Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ????

Altcoins is well worth the investment, as long as you do it right, and don't want to buy a lambo the next day. Although there are many altcoins that are safer than others, this does not mean that the only way to make big money is to try to jump on the cheapest coins. Even large coins like Ethereum still have a lot of room for development. We are still in the early stages of cryptocurrency and there is a lot of growth.

Long term investment are very good for earn huge amount profit. Bitcoin and ETH is very good for long term investment. Bitcoin and ETH is very trusted and safe for long term investment. You can go without tension with Bitcoin and ETH.

In my opinion, to decide the best altcoins for long-term holdings, we must analyze the coins. First is thinking about the concept of the coin. If the coin has the read-product, the chance of the future coin will be much better. If the coin has got the special trusts from the people for the transaction and other utility, it may be good for long-term investment. So, just analyze by yourself which one is best.

Same for me, these are all low risk coins. I have also started looking at tezos. After their test net launch, theres a buzz around it. Other than that some long term investment like blocknet, knc etc.

For me such coins lately are Litecoin, Tron, and Cardano. They are very promising and has made a real progress in the crypto world. I also invest in Ethereum and Bitcoin, long term.

Of course, Bitcoin ranks first when I think about long-term investment. As far as altcoins are concerned, it's ETH, NEO, LTC, and Cardano. But the market changes all the time so you need to DYOR and choose which coin will rise soon.

5-10 years, so think about some recent ICO? EON Protocol will start their ICO soon, they are specializing in gaming industry. Blockchain and digital games could be very good combination. Imagine how bog is this industry and many problems they could solve with their solution. 
I love ICOs cause you can be at the beginning of something really big!

I think you should have BTC and ETH as it is whales of crypto market. And they are in top for a long time and I am sure they will be in top in future.

Long term is definitely ETH, XRP, or any coin which has a proper real world use. I don't recommend investing in "Currencies"..

I think the only coin that really fits your description is Bancor. If you observe, Bancor is the most stable coin out there, was not over-pumped during bull run nor it was over-dumped in this bear season. And more than that, it does solve a problem that no other coin is solving: it provides liquidity between assets.

bitcoin is a good coin for a long term investment it will having a good price year by year so if you are planning to have an investment and have a holdings then bitcoin is best for you to choose.

This market is so unclear and unpredictable that we cannot be confident in the existence of cryptocurrencies 5 or 10 years from now,  it would be great if cryptocurrencies would be still alive.

I think long-term investment, is a stable coin following bitcoin prices and I think ethereum is a suitable coin to invest long-term.

Projects which:

1) Adhere to current and future regulation
2) Have a quality product which has real world application
3) Have legitimate and established partners.

Suffice to say, a large amount of projects out there are simply about raising exorbitant amounts, and spending most of their investment on marketing so that their investors can take part in a pump and dump.

No future for these kind of projects (which I would argue are the majority) whatsoever.

ETH is next to bitcoin and I see great potential in it in the coming years though bitcoin has still a great role in altcoin price in the market. There are still other altcoins and it is up to you which of those will you choose after your thorough research. This is a risky matket and what you need is patience and knowledge in order to survive.

I thought Vechain would be quite promising but recently it has been dropping a fair bit. The supply chain side of things for blockchain is really interesting.

Also, any coin that gains traction is gaming will definately stay. Gamers have a real incentive to use blockchain project like BUFF, WAX, Bitguild, Robot Cache etc. Any project that allows tokenization of in-game assets is super important. Let me explain. Online gaming is growing YOY, there are secondary markets for in-game items are people pay ridiculous prices for guns/knives/shields etc (opskins etc). Several companies are working on solutions to purchase in-game items and store them in wallets (actual ownership) and this is important for gamers. The games industry will continue to grow. I don't know which one will win but the winner needs to partner with the right companies and gain traction. Let the fight begin

For the long term, most coins will give you a good return, bigger coins have already made their fair share, I would look for cheap coins with less supply and and potential to grow, GoChain (It will replace Ethereum) , Privcy, it will challenge Dash.
