Actually Dash and Monero are holding their %increase against BTC pretty well looking back the last 3 months.
Litecoin has been doing quite well too.

Just wait until the price of bitcoin stabilizes, then watch how the prices of the popular altcoins rise and go even higher than they were before, these fluctuations can be expected sooner in time.

I bought for 2ETH worth of GVT. Best investment I ever made to date. This includes stocks I bought over 15 years and homepages which generated revenue x 10 purchase price. I also bought Wolk and it is priced 0,0001% of my purchase price but I am sure price will pick up eventually.

It can't be this bad if you did your research right I mean fundamental analysis. But then you can recovery it takes alts time to grow I mean enough time to find new resistance. So bro, time is key.

How to teach yourself how to count only in BTC? If you counting everything in the BTC, you are calm(I hope).
All you care about is how many bitcoins you have. Long money is better than long ones.

Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
That's why you should only buy alts that have strong fundamental and can go up against btc in value. Even if the value against btc loss, good alts always recover and gain even more usd value. Don't just hold your , know when to sell when btc is up and buy back later when it's stabilized.

Even if you peck to BTC, you should still have more $ after your investment than you had before. If you have twice the BTC but your BTC is worth a quarter, you failed the trade.

Sticking to Large caps is a good option that market cap segment typically holds 80%+ of the total market share and has about 13 coins. Good user adoption and has plenty of room to grow.

It's always good to invest in coins with a big marketcap and trading volume.

I would consider hodling biggest amount in BTC.

...then spread in promising coins like XMR; IOTA, EOS, NEO, ADA, KMD, LSK, LTC and so on.

I invested in that coins and made good profits out of altcoins. Also investing in altcoins is good for understanding the volatile markets more. you get a better feeling what to do Smiley

Hunting low market caps and ICOs with real world applications is never a bad idea either though as part of the "venture" portfolio. There are going to be a few coins that will create a profit of x100 to x10,000 in the coming years. Just a matter of finding them early enough.

Not all altcoins are bad. It sounds to me that you didn't look into the coins you invested in.

However you can't go wrong with putting everything in Bitcoin at the moment as it's profitable.

I put about 1.5btc int many popular alts in 2013. Lost it all Wink

they crashed and then the exchanges disappeared as well. Definitely risky. But we aren't satisfied with btc gains, for some reason.

You are wrong if you put the statement like that. Altcoin is not that bad. Its your mistake if you put it in wrong place. Do some good and deep rezearch first. Look at alt coin like eth, neo and another good project. It perform very well and please remember the good coin cant make you rich in one night. It may takes month or years to going to the moon.

Yes you fucked up and should have thrown down on the BTC obviously. I fucked up a Bit (no pun intended) and bought some bullshit like Waves, held bags for months and finally dumped. I also held down Ark for like 2 months and dumped with a profit, but not really a profit because if the funds stayed in BTC would have won bigger. BTC was the secret the entire time in front of our very eyes. Damn.

Well, I've invested all my bitcoin in altcoins every time I've earned trading bitcoins, I can not hold them and buy more altcoins. Now, most altcoins come down because of the bitcoin pump but I still believe that all altcoins will increase soon and we only need to wait a moment. I always have patience to wait for the price is up and if I have to sell my coins, I can still get profits, so I think it's better to wait longer.

I think you have not researched carefully about altcoins. Who willing say that Bitcoin cash, IOTA or Monero are not good? You have chosen wrong time to invest. Let begin, you can earn more money

I know the rise of bitcoin has seriously affected the price of altcoins for months now, but no matter how it goes, let's wait for when the price of altcoins will rise, if you sell now, loss of capital will be the problem, cause there is no gain at all.
