No. DCT has its own network so there should not be any problem. The postpone only changed the 24 hr period for setting the exchange rates - naturally (pushed it also 48 hr later) since it is an average of last 24 hours before the TGE round starts.

We have prepared a guide for TGE participation where you should find all necessary info. But have in mind that "CONTRIBUTE" button will appear only after the TGE starts (so tomorrow 2 pm UTC). We will send you ERC20 tokens within the 48 hours after the TGE ends, on the Erhereum wallet you used in your KYC. If you will have any questions you can always ask here (even though it can take some time till we respond. In case you want a quick response you can try to write us on Telegram).

Well yesterday I made a tx on ethereum with a gas price of 36Gwei and now 10h later it still hasn't processed.
This is really troublesome, it might be a good time to change the platform for ICO's .. take NEO or STRATIS perhaps.

I haven't lost faith in ETH. This is just a small hurdle and the devs are more than capable of overcoming this. Besides, i think SophiaTX is a bit far into their launch to consider changing blockchains.

We have decided to postpone our token generation event by 48 hours.
Due to problems with the Ethereum Network, our TGE will be rescheduled for Thursday, Dec. 7th! The reason we are postponing it is not because we run on the Ethereum network, but because some of our participants will use the Ethereum Network and it's having major issues.

You did the right thing to postpone TGE, many people suspended transactions, money was hanging in the air, there was no traffic for 5-8 hours, and eventually zero transactions took place.
If the network performance is not restored within 48 hours, what will be your next action?

I hope that kitty game will modify their smart contracts so that they don't put such high stress on the ethereum network .

Wasn't it already confirmed by an Ethereum dev that "CryptoKitties is definitely a significant contributor to network congestion, and it may have been what pushed us over the edge from mostly-full blocks to full blocks in the last day or so."

I know you can't fully blame this game for everything but it definitely played an important role. Nevertheless, scaling solutions are necessary, this game just speeded everything up.

Yeah, it is just like a stress test to the Ethereum network and clearly reminds us that the network needs more improvement in order to avoid such issues. Nevertheless, SophiaTX will push through its reschedule TGE according to plan.
