Most of them are legit, but the problem is that there are a lot of icos who are scam and that is the reason of why a lot of people do not want to invest on icos anymore, that is more than sad to be honest.

The absence of regulations governing the ICO resulted in many scam ICOs. Therefore we must be selective in choosing ICO, either as an investor or as a bounty participant. There is no definite benchmark to see a legitimate or a scam ICO. It is possible that ICO initially had a good concept and a good plan but in the middle, the ICO manager ran away without any responsibility. So look at internal factors (related to team, plan and so on) and external (related to the track record of managers and the ICO process runs.)

ICOs are legal in some countries that accept ICO and Crypto. ICO scam projects are often difficult to distinguish in the ICO process, people only recognize the scam after the project is over, and the developer does not take the next move and disappears with the money invested by the investor.

Most icos are shit and basically all they want is to raise as much funds as possible and not to do anything with the money after they get listed, their business wont have recognition and their coins will also soon become shit after they get listed on an exchange because of the dump.

So, always do your due diligence when picking icos

Some ICOs are legit and some ICOs may be scams.
To differentiate the legit and scam is rather hard. We must analyze deeply ad careful each project that we are going to invest. We must know their project, concept new or not, the team that creates the project, and many other components should be required.

There are some ICO are legits and some that are scam . . you need to do your research first to exclude those legit and those scam ones but these days,  the number of ICOs that are scams are much greater than those that are not scams. So, you need to do your due diligence

It is easy to be scam ICO, easier than being legit.
They collect money, list their token on the exchange and they could leave - is that scam? No everybody can buy and sell their token, but it is useless because the token is without use / product.

There is some ico's legit, but mostly I think they are many scammers. So you need to be aware of scammers and they can steal your money or get your money by investing in their tokens

Most of them are scam or dead project after team collected money.
As they disclaim all things that would against them in whitepaper as you can read.
so they will push it to some exchange pump it and continue sold his reserve token to make money
after that you will see they build another ico Smiley

At the moment 80% ICO - scam. Nobody is immune from this. But first of all pay attention to the team (what do they do, what kind of education), besides, I choose only those ICO that already have some finished product in the past

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
They say that many of the ICO are scam so I can consider that it is risky to invest our money to the ICO. I prefer to you that before you invest your money to the different ICO you must have a lot of knowledge.
Yes I agree. Many people are saying that there are so many ICOs that are scam but for me it is not. Because as ive joined 3 ICOs all of them are successful and not only by that theyre paying their participants not in time but they really do. They are not taking away our rewards.

Some ICO projects have obtained permission from local government departments to carry out activities under their supervision.

Well most of the ICO now are scams, fake or dead. They just want to earn money and their project is really not promising. It is still better to read first the documents and also check the website if it is real or fake. Also it is good if you took research about the team and the developer, if they are really the one making the project, there are a lot of ICO now that uses name of other, to influence other people. Just be careful before investing and make sure to do a research, remember it is very risky on joining ICO, so invest only what you can afford to lose.

Maybe ICO is even worse than you said. They use false propaganda to defraud people to invest in them. Investors are easily deceived before investing. I think it is time for ICO to monitor.

I recommend that if you invest in ICO you have to be smart to choose the best. Because not all ICO could run well and could generate a profit to investors. You can find help through ICO rating, on the site you can search ICO with the highest value. But I expect you could do research.

There are many examples where projects will receive support from the governments of countries. This is a very popular investment scheme, it is enough to enter the upper threshold of investment and whales are already slow to enter and an ordinary person can become an investor.

Truth be said, Initial Coin Offerings rarely are simple scams. It's my view that the real problem normally is oftentimes a unacceptable business idea.

When the coins never reach a single exchange, it's obviously a scam.

Most of them scam, so I try to invest in only that ICO which have a good team of members which have a long time experience in these field plus they are already members of successful ICO. This tends to increase trust in their system and also note their market potential and idea as it also help the ICO at the end.
