If you wanna find some good coin for long-term, i will introduce some potential coins. Those are Ripple,  ETH , Ethereum's advanced technology and wide range of applications make it possible for Ripple to collaborate with banks to a certain extent.

Long term coin are Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS. Tezos could have been but due to the recent infight .  Bitcoin is still popular with any hindrance as it has been in the past. And the reason why bitcoin has helped many people become rich. But ETH, EOS is the future currency. So I chose BITCOIN, ETH and EOS

Every coin has an aspect they specialize fully in. When it comes to privacy and anonymity, then Monero , Dash , Verge , deeponion are your best bet cause they guarantee you just that.

But usecase of a particular coin should be what you arr really interested in as it detemines a lot. Ethereum is huge today cause of its massive wide-scale utilization. It provided smart contracts and the capablility to create tokens on its infrastrucure. This brought in more eyes and utilization. The same was experienced with NEO as well. So use case should be your major fofus.

Every alt coin increase in price when the time comes it is just matter of time, waiting for the coins to reach its estimated value. Choose a coin that has a low price but has a great project that will have such a high demand in the future so that it will increase its price just how it is estimated. For me I would invest in the top 10 coins because i can see that those coins has a good price and market value. Like ethereum, cardano and most likely bitcoin

I would suggest you to look on the coinmarketcap and also on the echoing behaviour in some terms of time and then you would understand which are worthy of your long-term investments.

I think if there are coins which are good for long-term investment, I will prefer the main coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, NEO, EOS, litecoin and bitcoincash because it will definitely last for good due to its capability to surpass its red period and turn in green easily.

I feel like omisego is going to very great investment in 3 years. There are other powerful but nearly unknown coins/tokens like aventus and musicoin which are on great ideas. But noone knows if these are gonna work. Good development is the most important thing really.

the answer to that question is BITCOIN and Ethereum because the two coins are just like you claimed that they are like Google and Amazon versions of crypto currency.

to invest in the long run it would be nice to use Ethereum. because it is for Ethereum which has an increasingly growing owned Ethereum can produce a fairly high price in the future. so it's great to choose Ethereum for long-term investments.

5-10 years is a very long time in the cryptographic world, therefore it is impossible to predict. But I think that BTC and ETH will almost certainly be. And other coins NEO and OMG can also be at the top.

if you want an altcoin or a cryptocurrency that can be hold for long term and you can actually forget about and come back if its price suddenly increases, go for bitcoin or ethereum.
