I am waiting for the whitepaper to be released ,is it the normal practice to release everything before the release of the white paper ,i can see that the test net is ready ,the wallets are ready and the pools are ready, but the white paper is still not out,i would like to see what it says as there are many anon coins which are truly not anon ,i hope it is a good project and waiting for the white paper.

are you mine with cpu?

No, I'm mining with GPUs, but you can mine using CPUs, like:

You can mine in the minning pool of umine.org (http://umine.org).

You can use the app: cpuminer-multi-rel1.3 and configure like this:
cpuminer-x64.exe --algo=myr-gr -o stratum+tcp://s.umine.org:5433 -u [your wallet address] -p c=XSH -t [number CPUs]

Regards.

Hi Dev,

What is the circulating number of shield coins out there? Investors and miners need to know this for investment decision.

You could mine a lot very fast. Just with a couple GPUs. Now their multi algo coin didn't account for L3 miners as someone said earlier. Someone said they managed to mine a couple million in 2 days. But claims they sold it. I got 100k off and on with limited power. There was a few days of that.

This was fixed i guess by their difficulty change and reward halving. It's not nearly as much coin pumping out now.

Hi Dev,

What is the circulating number of shield coins out there? Investors and miners need to know this for investment decision.

In the Shield web page appears like:

Technical Specifications.
SYMBOL: XSH.
BLOCKTIME: 45 SECONDS.
NETWORK: POW WITH PLANNED POS.
MAXIMUM TOKENS EST: 660 MILLION.
ALGORITMES: SCRYPT, X17, GROESTL, BLAKE2S, & LYRA2REV2.

In coimarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shield-coin/ doesn't appear the circulating supply, but the total supply is 450,508,339 XSH

In the blockchain explorer: http://188.226.178.216:3001/--> 451,171,438.2017563 XSH, see, also: http://188.226.178.216:3001/richlist--> 94,43% XSH

Is it a token or coin? If it's a token (Ethereum based) what special purpose does it serves?

The dev should understand the difference between a token and a coin project. The intro talked about coin and the website tech specification said token. Now I understand why this project had a rough start. Unknown numbers of circulating tokens or coins out there. I hope they know what they are doing. I cannot put my money in this project due to lack of clarity.
