Before perticipating in any ICO I often deeple research the project. My advice is to pay attention whether the projects has a ready-made product as it is some kind of guarentee that it is not a scam as well as  long termed activity before ICO. It is an indicator that team goes stright to thir goal and will not give up.
Check it properly and dont forget to take some patience while you are deciding to join in some ICO.

It depend on project you invest in Smiley. There are so many ICO projects on the internet at the moment and of course not all of them are legit so you'll lose your money if you invested in scam project Smiley. But it's wrong if you think all ICO projects are scam cause there are so many truthworthy projects that you can invest in but it's not easy to find out Smiley

Mostly it depends on the project, some of them are scams but some of them really work, or have intention to work. So we should choose right ones and encourage good projects, to help crypto industry to develop. Smiley

Both.  How do you discern which is which?  I recommend doing due diligence on the existing business operations, to see if it has existing traction; understand how blockchain provides differentiating value for the business model, and research the trustworthiness of the leadership team.

Not SOME are scams. MOST are scams.
From the rest, MANY fail, and only FEW make money for investors.
But they can make a lot.
So theres a chance, but its a thin chance to earn some money.

Much more often you will loose most, especially after the priceboom of crypto calmed down

Quite right, of course there are many fraud projects on the market. But they come across people who are too lazy to learn all the information about the project. There are many strong projects where the team really works for the result. There are many new blockchain, behind which I believe the future, such as NKNand USECHAIN, for example!

There are legit and Scam both ICOs out there. Mainly depends on the projects and team members. So be careful and investigate properly before investing on any ICO.

Some of ICOs are scam, so be wise in choosing an ICO. You can read the whitepaper of the project , the roadmaps and ratings/reviews from expert.

Not all ICOs are scam and there are also some good and promising projects which can give you best returns on your investments but for that you need to do a great research and look at the team behind the project and if it involves reputed names then there is nothing to worry.

Some of the ICO today are legit and some of them is SCAM, today it is really hard to find a good ICO. It is really hard to trust and to invest. I have a lot of experienced when it comes to that and that is just a waste of time for me, but i need to accet that anything can happens here though we provide time and effort but if that is just a messed we need to accept it. and if that is legit then we should be thankful.

Hi Guys,

ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

Usually you can understand whether project SCAM or not just looking carefully.
If it has a high level of development detalization, so website, wp, product, team, etc. looks natural and professional, then it is not a scam mostly possible.

No matter how many times this question gets asked on this forum, the answer is going to be the same and that is that most of the ICOs launching currently are nothing more than scams. Just have a look at their failure rates and you will understand. Investing in ICOs is going to be the riskiest investment you are going to make.

ICOs are still a very legit way for you to make a lot of money from the investment which you have made into the coins. The fact that the coins are sold for a very discounted price, so that you can get a lot of profit from selling the coins when the coins finally hit the exchanges. You should look up some ICOs that look legit so you can invest in them

ICO is just a new way to start a business, people think it is legal or a fraud, if there is a real value, a good project and a competent management, the result is good, otherwise is cam

I choose ICO after I read its documents, as well as various reviews on third-party resources. To advise something is not very good. The person himself must learn to make choices and be responsible for it.

You can identify if an ICO is scam or not by thorough research. Read their whitepaper and examine the team behind it if they're credible and experienced enough in this field. I can personally recommend you to check out DCC! In Distributed Credit Chain, you would have access to your own credit score all the time instead of having to request your transactions or your own credit score from a company like Equifax. Each DCC user will have an identification card which is called DCCID. It stores all your credit information in a decentralized manner that can be accessed across the globe any time. Companies like DCC are creating safer financial institutions with Blockchain technology.

To learn more about DCC, you can visit their website at http://dcc.finance/ or follow them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/DccOfficial2018

It really depends on an ICO. Some are a scam, some not. I personally prefer ICO that are attached to an existing product or service
