would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

if bitcoin becomes the official currency ,, and we have to use bitcoin when buying anything, it is not effective. because every time we transaction bitcoin there is a transaction fee ,, in small and large amounts the same cost, we will lose.

Would you like to live in a country where all the money is digital and everything you spend is public and could be seen by everyone in the world until the end of days? And if the internet is shut down then you would have no money?

I don't want, we'll see the value of bitcoin is not stable, it is less efficient in my opinion if the official currency of a country. It could be that countries that apply bitcoin as the official currency will experience inflation from all sectors.

There are transaction fees every time you use a credit or debit card, too. you just don't see them as they're "hidden" from the end customer.
Bitcoin fees are a bit of a problem, but one that can be overcome with technology. Good progress in that direction has been done already. Not to mention that pragmatic solutions could always be developed "IRL".
It would be interesting. Currently, it would have to be an extremely self-sufficient economy, as any reliance on foreign import in excess of exports would be trouble with such a volatile currency.
Big challenge, but I wouldn't mind trying it out. It would be much worse in developed countries with a stable economy, but in countries who are experiencing economic collapse, hyperinflation, etc it might be an interesting experiment.

I don't think it's possible that a country would have fixed prices in Bitcoins. For example smartphone XY for 0.1 BTC. However it is possible that the prices would be pegged to US dollar or other fiat and the price in bitcoins would change every minute according to the exchange rate. I can imagine this in a smaller country, island for example. And the country needs to be progressive and high-tech because everyone would need to adapt, even saleswoman at the market who sells fruit, she would need to accept payment in bitcoin.

I think we may eventually get to this point. I believe you will see a semi-failed state eventually adopt BTC, in a hope to turn their crumbling economy around. Venezuela, perhaps?

That is good reaction. I don't think there is country where use bitcoin as official and single currency. There are many problems about bitcoin storage that will come if we do that.

Absolutely yes, Usually the payouts in campaign's are delay but its ok as long as the value is very high and the job they are producing is consistent. There are some country that are using crypto currency in their transactions like buying goods, One of the example is dubai, Some of the restaurants over there are accepting bitcoins.

Of course i will, why? There are many features about bitcoin that is better than the paper currency like:
• Easy and fasttransaction • The value of it changes from time to time • Can't get robbed but can be scam • Can used by different Users around the world meaning it can be used even in other and outside the country • Easily earned
But i think it will be impossible that bitcoin can be a countries official currecy.

The very Q is BS. Bitcoin cant ever be an 'official currency' anywhere. It is already accepted as a 'legal' medium of exchange in Japan. That's the best status it can have.

official in the sense can already make payment for the smallest thing ?? I think this is not so interesting, you should know that every bitcoin transaction in big or small amount will be fee, what if in one day I do transaction 5 times? I'm not sure I'll last longer in that country by just thinking about the fee every time I shop or want to buy some products in different places, I do not think that's efficient.

My answer is No. I don't think it's a good way to use bitcoin as official currency. Maybe in other countries could be, but for us no. In terms of securing the money is good because it can't get robbed and it is easily earned but do you think everyone can make bitcoin accounts? how about a poor country that can't have mobile phones, tablets and wifi? Yes it might happen when the future comes but for me I won't live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency.

Obviously not. There is no chance to use Bitcoin as official crypto currency in our country because it has some regrets like every time we would give transaction fee. Besides that being offline we can't use it but in our country where most of the people don't know what is bitcoin.

Long before that I would ask some other question:
- is a democratic or a communist country (would you live in NK if they would use bitcoin) - third world country or g7 member, as I doubt you would live in Somalia even with coins - language, economy, welfare, unemployment and security levels all come well before what currency is used
And no I would not move to another country just because of that. My relatives are here, my family has lived for 300 years in this city, my wife only speaks german as a foreign language, I have a small child, moving to a country sounds impossible.

Yes, because our transactions are better and faster. And it's also a great advantage if we get paid for bitcoin, because it can increase and double its value yet. But it will be too late. And we know that many people will stop it especially the government . So let's see we do not know the trend of bitcoin and its future. So we will enjoy what we're getting now with bitcoin

I do not live in a country like that. If suppose as you say, it will also have its good and bad side. The good side is that you can keep a great value for money. The bad side is the price it always changes, so you have to update market information. And mentally prepared for the worst case.

Of course, I would consider migrating to a country where the official and the only means of payment would be Bitcoin. I am sure it would be a big hit if there is one being offered right now. Now, if we can't have a physical country for this maybe the best idea is to have an online country where we can digitally live and prosper...hope that someone would pick up this good idea soon to be called maybe as the Bitcoin Country. Now, going back to your question...I think the big problem is that we can't have a country like that as many of the governments we have don't want to lose the controls they have been putting up since time immemorial. So it would just remains a big dream for now...but who knows what can happen in the future, right?

If you call bitcoin as official currency meaning it is the only accepted currency in that country. I can think this situation may not happen and i dont want to be a citizen of that country yet. As we all know bitcoins price today is very volatile, in just a few minutes the effects are already huge. Therefore making it as the only currency in a country could couse a lot of potential problems. Such as misunderstanding the price of a certain product or services. But if they could make an agreement that price in that country will be fixed for a given peeiod of time then i think it is doable.

Bitcoin as the only currency that will not work. It can be used aside a fiat, I think that would would be possible. There is a reason why the central banks try to keep thier local fiat stable, with a small inflation: to keep the economy running. A volatile currency as the only currency in a country that will bring only chaos.

if this will be used as a national currency i guess the economy of that country will be also unstable as we seen that fluctuations swing all around how such a country can survive if their national currency depends from the movement of some whales? maybe i wont take this if given a chance to love in such a like place.

I can live on a country that bitcoin is an official currency only if the value of bitcoin is stable like USD. And if the country really accept is a number one or second means of payment. For now some of our bills and payments can be done by using bitcoin but many establishment doesnt recognize it as a means of currency like here in Philippines.

Of course yes. This is a great thing to do in the history of bitcoins because a country has fully accepted it. And if the economy of a country is going to be a good one, the nations can also follow it. And of course bitcoins will gradually be recognized worldwide. And this can be the official currency of the world. But before this happens, bitcoins will face many challenges, many conversations. to make it a complete currency of a country

I can live comfortable in a country were bitcoin is the official currency be as it may I will ensure that I exchanges my bitcoin to fiat on regular basis to curb or most minimize it's instability, there are times when the prices go upward it will be to our benefit also when the price goes down as being experienced presently then it's to our disadvantage we just have to take and move on.

The price will not be this volatile if bitcoins were more evenly spread between more people. The whales are causing these massive price fluctuations. They manipulate the price by dumping massive amounts of bitcoins on the exchanges and also buying massive amounts of coins, when the price dropped. Yes, I will live in a country where I get paid in Bitcoin and where I can spend my coins in every shop.

You're right about the volatility. As is stands now, bitcoin could not be reliably used as a national currency. When more people in the world are involved in bitcoin, the price would be significantly more stable.
Bitcoin is strange in terms of privacy- it's fairly anonymous normally, but once your name has been associated with an address, it's easy to track your activity on a personal basis (and that information never goes away). You'd have to associate your name with addresses if you have to pay taxes or interact with the government. Employers would also know your address and potentially what you spend your money on.

the same i think it ll be more transparent and fast. in our real economy it s really fastidious and slow to pay administrations.. BTC will make things easier. But in other way we won't be abble to see who is behind the wallet .. kind of tricky

if we say all of our data in the use of bitcoin, this certainly will not work correctly, because some of us certainly use anonymous identitites in searching or earning from bitcoins, and this is certain, so even if we are required to link our bios. of course this will not go as expected

Obviously not , I will not change from country to country just because bitcoin will be official in that country. My country doesn't has any issues with bitcoin, so I am not gonna change my citizenship for that sole purpose. And it would be really hard to survive in an economy which will never be stable, cause who knows one minute you have a big profit and the next minute you are in a loss.

I love bitcoins but I wouldn't. Bitcoin can't be limited exclusively to just one country as official currency and I think that wouldn't work. Bitcoin is not designed as classic currency and it couldn't support any economy to normaly function so that country couldn't survive.

The question wasn't if there's a way to use it as an official currency but if YOU would choose to live in a country that does it. I would because it would've been fun to be able to transact in Bitcoin every day. To live in a country that doesn't give a damn about the world banking system and is so innovative to break free from them.

At present time, No. It's too volatile and if a country were to adopt the currency the difficulty problem would likely become so hard that the CPU power required would be incredibly environmentally destructive.

I do not think any country wants to use bitcoin as the official currency because of the unstable bitcoin value. I also do not want to live in a country that applies bitcoin as the official currency, it's too risk and vulnerable to hacker attacks.

I can not answer this question because the country has not yet officially announced the implementation of Bitcoin, but at the same time, the statement that national crypto currency can be created, as well as some online stores offer to use Bitcoin. This of course makes me happy.

A country with bitcoin as it's official currency is a concept that's not currently ready for the current world, as the demand for the currency would skyrocket, and it would require a few kinks to be worked out to make it convinient to use it for everday routines. Maybe in the future, but not now.

I don't want, we'll see the value of bitcoin is not stable, it is less efficient in my opinion if the official currency of a country. It could be that countries that apply bitcoin as the official currency will experience inflation from all sectors.
Well, I do not want also because we all know that the price bitcoin is volatile and any time it would change. In addition to that, I think bitcoin as currency is a also nice idea but we all know that price of bitcoin is not stable and I think it will accept as currency but not official currency.

Volatility isn't totally a bad thing. It depends how you look at it. You can lose if the price goes down, but you can also gain if it goes up. That said, I'd like to try living in a bitcoin based economy, even if only for a little while. Maybe somebody should turn a small town into a 100% bitcoin operated, just to see how it goes. I bet it would be popular among tech freaks like me.

would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
Yes, because a country that has legalized and used bitcoin as an official currency would be no doubt wealthy and a person will not undergo the hardest of work to earn money in the form of bitcoin. One would only need to participate online or do tasks required to acquire bitcoin. The value of bitcoin may go up or down but if a country is using it as the currency, the country would surely have a lot of marketplace with varying bitcoin values and a citizen of that country will have many options or choices to where he/she will exchange his/her bitcoin for greater value of payout.

Of course, i will live in a country that uses bitcoin as an official currency because my life will become more easier because i can use bitcoin to buy things and pay all the things that i will buy or use and that is only with use of my smartphone that has bitcoin in it and it is very convenient because i don't need to bring a thick wallet to just be ready for paying things up.

Yes I would I think it would be cool and the experience would be very awesome. And I think that there is a possibility for it to happen since we are now starting the era that most of the transaction are made online. Though the downside is bitcoin price is very volatile so you have to be very careful in spending your bitcoin.

Nowadays bitcoin has been circulating worldwide but not yet legalized in some countries. Living in a country to use as bitcoin as official currency is a difficult to adjust. You know bitcoin value fluctuates daily and it is not suitable for daily use to purchase good, and services. Moreover, I'm not ready for this implementation in case if this would happen.

Why not? It's a big YES if that is the case, considering that most people are now using cryptocurrencies in their transactions. And the matter about the currency going up or down by 20%? That's normal. Actually, in our country, our official currency just fell down by 25% in just 2 years. Bitcoin is still the most valuable cryptocurrency compared to all currencies around the world.

That is a big challenge with bitcoin, because of it's volatility character it's hard to become an official currency. In a sense that there are lot of things to consider before making as an official currency because it is a digital currency and can't be run smootly if there is something wrong with the system unlike local currency.

Yes its true, as an addition to volatility factor another thing that should be considered is the rate of transaction speed, as I see it now adays , its getting slower due to number of transaction and blockchain system deletes the transaction when it is not confirmed in the time specified and for me its risky when applied nationwide where almost every nanosecond a transaction occurs.

your question is quite theoretical though speaking of it, it is nice to live in a country having a bitcoin as currency but in my own opinion it is not advisable because of its volatility. Just imagine living in a country where your money changes value from time to time, it is disastrous for the market and the community because there is no stability exist.

Bitcoin is still too volatile and unpredictable for a country to adopt it as it's official currency, maybe in a few years when the value stabilizes and is adopted by a lot more people it could be considered as a normal currency.

Yes I would love to. Just make sure that they sell candies or icecream on cones and accepts bitcoin as a payment. It is possible to live in a country that totally accepts bitcoin but that must be hundred years from now. The world is not yet that prepared for bitcoin I guess because there are things that bitcoin cannot be used for. But I would love to live on that country and experience a life that does not need to pay paper money. There is no place for thieves because you are the only one who knows your bitcoin address.

Assuming it is really true, i still won't. Although the idea you are saying is quite tempting because I am one of the thousands who love crypto currencies and most specially bitcoin(not because of profit, but because of its rich history), i would still have to say no. Only if it is not in my country though. But if it ever happens here in my country, i would gladly live here. Because i love my country. Kinda sound unreal from a man at the age of 22, but believe me. I mean it. I cant imagine being anywhere else but here in my home. My country.

When I think about the best country for life, money (or bitcoin) is not the most important thing for such a decision. Other things like security, culture, language, education etc. are more important. Of course, it will be nice to live in the country where bitcoin is official currency but I'm also concerned about security for my kids.

Yes of course I would live in a country that use bitcoin as an official currency; it would help me to pay my bills, do groceries and even have some left with my salary to buy things I really need and some for savings. Why not and who wouldn't want that kind of life? I think less would be poor by then if that will really happen in a country, everyone would get to afford things they need daily but just as long as they work hard for it too.
I live in China and I prefer to use Yuan.

Yes of course especially when bitcoin become legalized by government. I can live in a country where bitcoin can olnly be ised because I already have it. And i think that was good especially when it uses as a payment because we dont need to convert our money into fiat to used it. But I think that impossible to happen because paper money was still ahead to bitcoin.

If we would consider to travel outside the country or to live in other countries. I would rather wait for the legality of Bitcoin on the country we I currently lived in becasue I think that is is quite hard to adopt to changes in terms of living in a new country. And in fact bitcoin can be used as a part of trading and investment in most of the countries with the used of wallet.

I think so, it would be nice to live in a country where digital currency is widely used or considered to be completely an official currency but we, as users we also need to consider those limitations of using digital currency especially when the internet connection or the Electricity in your area has interrupted due to natural disasters . due to some limitations of using bitcoin, I think it would be good only as an alternate to cash .

no, because i believe that is against bitcoin's true nature to be as official currency of a country. and such country should be first crazy and second have a pretty bad local currency themselves to want to get rid of it and adopt bitcoin in its stead.
sometimes some ideas sound good in your head but in reality they are worst that you think!

Probably not, because we were already accustomed to paying real cash and besides, the transaction fees for using bitcoin for our everyday expenses will cost us a lot. But if the price of bitcoin would really get high and the price of our daily needs will still remain the same when we are still paying paper money, then I think it would be great.

Although that is very unlikely, but yes I would like to live in a country that acknowledge Bitcoin as their official currency. One of my dreams that I'm sure will happen someday in the future. Well by the time Bitcoin got legalize internationally it won't be as volatile as it is now I think (and also won't be as cheap as now ).

I would actually live in that country if bitcoin is their official currency, there is nothing greater when you can invest with your money they may be pros and cons but it would be fun. It's just like investing when I need to buy something I'll buy in bulk if the rate is high so that I can buy more than what I want but if the rate is low, I won't buy anything and wait until the rate will come back but it totally depends on the person but I do think that it is hard for a country to have bitcoin as currency because of the fluctuation of the rate that means if the rate is down the economy of the country is also down. If bitcoin will get a stable rate I do think that it will be possible.

I don't want, we'll see the value of bitcoin is not stable, it is less efficient in my opinion if the official currency of a country. It could be that countries that apply bitcoin as the official currency will experience inflation from all sectors.
Well in fact there would be a time that bitcoin may dump its value and I think it is not a good idea that you didnt know that maybe half of your earnings has gome in a blink of an eye and I think that will creep us out, and since bitcoin dumps is it a good idea that if bitcoin dumps you will lose your money as well?

Yes, I will, that means that the country I am living was progressive at any means and they embrace changes. That will grow in the next years and for the future of the economy of the country even if the bitcoins are not that stable right now.

sure, I want to live in a country that formalizes bitcoin and uses bitcoin as the official currency ,,, because I wrestle in bitcoin that's what makes me want this ...
For me the bitcoin currency is one of the best currencies in the coming days still now if we look at the demand of the bitcoin that is growing very fast so it will become more popular. I can imagine the people who won good profit must be found the best profit in the bitcoin investment as the price in that country would be more that 4500$ so they are very lucky.

I don't have any problem in living in a country where Bitcoin is accepted as the official currency. The type of currency doesn't matter much for me. I just want to earn a regular salary from a full time job. I don't care whether I get this salary in the form of the United States Dollar or in the form of Bitcoins. Anyway, both can be exchanged. So what is the big deal?

If given a chance why not, as it would be easier and convenient to work yourself up with using electronic currency. It can also be noted that if a country's currency is btc then that country would have to be very technologically advanced to integrate it into their economy.

For me i dont want to live in the country that has only currency and that is bitcoin. Yes we can say that everything will be online and everything will be high-tech but we should still need the paper money to buy the thigs we want because i believe that we are not yet in the online community. I am now satisfied with what bitcoin is doing right now in our life.

yes, hopefully we can see it now in japan and sokor, since most of the people there always us the internet to buy stuff, it is also much safer since you don't need to carry around your wallet nor cash with you just to do transactions or to pay for your bills, we all can use our phones in order to do transactions, just by scanning the QR codes. recently there is already an electronic store in china that are no employees, the only thing you can get in touch with a person is when you ask help from their customer service and that is done through a teleconference between you and the customer service, if technology like this has already been made it will make cashiers from convenient stores will be obsolete, the store has security, if that will be the future, then it is safe to say that bitcoin will be the official currency of that country. as we all know mcdonald's is also doing innovations in some of their stores and soon they will also accept bitcoin as payment, since it is one of the dominant cryptocurrencies we have right now. I think that bitcoin being an official currency of a country, will make their citizens rich and all will have equality, if the government says all teacher should receive .01 bitcoin per month, all schools will follow, be it a private or public, and even athletes, no one will dare to ask for a higher talent fee, since they should be in it for the game, for the sports and not for money, since we all can see that most athletes today are just doing their sports without passion and are just waiting for endorsements, that's why they are being paid more than doctors, i think in that way, people will be paid fairly, since doctors saves lives and athletes play their passion. I think living in a world with bitcoin as official currency is just for all.

I would absolutely live in a country that has bitcoin as it's national currency, as long as it doesn't regulate it! Like the way Japan is currently, that's too much taxes.

Yes, it won't be good. It's better to live in a country where Bitcoin isn't even regulated. The taxes would be already a big issue for citizens of this country using Bitcoin as official currency, but another issue would be the unstable situation on the economy as Bitcoin is very volatile and "controlled" by an universal power, the supply and demand from everyone on the planet. It would be easy for a rival country to cheat your economy by influencing Bitcoin price.

Yes,definitely i could live in such a country where bitcoin is used as official currency. We could already see in japan where bitcoin is legalized, people find no difficulty in using bitcoins for their day to day needs.Volatility would not be a big issue since mostly bitcoin is found to be in bullish trend. When we find the price to be very low, then definitely,we would find some problems. But if both bitcoins and national currency are used as in japan, then it would not be an issue. We could either use bitcoins or national currency as per the market situation.

Don't you think that bitcoin will be more stable when even countries will accept it on the national level on every day usage? There must be an end to such volatility
If it’s as an official currency, then no way. I’m never living in such country. That’s even a crazy question. I prefer to live in a country with real currency and not virtual currencies; by the way, there will never be a country with such, because it’s a tech stock and is meant for investment.

Well things are changing with the passage of time. People are nowadays more interested in virtual concepts to bring them to physical shape. However countries have accepted Bitcoin as a medium of payment but have not recognized it as a currency which makes a little difference. Like Japan has accepted bitcoin but not as a currency to be used in government related transaction. I think Japan government will never accept the deal to be paid for any government project in bitcoin.

Yes it's mean for investment that help more people to increase their profit not it become an official currency on which can be affected by a group of person who can manipulate the market and make the price become up or down.

Bitcoin really does not need to be said to be the national currency for it to be used widely in a country, since it is decentralized as we all know. However it will definitely be nice in a country where i know that everyone else is also transacting with bitcoin and bitcoin is fully legal and a part of our economy, meaning that there will be no debt problems or periodic economic crises. Though i really doubt there are any of these countries out there or at least right now. Most governments seem to be quite hostile to bitcoin with of course a few exceptions.

if bitcoin becomes the official currency ,, and we have to use bitcoin when buying anything, it is not effective. because every time we transaction bitcoin there is a transaction fee ,, in small and large amounts the same cost, we will lose.
Yes, right. would be very inconvenient if every transaction is charged fee, besides it sometimes takes a long time. in urgent conditions, the ease of using cash is indispensable and irreplaceable.

my country has not used bitcoin yet. bitcoin has not been legally recognized in my country In fact, no country has ever accepted bitcoin. The government has not managed bitcoin, it is not illegal, but no country has used it. Its value fluctuates sharply, so it is hard for bitcoin to become an official currency

Bitcoin has some advantages to use as currency like it cant be steal unless someone have physical access to your computer and he send your bitcoin to their account, however for me im not ready for that i still prefer paper money because thats what i used to and i think people cant adjust easily using this virtual currency. nowadays everything became hitech but remember not all of us can adopt the current situation, just like what i saw in the news recently. here in our country the internet monthly bills are send via email but this old man complain for this scenario because he dont have email and he used to received it via post mail and its the same with bitcoin if it become official currency.

I would love to be in a place like that so I would have an experience where everything that I pay for, every transaction I will make, every bus, taxi, bus, or even air plane that I ride would accept bitcoin without any questions asked. But I think that’s not going to happen in the very near future as we are still living in afiat world and digital currencies are still very much subject to volatility.

yes I would, I will be glad to live on that country where the use of bitcoin as a currency is legalized, not just because it is easy to use, much more secure and fast transaction, and you will not have any hassle carrying coins on your packet. Why not? As long as all the basic needs are found there and I'm not going to think of jumping to another country because there are some goods that they don't have. It will be fun, as I'll buy some groceries, the bill would be mBTC. assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
It doesn't matter as long as the items does have fixed amount of bitcoins and I don't care if the currency goes up or down by 20%.

well i don't mind living in a country which use bitcoins as one of their official currency but i don't like the idea of complete digital currency in a country and i don't mind receiving my salary as bitcoins because i see it as form of investment and even if the rate goes down the other currency will have its own values and where as the downfall of bitcoins i believe that for every fall there will be a rise in the rate and decline in the price is not something which is new and permanent

it's just impossible to have a country that use bitcoin as an official currency. since bitcoin is a crypto currency that runs around the internet. the thing that is possible is a country that uses a coin similar to bitcoin. like uno coin of india but it's not their official currency.

Decide to move from our country is not easy, we have to adapt with the culture, language, weather and many more. It is not all about currency that we use. But I hope there are merchants in my area that accept bitcoin. So I do need to always bring my wallet with my pocket money in it, then I only need to bring my smartphone with online bitcoin wallet in it to buy something in my area, it is more practical. Bitcoin must be more stable than now to become the world main currency.

Since the value of bitcoin rises and falls it would be a chaos if it becomes an official currency. BTC should be BTC or what is it now. Doing it as a currency change something. Like for example, identification of a country since a certain country can also be identified through their currencies

Well it depends on what do you mean by OFFICIAL currency... if its official then it means that somebody is controlling it and that kind of beats the purpose of bitcoins... But if some country officially accepts that bitcoin is completely Legal without implying some silly norms to take the Bitcoin's spirit under control then yes definitely... but thats hardly unlikely to happen but we never know... one day bit coiners buy some island and name it Bitcoin nation... a decentralised blockchain country

would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
I like the idea of living in a country when bitcoin is accepted everywhere but i don't like the idea of having my regular salary with such a volatile currency. No economy can afford currency dumping 20% or more in just few hours.

of course I want that. although it has great consequences because I have to be strong if I see the condition of bitcoin prices are very easy to move. living in a country that accepted and acknowledged bitcoin officially of course a lot of benefits, will be many places and stores that receive payments via bitcoin. but bitcoin will be so familiar that it can help increase the bitcoin price in the country, I'm sure bitcoin prices in countries that recognize bitcoin will be much greater than in countries that have not made a decision on bitcoin. so I can easily work and earn a much better economy. this is a great happiness but I still hope that my country can recognize bitcoin because then I will have a higher level of nationalism. of course everyone wants to live happily and also they want to stay in their birthplace.

Bitcoin as official currency in a country? I think no. I would agree if Bitcoin would be a worldwide currency where everyone can use it, but if it is an official currency of a country, that may be hard because bitcoin is unstable. If bitcoin will be converted in our local currency that would be alright for me, because I convert my earned bitcoins regularly.

I think it will never happen. No country or government will allow it. Because Bitcoin is not money, it's only a digital asset that works as a currency and it is not tied to a bank or government.

It would be the best country, since the value of you coin would be different at all time.
Well that will be a huge problem for instantion, organization, or government that implement bitcoin as their currency, the volatility will bring them unstability to their economic. they can't determine how much money they have since the price always changing.

Definitely not! Let me tell you what I remember while I was studying my economics subject in college sometime ago. The basic yet one of the most important foundations the economy is money. The value of money is affected on how much gold reserves the country has. More gold means the higher the value of money. And that money must remain constantly high as much as possible for the economy to flourish. Since a country is represented by its currency there are few ways to devaluate it. Unlike what’s happening now to cryptocuurency since china’s ban on the ICO’s the value of bitcoin has been decreased. So if a country’s major currency is cryptocurrency the result will be a catastrophe. The economy of that country will fall leading to higher price of common commodities thus making it citizens suffer. But that won’t happen with gold because it value never depreciates and it is much safer to store gold in bullion reserve that can be retrieve anytime especially in times of crisis that gold is used to rescue the economy. Unlike crytpocurrency that is volatile and if the value quickly decreases just because of a simple banning of ICO by a country. So in short cryptocurrency will never replaced traditional money used by countries. But it doesn’t mean that cryptocurrency is bad for the economy the problem only problem is it cannot be stable for a long time like traditional currency. Never the less I love cryptocurrecy because it gives us much more opportunity than traditional currency.

I think it will never apply. anything you say will never be a question. because the impact of the unstable value will greatly affect the economy of a country.

I don't want to, at least until they found a solution for small transactions fee. The current problem with bitcoin is the fee is considered expensive for small transactions, and if i live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency, then i will have to make a lot of small transactions (to buy food, transportation fee etc) and i have to pay a lot for the fees.

Is this thing true or it is just you are from Venezuela and that you just want to share your insight from your country. Anyways I will always love to live in a country where bitcoin is the currency. Just make a little adjustment as to the price of all commodity and everything will be fine.

With official do you mean that we can pay daily expenses with bitcoin? If you mean this, i think that at this moment there isnt a country that accept bitcoin for daily expenses
I think the concept of bitcoin becoming an official current for a specific country mostly point out the openness of bitcoin in terms of transaction, investment and trading that allows people to get into Bitcoin in a more wider scale. Becasue they could actually earn and have profit out of bitcoin by using it as a form of currency or as a crypto-currency for future currency.

My answer is simply no,because the volatility of bitcoin price,it is not effective to use it as currency right now Even if it's a "currency",but it used as investment because of the price,so i like to stick with fiat with more stable condition

Just like all the other people said, it would be difficult because of the volatility, imagine if you have to pay 0.001 for a coke, and bitcoin is at $4000 so it will be worth $4... but you want to buy it tomorrow and bitcoin is at $4500, so the coke is going to be $4,5. The only way to make it possible is to adjust the price in bitcoins to usd value. But it is a good idea, but it will take years for people to acostumbrate to it if it happens.

Of course! We all know that bitcoin is a digital currency and based on my experience when using bitcoin in some transaction and we always have the best experience. And I think it would be amazing to have a life with that because some of my earnings are all in btc so I think I would rather spend it all there.

There's always advantages and disadvantages of using bitcoin. We always avoiding long confirmation and this is one disadvantages of bitcoin.

Wondering if would be possible to create one or more stable Cryotocurrencies and pegged Bitcoin price to them instead of the dollars. Would love to see such country independent of fiat to serve as perfect model for others to copy.

it's just impossible to have a country that use bitcoin as an official currency. since bitcoin is a crypto currency that runs around the internet. the thing that is possible is a country that uses a coin similar to bitcoin. like uno coin of india but it's not their official currency.
I am waiting to hear this news very much anxiously. I am very much positive that thing will happen in any country in the very near future. As far as living in that country is concerned, I personally will love to live in the country where Bitcoin will be used as official currency. I think this will be the best place to live at that time.

Living in a country where use of bitcoin is legal will be best thing because at some point we all have a doubt that government might ban use of bitcoin and we will never be able to use it as official currency as then banks will also deny the conversion in the local currency and so on. But getting paid in bitcoin and no other currency then bitcoin could be problem because of its volatile characteristic, so Bitcoin being legal with local currency is a measure government should adopt for their citizens.

Thinking about this now, I don't think I am not able to live in a country where official currency is Bitcoin. Why? Because it isn't stable. If its value always goes up and down, what will happen in the future? My risk appetite isn't in the stage yet where I can trust my children's future to Bitcoin. I want something that has a solid value, something that I can put in my pocket and spend anytime and doesn't involve transaction fees and an internet whenever I use.

Living in a country that use as bitcoin to a official currency is a difficult to adjust. I think bitcoin as currency is a also nice idea but we all know that price of bitcoin is not stable its value fluctuates daily. I think it will accept as currency but not official currency and it is not suitable for daily use to purchase good, and services.Nowadays bitcoin has been circulating worldwide but not yet legalized in some countries.

But sad to say it is hard to implement, especially when people are still not accepting or they still didnt notice the use or benefits of bitcoin. Well, back to the topic, living in a country that uses bitcoin as currency I think it would be good. At least you wouldn't carry your money in cash, you will have assurance that it wouldn't get snatch or holdup.

Although bitcoin is very profitable and high value, I am not interested in living in a country that uses bitcoin as the official currency. It's too risky because bitcoin is the currency that requires internet connection, I'm afraid if the state that applies bitcoin as the official money is attacked by hackers and all the bitcoin stolen from the country. It was a nightmare.

for me. I will not stay in a country where the official currency is bitcoin. Because for me many people will complain about the fee they are supposed to transact with bitcoin to pay for something you can buy at a mall or at a department store. for me it's not good for bitcoin users.maybe this is the reason why bitcoin breaks down. This is my only point of view brothers.

This is a dream of every bitcoin user to live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency . The payments will be made by using bitcoins . There will be no tactics of banks and so on . But this is not possible because of many reasons . Bitcoin is highly volatile , its prices goes up and down with in a fraction of hours . There are many spams associated with bitcoins . All this will really affect a country's economy . That is why making bitcoin an official currency is a decision which will never be taken by any country's government.

I would. Because now it turns out that I have Bitcoin but I do not have real money that can be used. Because the restaurants and shops in my country do not accept Bitcoin. I believe that in the future it will change and bitcoin will be legalized. But on the other hand, there are some disadvantages of this. Because if Bitcoin will be the official currency, then the government will be able to control it and introduce taxes.

I don't think it will happen anyway because bitcoin has a higher value compare to our currency, I can't imagine what will happen if it would become a currency of one country. If it will happen maybe all countries are doing the same. I can't picture it out really. It's hard. I would rather prefer to be just like now as a cryptocurrency that helps us financially.

Why not and who wouldn't want that kind of life? I think less would be poor by then if that will really happen in a country, everyone would get to afford things they need daily but just as long as they work hard for it too.
I think I would also live in a country where bitcoin was officially legalized and currency. In addition to that, I think it is quite convinient and we all know that it is very easy to use and bitcoin become official currency you can easily pay all your payment like paying bills and many more.

I think making bitcoin or crypto-currency as the official currency is a bad thing, because the government can use it to monitor every transaction of its people, isn’t we have right to privacy for what we do?

I wouldn't like to live in a such country, not yet. I think it's still too early. I really like spending Bitcoin using my phone but hardly any shop in my area accepts Bitcoin as a payment. Bitcoin still needs to be developed. We need more transactions per second. Also, we need to teach more people how does this technology work. It would prevent situations like "Someone stole my money" or "I can't chargeback!". They have to be aware how does this system works.

I don’t think I would want to live in a country that use Bitcoin as an official currency, because of many factors especially Bitcoin is digital currency, what if electricity in your area go down, will you move to another city just to buy some foods when you are starving?

No, in my country Bitcoin isn't yet legalized or official currency, but so many people (especially the ppl interested about working online) earn it here in my country.
I think very little number of countries legalized Bitcoin until now.

It’s possible that Bitcoin system has made it easier for daily use, on a large scale and reduced or eliminated fees due to the government's validation process, but it must also be accompanied by adequated infrastructure support and readiness of people to face a new issue. But if we talk about infrastructure, must be not separated from the tax, well if bitcoin is applied where the government will get taxes from? Is it from fee mining?

Unfortunately in my country only a minority of people knows what is the bitcoin, to do this I can not even imagine this paradise life. Otherwise, you're right in the fact that a curruncy of a country can not have a pretty unstable value like the bitcoin, to vary by 20% in a single day, but I think the bitcoin experts will find a solution .

This would be pretty funny actually, if by official currency we mean a regular national currency that is used within a country to settle debts and trades. Overall it would definitely increase the purchasing power and savings of whoever held money in that country since bitcoin has so far increased in value over the long term, albeit with significant fluctuations. I suspect that it could wreak havoc with international trade, however, because importers and exporters in such a country might be hesitant to immediately settle trades when the value of their goods could rise or fall significantly within a few days simply due to volatility in the exchange rates of their currency versus the other national currencies of their trading partners.

I don't want to, because it is too risky, when the advantage approaches us is very good, if the opposite happens, it will make you fall poor on a black hole. and what you say will never happen.

I think it will never happen. No country or government will allow it. Because Bitcoin is not money, it's only a digital asset that works as a currency and it is not tied to a bank or government. Decentralization is its main advantage and it helps people to make money and living in such country whose official currency is bitcoin is awesome and no one will refuse to live in such a place where every payment method is digitalized and I am sure if some country will declare it as official currency everyone will want the passport of that country.

it's just impossible to have a country that use bitcoin as an official currency. since bitcoin is a crypto currency that runs around the internet. the thing that is possible is a country that uses a coin similar to bitcoin. like uno coin of india but it's not their official currency.
I am waiting to hear this news very much anxiously. I am very much positive that thing will happen in any country in the very near future. As far as living in that country is concerned, I personally will love to live in the country where Bitcoin will be used as official currency. I think this will be the best place to live at that time. A country that adopted bitcoin to that extend will benefit immediately since many people will go there and visit it or may even decide they want to live there for the rest of their lives.

In my opinion, bitcoin as an official currency will not be effective because of its stability. If i were to answer the question, i'd say i would not. There will come a time that your hard-earned money will not be of much value and its purchasing power will become less. It is bad when in critical situations. Though i say i would not, i also look for the positive side of it. bitcoin value becomes greater as times goes by and if you belong to those people who can invest and save money, bitcoin is a good currency to begin with.

Any actual currency whether they are green rag money beared out with nothing, or franks, beared out with everything - these are simulacrums. In that sense bitcoin doesn't differ from them. But I really like the idea of decentralized emitents as opposed to central banks.

When you get attracted of something specific in a country language will no longer be an barrier. Automatically one can overcome such issues. Maybe it will be difficult at the early days of getting shifted towards the new environment and in a short everything happens as if we're in our hometown. So when such an availability is found, surely will make plans of moving to the respective country.

No,my country don't use bitcoin as official currency.official currency means that, daily expense with bitcoin and paying payment every day activities. but no.in my country we can't do that with bitcoin.
You took it in different way. Question was asked as the choice to be taken whether you want to live in a country where there is bitcoin as official currency. Still, I am a wisher to live in such a country where you can earn bitcoins, can go for shopping while having a bitcoin credit card, bitcoin ATMs, bitcoin banks and everything for bitcoins.

If not in near future then in far future, bitcoin is going to become official currency of many countries for sure. By watching its present progress, it is easy to predict this. More and more people are investing in it and many businesses are also accepting it as a payment. One day, we will be using it in all sort of financial matters. Bitcoin is going to take over all the other currencies.

There are not going to be many countries like that where you can use bitcoin freely it is probably going to be one of those countries with very low population but as long as they have a good weather and decent infrastructure I could live there with no issues.

Well I think I will. There will be regulations about that and the salary that I may get will change also depending on the rate. What I mean is, if the rate will go down significantly then I think there will be adjustments also in the salary. Well, if that would be the norm then I may abide to it.

I think it will not be possible that bitcoin will be the main currency of a certain country. There are so many disadvantages you will face when it is the main currency use. Every transaction you had made cost fee of 2$ minimum. Is it ok to you when you are only buying a candy? Its better if physical fiat will still be the main currency.

Bitcoin is a criptocurrency that available only 21 million in the world it's very limit when many people looking for bitcoin so the price is fluctuative. this is difficult to happen if we want to buy an item with a currency that fluctuative value we can not ensure the price of the goods. the price will be change every moment.

I would say i will love to stay in that country where cryptocurrency is used as official currency not bitcoin only because bitcoin is not yet stable to be used as a sole currency.
Also the other factors like internet if we dont have internet we wont be able to use it. so there is a lot of improvement innovations required to make digital currency as a sole currency.

I think so, because bitcoin the price is unstable can go up and down sometimes very high but the tour is also not severe once we can take advantage of this moment.the time high bitcoin price we can buy whatever we want and menyetok many personal needs.and at plummet we save first, waiting for the price to rise again

Should there be a country that uses bitcoin as the main exchange for services or products, I would probably leave that country and transfer to another due to various reasons. First, bitcoin itself is very volatile and decentralized in nature. Meaning, its price varies ever single minute and this might result to a change on the prices of goods every now and then without sudden notice. Second, in the event that bitcoin value's falls, then I guess that massive inflation would likely be the case on that country. Lastly, payments being digitalized will always be subject to hacking and scamming which would tarnish its name on the long-run.

This a dream of every bitcoin user , investor and trader . The headache of changing their bitcoin into fiat currency will go and they will be able to pay their bills , shop and eat by directly using their bitcoins . Every bitcoin user would love to live in such country . The questions raised by banks on the high transactions will not be a reason to worry for them if bitcoin gets legalized.

My country's central bank has not yet approved the Bitcoin. But I hope that Bitcoin will be valid in my country very soon. And of course we will use bitcoin as official currency.

If I am paid in bitcoin and be able to spend in bitcoin then I wouldn't be affected much by the fluctuating prices because the fluctuations are in fiat price. If I don't have any other option but bitcoin then I can live with that. It would still be normal like how I am using fiat now. The transaction fee in the network is the taxes. The consideration is that I can't be disconnected to the internet because I can't have transactions then if I don't have access to the network.

This is just a hypothetic question because in real life this wouldn't be possible but no, I wouldn't. Bitcoin isn't a type of currency that you can build economy on, especialy not the stable one. This would be a disaster. That is the main reason, not the fees, transactions time and taxes. But I don't believe that bitcoin was ever ment to be as official currency in any country in the world and that wouldn't be good for bitcoin at all.

I think they can adopt bitcoin and add it to the local fiat and should be fine together rather than have bitcoin as the main currency because controlling it will be difficult since it is not centralized and so inflation and other macro economic principles cannot be regulated to suite the livelihood of the local people.

I will think this twice if given that it is bitcoin. Because of bitcoins volatility who would to be a millionaire yesterday and not as you wake up doing nothing but sleep. If there would be a currency stable well that can be, internet i think is not a problem for the network can run on just network.

would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency?
assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
First of all thats not possible to acquire to bitcoin as official currency in a country. But, lets assume that it happens in reality then yes I will surely visit such country and will spend some time of my life. It wouldn't matter of the prices are fluctuating because everyday will be different in the way I will make purchases of things. May be one day I might get a ride at BTC = 0.0001 but the other day it could be BTC = 0.00001 so it wont matter as I will have my salary fluctuated in the same way the bitcoin prices are fluctuating. It will take time to adjust but things can be made possible.

I prefer not to live in that country, cause that country is as same as where I live now, bitcoin in our country its value is very high its about 350k so my money is lesser value, so if I convert bitcoin in my own country money Its very high profit for me so I prefer to live in a country that bitcoin is an option to buy and sell items not the main currency that we are using.

Why not, I dont see any difference from other currencies, if bitcoin would have been legalized in that country and made an official currency. I dont think that course would have fallen by 20% in this country, then people would start striking and holding rallies. Yes, and growth rate lets say on the same 20% government would not have allowed.

I prefer not to live in that kind of country. it's okay if the value of btc is fix or if they will pay me in a fix price then the value of btc is fix I could live there but as of now that btc is not stable I preferred to use fiat money rather than to use a btc it maybe easy for a transaction but it's hard when it comes to getting your salary in a btc you don't it maybe as high as you want but also low as it is.

No, I won't live a country that uses bitcoin as their local currency because you pay fees and you wait for the transaction. And how can the government will maintain the country if there is no taxes to pay? you know this is my dream that one day i will live in the country where bitcoin will be used as official currency but in real i am not living in that country because the government of my country feels fear in trusting bitcoin thats why.

I don't think its a good idea to live in a country that uses bitcoin as official currency because of the volatility nature of it. The salary of the citizens will probably become affected specially if the value goes down. And also the prices of the goods will also get affected once the price goes up they also become very expensive. I don't like to live like that.

I wont because bitcoin is volatile. What if your have already receive your salary but the bitcoin value suddenly decreases? Would you ask your employer for additional bitcoin because it doesnt meet your monthly salary? How bout if the internet will gone including the electricity? Would you still able to buy food and other things for your family need? So i say it very impossible to bitcoin will replace fiat, it will be limited to use it for investment to earn paper money.

Well, yes why not but I really don't want one and only option to pay for the goods and services. Especially if we are talking about the currency that is based on the internet (the technology which might or might not work in natural calamities) so if the country has other payment options, then I would love to live in such country even if the primary currency if Bitcoin. However, the situation is changing rapidly and we will see Bitcoin in mainstream within next 5 to 10 years from now in major countries.

I just dealt with a law firm. I paid the fees with a credit card. They charged me $30 to handle the payment. All I can think of was: I wish I could've paid this in bitcoin.
Sure I will live in such a country where bitcoin is using as official currency because it can help a lot I can earn a lot of bitcoins there and then I will send to my home country and I know the price of bitcoin in my country it will change my whole family life and I think there is possibility to do so in coming time I wish that it come true.

I can't quite imagine how that would work from the economical point of view. I mean, I think that it may in a way become an isolated country, which means that the bitcoin has no real value. That a loaf of bread would almost always cost let's say 0.01btc, because it would be weird if the prices were adjusted based on all of the price fluctutations and if they were static, it could happen that an apple could cost few hundred dollars, because of price changes.

Maybe, Bitcoin can be used for payment in some case. But I don't think that most people will use a coin that will increase in few weeks for payment. They will prefer to store it likes an asset.

If you mean a country where bitcoin is an accepted currency, but it's also possible to use a regular one, like the US Dollar per say, then yes, I would live there, I would pay for the bare necessities with real money and buy some more expensive ones with bitcoin. If we're talking about a country where the only accepted currency for every service is bitcoin, then no. It's way too convoluted for it to become comfortable to pay with bitcoin for stuff like food, small bills, heating et cetera. If the process was a bit more straightfoward, then we could talk seriously about such a decision.

I would instantly move to this country, but unfortunately such a country doesn't exist. In the past the fiat money price of bitcoin has steadily increased and if you are paid in bitcoin for example since 2 years then you made a huge profit. Even if the bitcoin price goes down for 20% temporarily it's still better then the fiat money that regularly loses 10% every year. You have to see the living in such a country long-term and not short-term. I would not mind living in a country like that if it existed but I simply do not have the money to do so, a country like that is probably going to be very expensive and I can barelly afford living in my country.

I agree with you. That is what the people will do because they don't want to lose the opportunity and they want to preserve that coin that is like the gold that its price is keep on increasing year by year and they were going to stick with the paper money or the fiat currency because that fits to their needs for the daily basis rather than losing the opportunity of something by using it like bitcoin.

Well, we'll have trouble if the little things only need to pay with Bitcoin, unless we buy Bitcoin's worth of goods it may be very easy, but we also live in the real world that still need paper money, maybe if my country has legalized Bitcoin as well. just in use for the exchange of paper money, let's look at japan which really legalize Bitcoin for payment method and still many people need paper money for daily life, so the government want to legalize or not functioning as fixed medium of exchange. .

I am living in a country where bitcoin is not that popular. Bitcoin is a strange word for more than 50% of our population. Those who know bitcoins think it as a internet scam or fraud. We have bitcoin exchanges in our country but they popular only in limited cities. It is not possible for bitcoin to replace fiat currency in day t day transactions. Transaction in paper currency is free from transaction charges, however if bitcoin become our official currency we have to transactions charges on each trade? In my country it is not convenient to carry internet backed mobile wallets everywhere for pity transactions. Official status of Bitcoin for any country is possible only when it is regulated by the government of that country.

I think it would be a great idea to have that country. We need fees to be a lot cheaper first though as buying things that are less than 100USD is actually more expensive to use BTC if we are going in from USD there is a fee + miner fee spending the BTC too. We need to get rid of things like that and increase theblock size a bit so it doesn't happen(or people need to use segwit transactions more).

Living in a country that uses bitcoin as official currency would require a country with constant power supply, and internet efficient; basic and essential factors you need to make transactions possible. In absent of these, transactions becomes difficult, which would not be good in cases of emergencies.

I would live in a country that uses both the digital and fiat currency. But as for only digital currency, I don't think so; because unlike the fiat currency that has a direct access of usage at no transaction fee, the digital currency requires the use of internet which would sometimes have difficulties when you want to make a transaction.

I will surely live in that country and i also believe that it is possible. We are now on the digital age and it is surely possible that in the future, digital currency including Bitcoin will be more often used since we are now more on technology. There are already countries that made cryptocurrency and bitcoin legal as a currency and i think more countries will do the same on the next years to come.

Yes it is not good to use digital currency only as payment method because there are many issues in digital currency that are needed to resolve just like the anonymous transaction that are needed to limit in order to avoid using it to illegal activities and also the ability to use it because bitcoin transaction can be used only in online transaction and many people didn't have a chance to use internet because of lack on knowledge on how to use it. It is good when all of the people become ready to this changes and use it easily as a payment method.

If I have countless of btc in my wallet, why not? But, no I wouldn't want to live in a country that has no fiat and uses only btc as their currency. I will never feel safe using btc as a daily medium of exchange. Everything I bought will be reflected on a public ledger and that's kind of creepy. Also, people who own lots of btc can be easily targeted by criminals. I'd rather have btc used side by side with fiat.

I won't be living in a country that uses bitcoin as their official and only currency because I think it will not be helpful for me now especially bitcoin's price is high, and it is hard to buy one. Also, we all know that bitcoin is volatile. For me, it will be hard living like that because it suddenly changes and you will also have a hard time budgeting money.

That would be not matter if bitcoin's price go up or down, cause of nobody would exchange that on dollars or any other currency. So, yes, I would like to live in such country, but I doubt that the life there would be different from any other country.

All our wealth is digital money without any FIAT currency? No, I don't want to lose all my money in one day. So many factors make it all scary, such as that criminals get bigger and the internet can die anytime. We don't know but it could happens, right? I prefer to live in a country with fiat currency and Bitcoin so I can trade them and convert them to fiat currency any time.

I think if that country uses bitcoins as their main currency then it wouldn't matter much when the price goes down then that countries good and commodities will adjust to the price of bitcoins and so does the salary and everything. I think the amount of bitcoin used in that country would adjust based on the price of the market just as how the cost of living varies from different country with different currencies do.

Currently some countries are using bitcoin as a currency like Japan. But for my country bitcoin is still strange for everyone. Some bad news about bitcoin has made people's beliefs about bitcoins not good. The government has no policy to encourage the development of bitcoin. I heard that in 2018 my country will ban mining. This is a sad news for me in particular and for all bitcoin users

Yes, I am willing to live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency. Even the currency goes up and down, the use of currency will be also the same because the market price of the goods will just go with the flow of currency.

Having an official currency that changes its value every second is hard because we can't trace the exact amount of a certain thing that we will going to buy. Also, I think no country will use bitcoin as their official currency because its price is not stable. Bitcoin is a good currency which having an increasing rate so many people want it but making an official currency makes bitcoin hard to adopt for us so I think I can't live to a country that will make bitcoin an official currency.

in my country the bitcoin is not allowed and not legalized by the government if used as a currency-like exchange, I consider it a government effort to keep the currency of my own country and not fall and economic crisis.

Yes, I am fan and user of bitcoin but having bitcoin as official and only currency in the country doesn’t seem that good at all. If bitcoin will be considered as another official currency for a certain country where it can be used as one of the mode of payments and transfer then it is better. Since bitcoin has highly fluctuating value, the economy of the country will be highly affected. For me we should still consider bitcoin as digital and additional currency but not the only currency that will prevail in a country.

I would like for that to happen but there might be some modifications. first the country must make a wallet (semi decentralized) that you can send money from your country to country with no fee or small fee. like what we have here on the philippines we are using coins.ph

live in a country that uses bitcoin as the official currency? I think that would be difficult, why ?, because we know that bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone. this must be regulated, there must be another currency used as a reference, for example USD or EURO, so when bitcoin prices rise or fall will not affect the value of the sale and purchase price, or when making any payment.

would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? After reading this, I'm just like "Where do I sign up?" In a country where bitcoin is the official currency, then people all know about bitcoin. That means literally every single person that's in there shares the same interest as I do. Since they had the guts to move there, that means that they really do love bitcoin. Another thing, a lot of bitcoin users love computers and most of the people in that country would probably be in front of their computer 24/7 just doing bitcoins or something. I really want to befriend a computer geek since I, myself, is interested in computer and bitcoins and I have never found a single person in my area that's the same. Most people here are like people from the past. No one's really techhy at all, and if there is, they are too big-headed to converse with a regular guy like me. People are basically either too poor or acting too rich in my place. Some people here are being problematic about the Internet usage. That makes me confused. In a country where bitcoin is the official currency, it is obvious that the whole country has an Internet connection because otherwise, then that will not be a country that has bitcoin as an official currency. There might be some places where there's no connection like off-the-grid places but obviously you're not going to have a transaction in that place unless you are doing something so shady.

if bitcoin becomes an officiall currency in the country maybe its more happy to live with, because its more convinient and less hasle in terms of our daily lifestyle every transaction is easy to do the value of bitcoin change from time to time, many people in the community lessen the poor they can afford what they want as long as they workhard for getting the bitcoin.

is all place in the country use bitcoin as the payment maybe i will join that country, we don't afraid about the bitcoin price will go down and go up. and then the price of bitcoin will stable than now because people in that country use bitcoin as the payment, so the price in international will stable
Yeah in my country the use of the bitcoin has become very easy because a lot of the people are buying the bitcoin and the bitcoin will be the best currency at the same time, I hope the bitcoin will increase the value and the price I hope in the future a lot of the people will buy the bitcoin and this is the reason why all the people are getting in the bitcoin and I can see the bitcoin future getting brighter.

Yes of course I would like to live in a country that uses bitcoin as their official currency. And the country needs to be progressive and high-tech because everyone would need to adapt, even saleswoman at the market who sells fruit, she would need to accept payment in bitcoin.I think it would be really awesome.

I would love to live i. a country where Bitcoin is legal as a currrncy. In that way, i will be able to use Bitcoin as a real currency and as an investment at the same time. With that, I will earn huge profit and also will be able to make use of the advantages of Bitcoin. Hoping that in the near future, more countries will make bitcoin legal so that more people will experience the benefits of Bitcoin.

But our central bank and legislative house is currently studying bitcoin and the whole crypto world. They might impose more regulations in the near future. Taxes is what hurts most if in case they will implement highers taxes at this. Too much volatility on Bitcoin price is what makes it hard to be widely accepted by large companies.

I don't want to live im country that only uses bitcoin as their official currency. It is hard to imagine a place where paper money are useless and digital currencies are the one with value. We got used to paper money and for me it will be a hassle in some ways if we use digital currency for every single transactions we are doing.

Absolutely yes, Usually the payouts in campaign's are delay but its ok as long as the value is very high and the job they are producing is consistent. There are some country that are using crypto currency in their transactions like buying goods, One of the example is dubai, Some of the restaurants over there are accepting bitcoins.
But still, it is hard to rely only on signature campaigns. Even if it is consistent, you are not sure if you will always get accepted in every campaign you applied for. Another thing is that we all know Bitcoin's price is volatile and as of now, we don't have any solution for that problem. My point is, it is still better to live in a country where you can use both fiat money and digital currencies together.

f bitcoin becomes the official currency ,, and we have to use bitcoin when buying anything, it is not effective. because every time we transaction bitcoin there is a transaction fee ,, in small and large amounts the same cost, we will lose.and also if internet shutdown .then we can do anything.if we use bitcoin as an official currency we are dependable on internet.which is not satisfied.

Since i support the idea of bitcoin, im willing to live in a country that uses bitcoin as their official currency. Transaction of money will not be a problem anymore since bitcoin has the capability to send and receive money in an easy and secured way. Also, we can gain profit with the bitcoin that we have since its price is unstable. We can trade our bitcoin if its price go high and harvest our profit.

a country should have an official local currency but if there is such a territory it seems rather risky because of the changing currency value. I think with the many users of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin it would interest if lived in a place like that.

Being a digital currency, I would say no, due to the challenges attached to it as a result of the internet usage
The digital currency is now very famous and all the people are trusting the digital currency I know now that as much as the bitcoin will get famous the bitcoin price and the worth will get high and the bitcoin price will increase so this is the time to have the valuable bitcoin and for sure the coming time is the time of the crypto and the digital currency so I know the bitcoin and the income of the bitcoin will increase more and more.

If this happen what have you been discussing in regards to the fluctuation of price might be not possible when a country level is using a single crypto currency because the level of adaptation is reach and opposition to the usage will relatively becomes low that the acceptance will prevail over the opposition.

This is because their nature is decentralized and hence the price is dollars is entirely dependent upon the investment and shares in this market. Any currency with such a high rate of volatility could not be used by the countries for the official setup. All that is possible is the use of bitcoins openly in a country and without any ban.

You are asking "Do you want to be rich?" If there would be a country that addopts bitcoin before any other nations, then bro, that's the best deal you can get.

As long as I am able to get a good full time job, I will be more than happy to move to this country. But there are some concerns though, such as crime rate, taxes, capital gains, individual liberty.etc. In my own country (Singapore) I don't face much trouble in using Bitcoin. So I am not that desperate to move to another nation. But still, if Bitcoin becomes official, it will be a very attractive option.

Well if bitcoin is used as an official currency, it will be no different than the paper money that we are using now! The transaction fee for every transaction can be treated equivalent to the taxes that we currently pay. In essence things will be same even if bitcoin becomes the official currency of any country! But then again only time can tell what will really happen

I agree with zalfa. Btc as a currency wouldn't be efficient. You either save up or trade and transfer btc to your wallet and cash out your earnings or savings. Time frame for approvals is also a factor why its hard to make btc an actual currency. Everybody can use it but just not for daily use.

Yes, that would be amazing because nowadays we use digital currency as payments and to buy other materials online. It is now easy to pay the bills online using digital currency. The country that uses cryptocurrency will also became successful because the more that uses bitcoin the more it will be in demand the more the price will increase every day. So we can live in an easy payment life and other things that uses online payments.

If that country considers everything on a fixed rate of coins rather than being dependent on its equivalent fiat currency, it won't be a issue. But if the value is measure based on fiat currency everything would be a total chaos due the price fluctuations. Paying for goods and services is going to be really hard.

So much complicated requirement to be a citizen is already waiting ahead, I'd prefer still staying in my country and keep on using bitcoin because it's not considered as illegal. I can just use it freely as what those countries that recognise bitcoin as their official currency but maybe less acceptance in real life, but doesn't affect that much, everything can be done through online shopping.

I believe that the answer of every bitcoiners should be in the affirmative. We all understand how bitcoins work and have in one way or the other enjoy it's numerous benefits. Why then would I not want to live in a country where bitcoin is made the official currency. In such country, the general acceptability of bitcoin, which was once one of the limiting factors of bitcoins, has been made possible which then makes transactions more easier. The cashless policy of bitcoin is another reason to live in such a country, as this ensure safe and secured transactions one person to the other.

Is this possible? maybe if the government of that country can maintain the presence of the power supply. what if the power supply came out what will happen. People will go crazy and and it will become a crisis to that country. and it will ruin their economy for ever.

I don't think that it is possible. Imagine living in a place where money goes up ang down by almost 10 % in a matter of minute or day! business and other establishment cannot cope up with the changing value. even the government will have a problem managing its currency. What I can imagine is for the bitcoin to become a secondary currency where people has a choice.

For me yes and that would be so great because I do not need to sell our bitcoins into some guy t just get the money. But I do not wanted our country's currency to vanished I just wanted for the bitcoins to be accepted as a payment in all the stores so whenever I do not have a cash bitcoins will be the one I will pay to them. Having them is like a life saver it is more convenient than credit cards because their value can rise up or down but we more likely to see them rise up.

I think no, the life there will be hard especially if the internet got shutdown. We can’t get money to spend. And also the price of bitcoin is not stable so it can be trouble if the price of bitcoin goes down and you are working there so much then you will be paid less than you really need to earn.

Yes indeed I will live in such a country where bitcoin is using as a official currency because the price of bitcoin is very high in my country and I’m sure when I earn in bitcoin so I will send all my money to my home land and I will exchange this money in to my currency and I will get a huge amount of money so yes I will stay there.

I would like to receive half of my wages in bitcoins. In everyday problems I would use dollars. But for large purchases or for travel to another country would use bitcoin. Cash in my opinion is required. Suddenly, communication or the Internet will disappear and you will not be able to pay with a credit card or transfer bitcoin. You will have to wait until they fix the problem. I've been in situations where there were problems with payments and cash saved the situation.

Why not? Living in the country which recognizes bitcoin as an official standard currency or official medium for exchange is great opportunity that should everybody take it. It’s a bunch of blessing when it happens. Your money in bitcoin circulates in the system which provides you instant passive income without exerting too much effort.

I don't think that it will work like that because if there is country that only accept bitcoin as an official currency then it will be impossible to have a peace of mind in that country since bitcoin is volatile so there will be no price and the place will just be on a chaotic mode because people will be on panic in using bitcoin as an official currency.

Yes, why not. For me, bitcoin will help us. So why not to live in the country that the bitcoin is the currency. Because bitcoin is very useful. You can pay your bills using bitcoin thru internet. And someday, maybe we used to buy our favorite gadgets, clothes, shoes, and other's.

Using a currency that changes its value every seconds? Is that odd? If a country relies 100% on cryptocurrency, they would not have a good system. People instead of purchasing choose not to because of the profit. No, i wont live on that country.

Yes. However the fluctuating value of bitcoin is seemed like a person working in another country with a higher exchange rate and spend the money he earned in his own country with lower or higher rate. It’s only a matter of discipline of wise spending

I forsee that the day is drawing near where the first country will use bitcoin as an official currency. But in order for that to happen bitcoin must first be stable like gold and silver for example. Otherwise even if the country fully adopt bitcoin, businesses may not have the courage to deal fully in bitcoin. As to the question whether i will be willing to live in that specific country; yes, but only with a bitcoin and with a stable rate.

No, I won't live a country that uses bitcoin as their local currency because you pay fees and you wait for the transaction. And how can the government will maintain the country if there is no taxes to pay? Yah mate, your thinking is hundred percent right because every person who hold the Bitcoin want to earn maximum profit. So those people who know about Bitcoin want to invest in it. So when they buy Bitcoin they have to wait for some years. They keep their Bitcoin with them and when the right time comes in other words, the Bitcoin has achieved its target they sale Bitcoin. And to do so they earn more profit and support their families.

I would live in a country that uses both the digital and fiat currency. But as for only digital currency, I don't think so; because unlike the fiat currency that has a direct access of usage at no transaction fee, the digital currency requires the use of internet which would sometimes have difficulties when you want to make a transaction.

I probably would. I think I'd consider that country as the future of the world. It is true that it may be expensive living there because the currencies value is huge as well. Still, living in a country where technology is considered to be advanced as well as the mode payment is more internet accessible rather than the FIAT system that we have.

Since the price of bitcoin is extreemly unstable, it is not good to be official currency, bitcoin only good for online payment. But if its happen, bitcoin price will increase, it will be so expensive.

Yeah you are right because we need in this society a very stable marketing of money like dollars well in the other side bitcoin is okey and bitcoin really great today but what about if there are great dump of bitcoin we make it as our currency in one country there are big possibilities that our economics also are being dump because of this bad case. So, I will choose between this kind of situation I am much more prefered on using money now and wait for the coming stable market of bitcoin.

I'll do it if they still include fiats like dollars and euro. And also bitcoin can be treated as a global currency so it doesn't matter if a country declared it as their official currency or not.

Eventually, in a few decades, we all will live in such a country you described. And the ups and downs you mention - this is happening as Bitcoin is treated as Investment, not as a regular currency right now. With the proper time, Bitcoin price will go stable, no worries.

I think everyone would be glad of this opportunity, because some people are restrained by the fact that the cryptocurrency is illegal and they don't use it...and they will be able to prove themselves fully if it would be official

even i have a lot of bitcoin, i wont live in such that country because i feel that is such a waste to use bitcoin in a country which the market price depends on bitcoin, i will never know when it rise or drop, so i may not buy something if in one day the price of that product rise and drop suddenly.

would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
Hi there CrypTrends! You have point in there, it is somewhat crucial to send and even received payment when the value is keep on changing around 20% every day. But if all of the people live with in or accept the frequent change of price, I think anyone could manage to live with it. I think it is just like a weather, sometimes the sun shines and sometime the rain drops, and not all the people want the sun to always shines oppositely not all people want a rain. At the end, I think the environment around cryptocurrency is quite hard at the moment but I think people could little by little adapt it soon.

It wouldn't be a problem inspite of the price differencr since bitcoins in that country does not need to be exchanged to dollars. Prices of all the items in that country can only be priced on bitcoins alone. The only problem is when you brought your bitcoins outside of the country since exchange rates are changing by 20% everytime.

Yes I would if I could but eventhough my country does not accept bitcoin as an official but accept bitcoin as being bitcoin it would be a big pleasure to me to live and use it. Bitcoin does not define humanity, as well does not define who I am. Well, as an addition it would be a big help if I live in a country who used bitcoin as an official currency well because of its conveniency, everyone can work with this anywhere and anytime also you do not even need to put a lot of passion and hard work with this. So as for the answer to your question I will live in a country that uses bitcoin as an official currency.

Contrary to popular belief, it’s certainly possible to live and survive on Bitcoin alone. Do keep in mind that just because it’s possible, does not mean one should expect a comfortable life by any means. Living off the grid on cryptocurrency always requires a tradeoff where comfort is concerned.

I do not see the BTC as an official currency. Although in a certain aspect it is literally achieving financial freedom. Without having a bank that tells you how and when to distribute your money. It would be smart for a country

If there would be country that their main currency is bitcoin I don't want to live there. I think it's hard to live if every moves everyday you should use internet and a gadget to buy everything you need. In my opinion.

I think living in one country that uses bitcoin as official currency is difficult because the high transaction, what if the btc holding by someone is not enough because transaction fee is more than the amount of thier holding btc how could they use it? Aside from that what if the country is in crisis which the electric power is affected how do we buy our needs, its been have a lot of consequenses if its happen.

I would probably leave that country and transfer to another due to various reasons.

Maybe I would if I could considering these factors. First factor, is if bitcoin value gets stable. It is too much risky to live in a country where you do not have an assurance if you would get success or drop down to the worst you think could be. It is such a pleasure to live in a modern country who uses modern money. Second factor, if bitcoin security are on high chance that it would not be steal. Yes, you cannot even hold your money on your own basically you depend upon the gadget you have to save your money but the security but it is not an assurance that it is safe. So, all in all I would live to the country who uses bitcoin as their medium of transaction or all in all a currency like a real money if the factors had met.

Since you said official that means bitcoin is the generally accepted currency in that country and we can pay for goods and services using bitcoin even to board ataxi and pay for a coffee, it will be nice but very expensive to use and no government will accept such cost in they economic system. Like every transaction you have to make no matter how small it is you pay high transactions fees e.g you are paying for a coffee of $5 and you pay $14 for transactions fees that will be too high to beer with as a nation. But having bitcoin as a secondary currency in a country is good and advisable asides the national currency, because bitcoin need a lot of technology which not every body can have and access it.

if bitcoin becomes the official currency there may be advantages and disadvantages, we can buy goods easily using bitcoin but maybe with high cost and when the internet is dead then we can not make transactions

In my opinion, bitcoin to be official currency it would be hard, because we all know bitcoin price is very fluctuate. and with that fluctuate it hard to seller to place price to their product. if they place price on their product and suddenly btc price go down seller will loss but if the btc price up the consumer will consider it to expensinve.

Uhm. Dude.. I'm sorry hahahaha I couldn't help but laugh while reading this one. But did you say, what happens if the internet gets shut off? Like, as a serious statement? Impossible doesn't even begin to describe how hard it would be to do that. But, would I live in such a country? Well of course I would. Because if a whole country was using (I'm going to sub out Bitcoin with Crypto Currency), if a whole country was running with Crypto Currency, that would mean All goods and services are paid for, using Crypto Currency. Thus, I'm getting paid to do something and can spend that currency to buy things. So of course I would. I can't find any reason that would detur me from thinking otherwise. Unless every other country except my country banned the use of Crypto Currency. Then I wouldn't be able to visit those countries. Then again. I wouldn't want to. Because any country that bans Crypto Currency is a Fascist state and no one would want to live there.

Would you like to live in a country where all the money is digital and everything you spend is public and could be seen by everyone in the world until the end of days? And if the internet is shut down then you would have no money?
This comment has a point. There's still a lot of things to consider before bitcoin will become an official currency. Bitcoin is still experimental and in developmental process as of to date. We don't know when it can become an official currency. So for now, my answer to this question will be – NO.

Yes, certainly. Because it has very favorable when the price is Bitcoin ride. But if the price goes down to the loss also has a BTC but when in a country making BTC as the official currency of his development surely BTC intensified.

I would like that but only once the price gets more stable and the high transactions fees are reduced.
The bitcoin network needs to develop a whole lot more. In the end it may be more beneficial to live in a country that uses an altcoin specifically designed for this.

I think there really is not a country that dares to allow people to use Bitcoin as an official currency. Actually they just encourage or dumb it. They think it leads to many evils, tax evasion, etc .. so most of them are illegal and prohibited from using them to trade.

For sure I will prefer to live in such a country where bitcoin is using is a official currency because in my country bitcoin price is very high and I know if I send my one month salary to my country is its more than enough for me and I wish that very soon we can see this opportunity as well because bitcoin is trying to help us and as bitcoin is going high day by day so a time will come that bitcoin will become an international currency.

Ill think twice on living in a country that use bitcoin as official currency because I still believe that fiat is still needed until we are ready I will think twice on living there. But if I am going to live there and get paid in bitcoin I shall see if it is benefiting to if not then I will move out of the country and well see about the economic growth of the country because it affects all and Yes it is possible because if you use a cryptocurrency as a official currency it is also volatile like bitcoin.

I'm not sure about that, I do not think bitcoin can ever replace the real money the reason is because shipping costs, bitcoin require shipping cost in every transaction and if bitcoin becomes the official hearing instrument imagine if one day we transact up to 10 times of course shipping costs will incriminate us

if bitcoin becomes the official currency ,, and we have to use bitcoin when buying anything, it is not effective. because every time we transaction bitcoin there is a transaction fee ,, in small and large amounts the same cost, we will lose.
i think we will be loser mostly.the reason is transaction fee!

It's a bit of an Utopian idea. But would i live in a country where you are paid in digital currency yes, i would, i would love to. Because to me the mode of payment doesn't really matter, as long as currency serves its purpose ( legal tender for exchanging goods and services). I pay for my grocery with my shopping card and most of my payments here in Singapore are in digital form. Singapore would soon move to a cashless country.

Well, I would just live in a country with a standard use of bitcoin as an official currency. I will live in the country where I can see to it that I am safe and live comfortably. I know that using bitcoin can make transactions become easy. And to think about it, if a country use a standard bitcoin, i will surely live in that country.

in the US is the largest number of users of the crypto-currency economy and Bitcoin as its part-time part, in the world. A lot of start-ups from Silicon Valley are created immediately with a binding to the blockhouse and the largest number of ATMs Bitcoin in the world of course is the United States which from the very beginning was at the forefront of the crypto currency battle.

If bitcoin is one of the official currencies, i definitely would live there. If there's no other way to pay my bills other than with crypto currency then it would be too strange, even impossible I should say. The most important part is that crypto is not illegal in the country I live in, so it works for me!

I think if bitcoin becomes the official currency, it is not effective. because every time we transaction using bitcoin we will charge for transaction fee ,, in small and large amounts the same cost. And ofcourse we have to think about the wallet security itself. For right now the wallet system still unsecure.

Yes I will but as of now there's no country that is doing that. Bitcoin still has a way to go to become an official currency but I think that it is slowly getting there. Many big companies now are accepting bitcoin so that is a start.

would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
For the real world usage, I don't think BTC is good option due to higher transaction fee and execution time.

I do not live in a country where bitcoin is used as an official currency. In my country, the government does not accept bitcoin. Bitcoin develops, it affects the benefits to the bank. Even, bitcoin is also prohibited.

Yes, I would really love to live in a country that uses bitcoin as a medium for making transactions to others or stores. Imagine the effect of it when it comes to security. You can shop, buy, and sell products without worrying if you receive a fake or counterfeit cash. In big transactions, you don’t need third party interventions just to make a deal with your clients or costumers.

I believe it, because it happens (although on a smaller scale) in other countries, I do not see that it is a bad option to do it, bitcoin could have a functionality such as the fiat currency. There are countries that even in use of their fiat currency live in sub-low respect to their official currency and still manage to maintain their economy. Everything is a matter of always recovering quickly from falls.

This would be the ideal set up for all crypto lovers and the goal of btc. If we would be living in a world where there is no fiat value the our countries currency would no longer lean towards USD's value towards its own value. BTC would be the one to dictate its price and that is good since the price of BTC would be determined by the people and we will no longer succumb to what the banking system wants. Hopefully the day will come that BTC would be the only currency that every country is using.

By using it as the official currency, does it mean that I will pay my foods, the candies that I buy and buying everyday things? Does it mean that it also has price fluctuations from time to time? For example, when you stroll around the mall with bitcoin = 10k for an hour and proceed to the cashier, the bitcoin price became 8k only. That will be a problem. Well, if that's what you mean, then there are also transaction fees. I think it is better to leave bitcoin as it is.

Although it may seem as an interesting and enticing idea, living in a country where the official currency is as unstable as bitcoin is not that really fun. Sure it has a high purchasing power. But with bitcoin's volatility we would hardly have a fixed price for items and services we avail. Many businesses would fall down or might not even have a chance to open. Before we dream of bitcoin being a local or international currency, we must first exercise measures to make sure bitcoin would finally reacg a stable state.

I think more countries may choose to use bitcoin as the second currency because bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous and the government has difficulty controlling Bitcoin. The government needs to regulate the market economy and must control economic transactions. Therefore, I think no country should use bitcoin as its first currency.

I would maybe consider living in a such country, but only if I am guaranteed not to lose money. I mean that if I get paid in Bitcoin, it should adjust to the price of Bitcoin and the price of everything in shops, markets should be adjusted as such, but that would be really hard to adjust unless a digital system for converting would be used for everything. Maybe it is too much to ask, but that would be my request, otherwise, I wouldnt live there because it would be a too big loss if I convert to cash.

Well if bitcoin is used as an official currency, it will be no different than the paper money that we are using now! The transaction fee for every transaction can be treated equivalent to the taxes that we currently pay. In essence things will be same even if bitcoin becomes the official currency of any country. But then again only time can tell what will really happen.

No doubt, I can live in a country that used bitcoin as official currency and would be a special event in human civilization. This will be the starting line to improve and change their lives in different ways. If this time came? This will be a great opportunity for every body not only with bitcoin users.

I think bitcoin will be use as official currency is not possible, simply because its value is not stable and unpredictable, it will only create chaos in economy. However,if bitcoin will be regularize, this will be an advantage to all bitcoin users.

My answer for this question will be yes I might try or think of a country worth migrating who uses bitcoins. But of course I will still need to have enough bitcoins myself to be able to live to that country. Like anyone migrating to a different nation we will still need enough money as a start up in living in that new environment. And if that country uses bitcoins then It will be a great advantage for me be.

Of course not. I personally prefer a stable life, then what if our own official currency is not stable? I wouldnt want to live in a country where the money is not stable because many goods and many modes of purchases can become complicated real quick if ever the price decreases or increases rapidly.

Yes I very much want to live in a country that uses bitcoin as legal tender, because with bitcoin as legal tender we no longer need to go-go outside the house to buy bitcoin and we also no longer need to carry cash wherever we go,we know very risky if you bring the cash with the amount that many,if with bitcoin we're more expensive.

As a the official currency of a whole country, Bitcoins would be accepted by almost everyone and every retailer in the said country. I will be using FIAT to make most of my purchases because i don't want to realise that i used an amount that could be used to buy a house to purchase some food to eat.

I would love to live in a place wherein Bitcoin was mainly used. How exciting it was, right? If that happens, I think it will lessen the ups and down of Bitcoin's price. I guess if many people are holding Bitcoin, then it's price will stabilize. That's how I think it is. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Of course I would like to, because bitcoin would completely transform the modern financial system. Yes, the price is still unstable, but thanks to this bitcoin can generate income. However, the full implementation of bitkin in use directly as a currency, will not happen very soon.

I would definitely prefer to live in a country that uses bitcoin as an official currency. We all know bitcoin has huge fluctuations, but it is also a fact that the starting price was very low in the range of $1. So if the crypto currency of the country starts at around $1 and increase to the recent numbers, then you still made a huge profit even if it goes down for 20%.

No, of course no one will want to live in such a country. The reason for this is the technical imperfection of bitcoin. Who wants to buy coffee in the store and pay a commission of several dollars? Also, you will have to delay at the coffee machine, since the transaction speed may be slightly ... delayed

That's possible. But for now, I think no country is accepting btc as permanent payment for everything. If there are some I don't know what countries are they. But if there exist a country where btc is used as official currency then that would be really good because if that country develop and gain successfully, other countries will follow and there will be a global economic change and growth. But still I might stay in the country where I am in, because btc is coming here now. I don't have any reasons to go out. People are accepting btc.

Live in a country where the crypt currency is very wonderful! You know for sure that this money is not supported by inflation and they can not be printed! Soon crypto money will be accepted in so many countries! If in my country - would be officially allowed, then I personally would be very happy! Because it will not be necessary to constantly start and output through different exchangers!

A few years ago I'd have said Yes. But after December and the mempool backlogs and transaction fees etc - I think not.
Just think how frustrating it was to send coins and then wait days on end before they arrived. Then imagine that you needed to buy food or pay rent, but some miner somewhere was spamming the mempool to keep the fees high and ripping you off in the process. Not good.
I now think that if there is a succesful cryptocurrency, it will be something like doge, which confirms fast and which has low fees.

Most likely that in the future, we are going to live a cashless nation since the technology is also growing and those companies cannot hinder the growth of cryptocurrency so there is a huge chance that bitcoins might be the currency of the entire nation if governments will approve.

There's nothing wrong with living in a country where BTC is fiat money!
You can refer to Japan!
Japan's digital money market is the most active country. People can trade in yen, except for BTC.
BTC is just one more option!

Living in a country that adopt bitcoin as their official currency will be to live in a controversial country, every member of such a country will become financially buoyant that no one will be willing to work again because from your little saving you can earn profits that will take care of you need's. But on a second thought such a country will be the safest to live in because you will have total control of your financial life. So if you ask me if I can live in such country I will say yes.

Of course, but is there a country that makes bitcoin as the official currency? I just know there are countries that consider bitcoin the same as the currency of the country but not as official currency, for example Japan. If it's a dream all bitcoin users might want it.

If bitcoin has reached a point that it became an official currency of a cou try then I really do think that it has become stable. ANd with it becoming stable I would not have any qualms on joining that country or at least jumping on that train to be able to use my hard earned currency on bitcoin and be able to use it for everyday life and that would make it easier for me

Hmm let me think... No, thank you. Adopting cryptocurrency alone is not a guarantee for you to have a proper life in a specific country. And having a volatile national currency really is not a good way to do it. Bitcoin will be to volatile by then. But if there is an altcoin backed by real asset that might be possible. Please not tether, claimed to be backed by real USD but turns to be a big bullshit
