I tried my best ^^ I'm using reference card 56 with 64 bios.
OverdriveNtool is not working with 18.3.4 and I can't run above 1090 even on old driver. ( this is the same for all my card (20 cards))
OverdriveNtool is working like a charm with newest drivers.

Thxs . I'm gonna try again so ...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Do you not find the lower power on P7 lowers your hashing?

Hi,

Cast XMR version 1.0 is available.

Now CryptoNight Lite variants are supported. Lite coins like Aeon, IPBC and Turtle.

With the Lite algo higher hash rates can be achieved as it only uses an 1 MB scratchpad.

Following hash rates should be reachable.

RX Vega 56/64: 4250 Lite Hashes/s
RX 470/570/480/580: 1600 Lite Hashes/s

Use the --memset option to squeeze some extra hashes. It was enabled by default in the 0.9.7 version, now it is default disabled. It is probably only recommendable if a hash rate monitor is used to reset the GPU if an hash rate is drop is detected. Btw. from my observations the 18.3.4 drivers seem more resilient against hash rate drops then the legacy blockchain beta drivers.

Regards,
Glph3k

Cast XMR Version 1.0.0 (2018/4/24)

- Support for Aeon (AEON) CryptoNight Lite variant set --algo=3 to mine
- Support for Turtlecoin (TRTL) CryptoNightV7 Lite variant set --algo=4 to mine
- Support for Interplanetary Broadcast Coin (IPBC) CryptoNight Lite IPBC variation set --algo=5 to mine
- Up to 3% performance improvement with new option --maxmem to allocate the maximum memory of the card. For Vega cards the "HBCC Memory Segment" has to be disabled in the Radeon Settings to use the option. Disadvantage is a higher risk of hash rate drops when the --maxmem option is used.

Download Cast XMR 1.0.0 for Windows (64bit)

so, what's -tt? should I put number on [/tt]? or it will be automatic set once I put --maxmem? especially for vega 56

--maxmem completely destroys my HS on cryptonightv7

vega 56 in its own PC drops to 900-1000

vega 64 in its own PC drops to 1300

actually by drops, i mean its already starts mining at that speed and doesnt go up....

and vega 64 doesnt drop HS anymore with 1.0.0 (that perf hit that happened with 096)

btw my HBCC is disabled.

I am having an unusual error problem with V 1.0.0 and have had the problem through the last few iterations.

When mining certain coins (this has happened with Stellite, Plura and Haven that I can remember), the miner will suddenly drop authentication from the pool and keep hashing with no results. The errors read as follows:

[18:47:31] GPU0 Found Nonce, submitting...
[18:47:32] !Rejected by pool! Reason: Unauthenticated

This happens after a period of successful mining, then it will start rejecting. This happens on multiple pools, so I don't think it's the pool, and I've had it on multiple coins. If I were running the wrong variant of the algorithm, I could understand, but that's not the case.

Ideas?

darn, making almost 11€ a day with 4 Vega 64 and 16€+ a day with 6 Vega 56 (unmodded) using Awesome Miner to mine on Nicehash pool and CryptonightV7.  Shocked Shocked Vega are ruling again like in the old times!

You got that right. Mining with 5 x Vega 64 + 2 x Vega 56 on one rig and 4 x Vega FE on the other and making good money right now - right around $70/day total.

Has nicehash stopped sending cryptonight mixed with the cryptonightv7 on their cryptonightv7 port? i.e. port 3363 .  i had to remove my vega's from port 3363 on nicehash because of that.

interesting statistics for my cards....the ancient HD7950 on Claymore's miner shows 450 H/s on CN v7 (monero), the newest Asus Strix Vega64 on CastXMR miner shows 1980-2020 H/s. So hashrate is 4 times higher. Both cards work with same pool as 2 workers of same login. I started both cards' miners at the same time, after 1 hour of work miner of 7950 reports 100 accepted shares, miner of Vega64 reports 120 accepted shares. JUST +20% MORE !!! Huh So what is all that 2000+ hashrate for?

1 hour of work is nothing due to probability nature ... Moreover, pool can assign different diff for your workers. So you'll have less shares but more "valuable" ones

yes, they did. I have several rigs using Awesome Miner with Cast XMR on Nicehash pool to mine CryptonightV7 and I haven't experienced that problem whatsoever. So great Vega are ruling again!

As of the 21st CastXMR seems to be having issues with Nicehash. 20% rejected by pool. No memory errors in HWinfo and 0% Invalid Computation result. Two other miners I know confirmed this as well and they have completely different rigs and setups. I am running three six card gpu rigs two running on nicehash and the 3rd on NanoPool. All the rigs have the same setup and tune. The NanoPool rig does not experiences issues and does not report the 20% rejected by pool. The hashrate reported by the pool is accurate as well. The two rigs running on nicehash both experience a 18 to 20% rejected by pool error. This is reported on nicehash as well "Rejected(target)" nicehash also reports a lower then expected accepted average hash rate over 72 hours.

Has anyone else seen this or run into this issue with nicehash since 04/21/2019

That is still ok.
If you want higher you need to flash vega64 bios and soft power play table edit.
