I like taxi. I think this is a good idea. I hope in my city also accept bitcoin. because everyday I use taxi.

There are quite a few Uber drivers accepting it, in fact I am sure there was a trial run on accepting it on their website some time before.

Bitcoin can use for taxi in that country where bitcoin is legal and using for buy and sell any thing against the fiat money. But there are so many project are coming in the crypto market with new ico and launching new coin which is using blockchain system for traveling field. Because now every company want to use the digital currency in the market and want to success.

I think this is a great thing, a significant change if bitcoin can be used for taxi, given that taxi is a means of transportation wherever it can be found and organized.

Bitcoin will not only use for Taxi but will be use for so many other purposes, even in some places and specially in modern countries people will already be using bitcoin for taxi, they are also using bitcoin in their local shops for shopping and for so many other purposes, and with the passage of time the use of bitcoin is increasing, hope that very soon people from all over the world will start using bitcoin as currency.

I don't think it is grateful in paying small expances like taxi If we are going to pay small expenses in taxi using bitcoin then just think for the fees that you are going to pay using bitcoin so i don't think that it is a great way to pay things up because if you will pay only a small amount of money using bitcoin then the fees will double all the amount that you will be paying so it is not practical for a conservative bitcoin user.

I don't think it will work for taxis, the transaction times for bitcoin is too slow and people will want to rush out of the taxi and go. Most likely here will be an altcoin for this purpose instead.

I believe that there are some other countries who are already using credit cards that are connected to taxi's who has payment method of cryptocurrency in order to pay their fair bills on a taxi or any transportation fee.

We learn until we die, that is what I think now. 3 years ago I would say yes on this question, yes bitcon for taxi and everything else. Today I realize how blind and ignorant I was, there will be a taxi coin ( or there are several ), there will be a coin for everything, bitcoin can connect all of them, but not just bitcoin, litecoin can play that role too, or some privacy coin, depends how do you wish to pay for something.

Don't be silly, transaction speed and fees are fine already and in future it will be faster. Will you pay with bitcoin, litecoin, monero, you name it will be just your decision, what you support and what you like more, do you wish to stay anonymous or not. We agree on that new alt, when I see what is ethereum doing with new icos and smart contracts and some other platforms its obvious that every business activity will have its own alt or token on some platform, depends of the size of business, or they will simply adopt existing one.

There are already many establishments around the globe that accept bitcoin as mode of payment. But I haven't heard bitcoin as payment on taxis so far. Maybe because it sometimes it may consume more time? Perhaps another crypto is better here.

Taxi is just another daily routine sector where we desperately need cryptos payment. We have separate coins all together for paying taxi services. Car taxi token is sufficient enough to meet your needs I think. Infact they have opened a few taxis in Russia and adjoining countries. Uber should also try to expand in crypto sector I think.

I can see taxi's, uber, and lyft type companies eventually accepting BTC or faster transaction alt coins to do its job. It's only a matter of time before these industries look at Crypto like just another debit card/payment method.

If cryptocurrency is not banned in your country then the concept of taxi that accepting bitcoins as a payment for their fair can be also implemented. There are different online stores today who implemented a cryptocurrency payment method so it is possible that bitcoins for taxi fairs will be allowed.
