I predict that, yes, there will be some forks along the way. Technology changes rapidly and bitcoin is no exception -- to adapt it will have to adjust to changing demands in the marketplace. I also suspect it will be worth $20,000 in five years.

all that for me is speculation, and about the next 5 years, many possibilities can happen. maybe bitcoin will go down or vice versa. but if I think, bitcoin will rise again in the future, because many of the countries are now starting to involve on bitcoin.

Hard forks are going to occur as if its just a normal circumstances. That's a problem that miners have,they want things to work under their rules and regulations. Price should probably be increasing than expected ,crashes gonna occur more and more ,transaction fees might increase because bitcoin will get popular by the day and the demand will also increase rapidly.

By the the near future more vendor's will tend to accept bitcoin, value of bitcoin will either increase to a great degree or at least be in the same price range , everyone will be more knowledgeable about bitcoin and tend to invest in into it . New features of bitcoin will be developed too.

The marketcap and value need to rise to 25K to stop it from fluctuating so much. It can become a real store of value, but not yet when it's so 'cheap'

It will definitely go to the moon. There would be some certain area which the cryptocurrency will replace fiat coin. Like Visa card, people need something that they can easily carry and use anywhere, but it must be fast and convenient. Prices go up and down depending on the trend of exchanges and or current events that will greatly influence the trend. Many things can happen in a span of five years. I think by that time, Bitcoin is already well known worldwide and many countries are starting or have started to adapt and legalized it. that's an extreme thought I think. I don't really know what will happen later if a lot of hardfork because it's hard to predict. but for expensive transactions and the long confirmation in my think is true because if the transaction fee and confirmation in the next 5 years is still the same as now I think bitcoin will stuck or increase little by little.

In my opinion, the transaction fee and the speed will improve because every technology has improved with time. It will be 8k dollars at least by then. If it has not disappointed the holders yet, it won't in the future also and will fulfill all of our expectations. Even if the value gets stuck, no other crypto coin will touch 4k dollars and it will still remain at the top in regard of profits.

Its normal to think off that bitcoins price would really be more higher compared as of now and 5 years from now is still far on which we can assume that there are still further developments would really happen along the way and also we cant be sure if bitcoin is still alive on those years knowing that no one could able to predict on whats ahead on upcoming years.

No doubt it will go up, the question is to what extent. I think we can anticipate something around 400% increase compared to what we have now in 5 years. And those are moderate predictions. If Bitcoin's acceptance will grow big time, which can happen in the future, the price of it can jump to unpredictable height.

I do see bitcoin into 5 years with a lot changes from now, i do expect this year will be the last one with forks, since it does damage more bitcoin then really helps. Bitcoin into 5 years will be worthing above 10k-20k dollars, and the biggest and most important thing will be legalized at more then 10-15 countries, forcing the remaining to legalize it as well.
