Altcoins have always been the most risky, you can get great rewards but also risk the loss of the whole amount the most. You have to take this into consideration when investing.

My advice is to invest only in projects you screened yourself and you genuinely believe in. If the project is good and team is good you can decide later when to use or sell the coins.

I am holding some altcoin too and I still holding it. I think to make profits from altcoin is depending on that altcoin, many altcoin have good project and promising profits in the future and many altcoin just average project and they not make developing their product.
Its better doing researh before we pick altcoin as our investment
