The price of bitcoins has gone through various cycles of appreciation to by busts. 6 years back the value of one bitcoin rapidly rose from about US$0.30 to US$32. November 2013, the cost of one bitcoin rose to a peak of US$1,242. In 2014, the price fell sharply, As of August 2014 it was under US$600.In 2015, noting that the bitcoin price had dropped to its lowest level. Since 2015 prices are rising to quite higher level. So i sure that prices will be at greater position after 5 years.

in my opinion, within five years, most of the world's banks will use as mobility, that is, a real currency, then the dollar, the pound, the yen, the euro......  The price of the bitcoin is very high and I am very sure in the short time it will be very high as more time is passing. It is the time for the bitcoin to go higher and to make the space for the value in my country. According to me Bitcoin will be the double of its present value. So the future of the bitcoin is bright according to me. |

bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
Bitcoin has the potential to reach the 5000 milestone within the time frame of 5 years, it can be confirmed if we look at the current steady growth of the bitcoins. if look to the current steady i think it will cross 10000 dollar after 5 years. |

Bitcoin has the potential to reach the 5000 milestone within the time frame of 5 years, it can be confirmed if we look at the current steady growth of the bitcoins. if look to the current steady i think it will cross 10000 dollar after 5 years. It would surely be on that range on upcoming 5 years but we cant still be sure on what would exactly be the price it might be more or even bitcoin is already dead on that time.No one knows because no man can able to predict the future but if we do try to see its progress on its 7 years on existence we can really see the progress which we can able to presume on the possible things to happen ahead. |

It's not easy to tell. In todays' world when everything is moving and changing so fast five months could be eternity and five years is distant future. Nevertheless I expect for Bitcoin to grow further and to be more accepted and part of finances everywhere in the world like fiat currencies are. I also think that price will be much higher than it's now.

Most, if not all the responses to this question will be mere speculation as nobody can really predict or tell what would happen to the price of Btc in a week's time let alone in 5 years time. I certainly believe and hope that the adoption rate of Bitcoin will increase heavily in that time frame and i also believe that the price will continue to rise inline with the increased adoption and usage by people. I look forward to the day when 1Btc would be worth 50K plus  |

In order for bitcoin to be seen as a currency, it'll have to rise in value so that whales can't pump and dump anymore, and so that it becomes less volatile. A 100K Bitcoin would mean a total cap of around 2 trillion, which would make it a very nice currency. I think satoshi will be the real currency then

One thing is obvious that the price would be more than now , because Bitcoins are always increasing in long term .
The value can be like $5K to like $10K ,
The acceptance would also increase , more and more traders would start accepting it as a mode of payment like Microsoft and Dell.
The transaction fees could go down , I know that transaction fees are important for Safety of transaction but still in my personal opinion they are very high.
Maybe bitcoins would be accepted as a global currency that would be used by every nation.

5 years are a lot of years, so many things might happen in that long. But I know that bitcoins will still be the one ruling this cryptocurrency industry. And if they continued to be that successful, their price might triples as the price of theirs today. And I also think that a lot of stores will know accept bitcoins as a payment because bitcoins are gonna be more popular than today. I know that there are stores who are accepting bitcoins but in that year it will be increased. And if that happen I'm gonna be rich. |
