as you can see above and now this.

pretty sure XMR Stak wont be doing all this, continiouly crashing on Dual rigs where you have to run one miner for RX Vega and one for RX580, rejected by pool, and other crap

does the --forcecompute help for this?

Hey guys. I have recently build 8 VEGA rigs and using CastXMR. All is doing fine except yesterday one of my rigs went offline. Now when I tried to open de bat file it instantly shuts down the file again. I have reinstalled windows, adrenaline drivers etcetera but the problem persists. Im using exactly the same bat file (with another workername) as other rigs. Does anyone have idea whats happening here?

Check to make sure your copy of CastXMR.exe is still in the same directory. I had this a few times and windows defender had deleted or quarantined the file.

hynix are limited, you cannot do more Sad

thats ccomplete bullshit...i have some of the red devil vegas too...they are ~20hs slower than my vegas with samsung memory...

you just need the right miner/overdriventool/powerplaytables config, thatzs it
Please show you ppt settings for red devil, power consumption, ONT settings and miner screen with h/r.

Yeah. I would love to see that too. Hynix definitely has much lower hashing rate in my experience.

How can I optimize my miner ? Single MSI Vega 56 Air Boost (Hynix). Latest drivers.

Afterburner settings : PL : -7%
                              Core Clock : 1522 MHz
                          Memory Clock : 945 Mhz
                            Fan             : 74 %

                            temp           : 57-59 C

For SumoCoin (Cryptonight Heavy) I am getting 1350-1358 H/s but I am getting only 94% accepted with 3% "invalid result computation failed" and 2% "outdated because of job change"   after 24 hours. Is this normal ? If not please tell me how can I optimize more.

Hash rate decreases if I do that.

One of my rigs doesn't get a screen if I have a certain VEGA connected to the mobo. When I disconnect this particular card from the rig, it boots with no problem. I'm using on-board for my screen. Anyone any idea what might be happening?

you try with/wo --maxmem option?
and try maximum pw and voltage litke +50% and 1200mV. core 1550-1630. what result?

I tried --maxmem but it says I need to disable HBCC from AMD settings to get upto 3% increase hashrate but if I disable HBCC I get half hashrate.

I only experienced what you did when I used blockchain drivers. When I switched 18.3.4, disabling HBCC worked well
How much shares do you consider good ? I am getting 95% accepted with 3%"incalid result computation failed" and 2% "outdated due to job change" on sumocoin (Cryptonight Heavy)

Hey guys,
AMD released a new driver today - 18.5.1

I haven´t done further testing, but it looks like my hashrate improved of around 1-3%. (mining Cryptonight-Heavy)

Which cards can you confirm the 1-3% increase for?

I can actually state a DEcrease for RX480

back to 18.3.4

hi

still have the same prob with 1.0: cast stop hashing, not hanging but power at 100%   Huh  no hbcc, --memmax
when i close cast,rig reboot.

you say" drop hash" reset card, maybe it"s that?

somebody has the problem with blochain driver and regmod?

have you figured this out?  I had the same issue with one of my machines.  It was stuck showing the information on the cards.  The window was still open and the machine was still active.

Single RX Vega 56

The improvement could be caused by anything. I just stopped mining, updated the driver and started to mine again and I saw a little bit higher hashrate than I had ever before.

I tried the 18.5.1   driver on Vega64. Cast XMR doesn't show any difference to the previous 18.4.1 (same 2020-2040 H\s on v7 and 1530-1540 H\s on Heavy), but the SRB-miner 15.5 with new driver is MUCH better: v7 before was 1950 H\s, now 2070 H\s; heavy 1430 H\s before, now  1680.  Developers of CAST XMR should release the next version with improved hashrate if they want to have their 1.5% dev.fee. As for now SUMO mining on SRB-miner 15.5 (0.85% dev fee) looks more profitable for miners. And in spite of announced nicehash support Isince 0.9.x of CAST XMR I always have 100% reject. This have to be fixed.

is this true? you get 1680 on the new drivers? do i need to do ddu and install them or can i just download and apply?

if you dont mind sharing what settings you are using that would be great too. intensity's, Custom powerplay tables? and overdrivensettings?

getting to 1680 stable from 1500 would be incredible i would be very inclined to send some coins your way. sumo/eth

im using reference 64 vegas with samsung memory if that matters.

Just tried to run V1.0, with win 10 X64 (build 1803) + AMD 18.3.4 drivers + 3X RX570 bios mod + afterburner 4.5. Only 2 cards are working properly, GPU1 has less than 70H/s when displayed.

Here is my bat:
cast_xmr-vega --algo=-1 -S xmr-us-east1.nanopool.org:14444 -G 0,1,2 --forcecompute -u 45KjUS75gPfatjfHjtBkEed********GEwKGEDWk545ZWQd9ieFGcm.Z****t

What am I missing please ?

On my single Vega56, I get 1360-1400 H/s at 1522 core clock, 1945 memory and -7% power limit. How can I increaee it ? (Hynix memory, msi air boost)
