and know about it.

it all depends on the policy in your country, does your country accept bitcoin as a payment transaction tool?
otherwise it will not happen.
bitcoin is a digital payment tool of the future, but back again to your country.
can it be legal? because it plays an important role for bitcoin to be accepted in society and becomes a means of payment in your country
to pay a taxi or pay a cup of coffee.

There are already many establishments around the globe that accept bitcoin as mode of payment. But I haven't heard bitcoin as payment on taxis so far. Maybe because it sometimes it may consume more time? Perhaps another crypto is better here.
