Wish I never bought altcoins

Sometimes I understand your feeling very well. In crysis times alts fall much harder than BTC.

Due to having lower market capitalization than bitcoin, altcoins take a hit more than bitcoin when bitcoin's price is making rapid movements. People who are in the market for some time knew this that's why when bitcoin make this kind of movement, you should be quick too in buying or selling because you can find an opportunity in it. I hold some altcoins that lose 95% of its value already that's why I learned my lesson of not being greedy and take profit when it reach my target price because altcoins price fluctuates very much one minute you are in profit and the next one you are at a loss.

These are exactly my take aways too, try to take profits instead of riding the wave until the end and fall off the board. Not sure if everyone was too greedy but certainly too sloppy and careless. This market does not forgive that, you need to be sharp as a knife or will be eaten by sharks..metaphorically speaking.

Don't for sure those people who had been bought at ATH of BTC and altcoins and still to choose to hold and stay here has been already immune by the market it doesn't matter to them if the market goes down or up but they are really for long term here in crypto world.

I think it is increasingly clear that the cryptocurrency market is nothing more than a big pump and dumpo business, and in reality investors do not care too much about the great technological advantages that all altcoins presume, since all of them without exception are being used for the sole purpose of speculating in the very short term, to exchange them for bitcoins as soon as the profits obtained meet the expectations of each investor.

That is why I have always considered it prudent to try to hold as many of our valuable bitcoins as possible, dedicating only a small fraction of them to speculate with some promising altcoins.

Seems you had a bad experience with altcoins but think again dude. Altcoins can be a good profit also you just need make a deeper study on that specific altcoins

You'll miss the opportunities if just think only about bitcoin and never consider to pick some altcoin in your investments. Though you only want to earn profit just by bitcoin, I suggest you to look at altcoin as well. But don't think too hard about it, I just said that you may miss the chance. Well, if you bought 1 btc, you will always hold 1 btc regardless how much the price move

But if you could convert it to coins like ETH, TRX and others, your 1 btc may become 2, or 0.5 or so

I have made really good money when I invested in altcoins. First, I was choosing alts from top-10 but later, I understood that the other cryptos can also bring profits.

Some people wish they never bought alternate coins (especially those cryptos not on the top list) because they have a high expectations to it but gave them a bad experience that is hard for them to bear. But only if they will not stop, they will surely hit a good and promising crypto the next time they invest.

maybe you don't want to believe in the market cycle. Bitcoin falls and then grows and falls again is a natural process that is not stable because the market is too young. When will the trend change and bitcoin will start to rise the market of alts will rise with him. In the business strategy and special trade Altcoins today high prices tomorrow may change so we have to have short-term strategies and long-term strategy to prevent risks. Instead of being sold out you can leave half of the Altcoins and keep them in the long run.
