Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
Actually at first you didn't know if the ico is legit or scam, So you need to make your own research, read the white paper, check if its supported by the community, then if you really want to invest you must know the risk.

For legit ICO you should really first review both from whitepaper, roadmap, team, and everything. just a little advice. if everything you have reviewed the last one is you buy it but I think the right time to buy it is when an ICO is approaching Softcap. most likely for the project to work great.

You must ensure that the ICO's worth to follow. Checking the info about the team, Website, roadmap, and Whitepaper because this is very important. And then check whether there is a sale of investors or not.

Everyday there was a lot of new ICO and at first cannot determine if it is scam or legit so before you decide to invest, just do make a review like the information or background of their teams if it has an experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to crypto, a website, roadmap, whitepaper, being supported by a community because these are mostly important to check whether if it is good or bad ICO's. Never depend on the hype, just think and follow your own decision and also if you really want to invest make sure you know the risk

I think there is a mixture of both good and some bad ICOs and some that are scams. it is the same in any ecosystem. The best thing is to just do some research and take your time before investing into an ICO.

ICO project will be very beneficial if it happens as expected by all people and there is no technical error or lie in it because all ico projects issued would want to provide benefits to all parties associated with it.

Discovering legit ICOs is by researching thoroughly about them, look at their team members, check if their project have a prototype, go through their advisors and their road map,  all these would give you insight if the ico is legit... Good luck

When choosing a project, check the team members, check their LinkedIn links. If there are not enough people in the team or they do not have links to social networks, it is more likely that the project is a scam.

You can’t tell that all ICOs are good or bad. There are good and bad. You need to be careful and research better before investing your money.

Some are scam and some are legit, you just need to take a look about their platform, whose people behind the project, the roadma and the white paper!

Most ICOs are indeed scam projects, the problem is that ICO failed to mantain their promises of being a way for independent, innovative project to fund themselves. Instead they have become a way to make quick money taking advantage of the hype, without even having a significant product to back up the token sale. We've been working on a way to make the token sale market fair and transparent for a year now, and we embraced the DAICO model when Vitalik proposed it. We believe DAICO are the future and we created a protocol with automatic smart contract generation that allows to launch DAICOs with guarantees for the participants. With our milestone control system when the token sale ends project don't get all the ether at once, but it stays locked in a smart contract that releases it progressively at the accomplishment of a milestone, and if the participants believe the milestone was not completed they can vote to block the funds.

I consider ICO to be legal. there is no dispute. but as there are caterpillars in the beginning. . You can only invest in ICO if you are confident in the company. and from which source it is taken. if reliable then you need to participate.

ICO can be legit or scam. It depends on the intention of the the project manager. People take advantage and use it against innocent people. You can check the background profile of the organizers and their partners to know the legitimacy of any project.

If this is done, then it will not be an objective analysis of the project, if you evaluate the project only by its managers. The Savedroid project showed that any project can be deceived, even one that has a good advertising campaign and many supporters. Managers, advisors and all those who work on the project promotion are just hired people and they also cheat and do not pay if the project turns out to be fraud. The white paper can also be faked, because I saw many ads of people who offer to write all the necessary technical documentation for the ICO for a small fee. In order to choose a normal project and minimize the hit on scammers, you need to evaluate many criteria at once: website, links to social networks, links to team profiles, Github, study documentation carefully and look for inaccuracies and errors, read reviews of specialists about the project and etc.
