It should not result that tiring to recognise a scam ico, simply validate the members considering their published CVs carefully then decide if these look valid.

Hi Guys,
Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some. ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?
Thanks in advance.
I think we can't determine easily if ICO is legit or scam because some of them is using a platform that people think is legit and some of are very updated to their project but in the end it will scam so it's hard to determine.

It can be legit but sometimes it's a scam because people today are easily fooled by some developers. There are scams that makes the value of tokens into nothing. There are scams that run the people's investment. Even the bounty hunters feel irritated when they found out the campaign they promoting is a scam.

In my opinion, it became harder to detect scam ICO, because promotion mechanism of Initial Coin Offering became so well debugged nowadays. It's definitely not enough to simply check LinkedIn profiles of the Team and carefully read Whitepaper, even few times in a row. We need to make sure that ICO idea is viable - which is definitely not a simple task. Other words, beside ICO technical analysis we will need to apply a fundamental one.

I analyze the project primarily on the idea, popularity and command! The fact is that in the latest rvemya ISO projects increasingly began to fail, so I try to invest only in those projects that are most popular and are more likely to collect all the investments and grow in price!

most of the ICO Project on the stage right now are scam projects, but also consider that, there are some great ICOs recently. For example Kepler ICO, it was a top 1 ICO of 2018 so far, so with that type of title, I definately cannot just pass through it Not most, i think, only few. You can't just consider that most of the ICOS are scam, There are still more real and genuine ICOs than Scam. I also think that Kepler ICO is a great ICO

Usually ICOs are just becoming a scam, this is why some countries tend to ban ICOs.... There were ICOs which really looks like promising, but actually also a scam..

I think initial coin offerings are legit, because of the projects behind. If theres a ico with a project who has a real use case, they are legit. If the projects is just created because of the hype to create a projects with "blockchain" to get a lot of attention and money, i would say they are not legit. So you always have to know by yourself it its legit or not.

Just make sure to check their whitepaper properly. Mostly anonymous teams having their ICOs are suspicious, so check the team's back ground too. It's also best to look at their road map to check if they have a good plan for the year. Making your research before investing is a must, so make sure to do your homework.

Most of them are scams and be careful about that, its not easy to find the good one. This industry is growing, even there are a lot of scammers out there but I believe that someday a full list of good and legit ICO will be happen.

There are always two faces of everything.
Bad and Good.
Yes there are scam ICO's too and as well as very good ICO's too.
This is what, where experience is required to predict which one is scam and which one is genuine.

There are both many scams and legit projects out there. For example, my current portfolio consists of Monero, Redchain, Giftz, and Titanium. Check them out and let me know what you think.

ICO is something like an organized movement and fundraising. It is not regulated by any laws, which is why there are a lot of scammers and beginners who are not afraid of failure and can safely bury what they have accumulated.

To be honest, coins on rare occasions are complete scams. I consider that the real obstacle normally is oftentimes a unacceptable business proposition.

I think that in reality everything depends on the specific ICO project in which you plan to participate. Now there are good, useful and fully legitimate ICO, despite the emergence of various scammers.

Only invest what you are willing to lose. Dont put your money all in one basket. Proper financial planning is important in every investment we make. Try looking in in SafeCrypt.io. A high security exchange that has high standards of quality and every piece of software is being tested multiple times before they make it publicly available. I spent some time to study SafeCrypt ICO. I think this ICO could become one of the best this spring, because of several reason: 1. This is cryptoexchange. And this cryproexchange has some advantages compare to existing ones: instant transactions, lowest fees, absolute anonimity, large select of crypto assts and others. 2. They lead very good ICO policy. 3. THey have Adequate and reasnable bonus rates. read more here https://safecrypt.io/r566Also Make sure to check out the merchant solution https://t.safecrypt.io

First, you need to sure that the admin is trusted. Second, visit their website if there is no malicious things on that. Third, visit their social media like twitter if they have many followers. Last, the money that's allocated on their campaign. That's only my opinion.
