Unless otherwise any new currency or more efficient tool of investment will come in the market bitcoin is the king. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency introduced in the currency market. Later on many altcoins came in the market, but unique features of bitcoin making it more and more popular. There are many difficulties in the functioning of bitcoin, many countries are opposing bitcoin as a currency or as a tool of investment, they want to regulate bitcoin on some security issues. Many illegal activities are now using bitcoin as a mode of payment in their illegal activities. These are the possible obstacles in the progress of bitcoin.

I think as long as people find useful and profitable, bitcoin will never disappear. Bitcoin price will only be valueless if people will no longer invest in bitcoin. Which is is unlikely to happen. People already trust bitcoin since it already made a lot of people rich.

It is hard to predict with certainty, but usually if something is going to fail it is during its early years. Since Bitcoin is approaching 10 years it is probably past that hurdle. I would think it will probably be around for the next 10-20 years easily, then it may risk being supplanted by some other coin or even technology. It probably won't go away completely, just become  not as relevant at some point.

That's true, it's hard to predict with certainty, because for one, bitcoin or cryptocurrency, for that matter, is not certain in itself. Therefore, to just answer the question plainly in terms of how long will it survive won't be an easy question to answer. However, I think it has a real big potential to survive and be there for a long time, especially with the improvement in price value it has shown to do in last few months, plus the growing attention that most people have for it right now. I think if all good factors come into play in its favor, then it is certain that it would be blessed with longevity.

We will see how the bitcoin would go. We cannot truly predict bitcoin because of its movement in the market right is very volatile. But base on the recent movement of the price in the market. I think bitcoin has still a long way to go.
