Yes, you are a little late to the party if your whole intention is to get rich quick.
No, if you believe in crypto currencies in long term and you have passion about security and privacy.

No because in my opion you will be looking back at monero seeing it at under 100$ and regretting not buying since I think monero will be worth 500-1000$ in a year of 1/2 from now. Also there all still a lot of altcoins that can grow a lot.

Besides that 5500$ for a bitcoin might seem a lot now but maybe later when bitcoins will be worth 50k$ its 10% of that.

Not basing these predictions of anything btw, just my gueses (and hopes Tongue)

I felt the same way especially with the prices climbing so high this year. I felt like I was running out of time. However, Bitcoin is sure to rise much higher than it is today so keep investing. Everyone else will be late to the party but not us!
Me too! Wish I just start bitcoin last year so I can have enough funds to invest in bitcoin and sell it now. For me, this is the right time to sell bitcoin. Everyone should set a target price when they would like to sell it.
Yeah, honestly the current price of Bitcoin is useful to sell than choose it to holding now. You also know it has pumped by the rumor receive Bitcoin Gold while the Bitcoin Gold community is unknown, there is no one has power support this coin and it look like as Bitcoin Unlimited in the past.

You are extremely lucky as I think that you have just found the best time to enter the crypto markets. All the alts have found their ground and are trading at very low prices. Most of us are bag holding all of our alts and if I had any more money to put into crypto I would have done it now!

It's still not too late. We are still in the early adopters (the first 10%).

Bitcoin is getting more and more mainstream but Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are still in their infancy.

I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.
I think we, as a beginner are still hoping that we can still earn even though we recently join this kind of investment, well, investment is really a gamble, we don't really know what will happen, but in this case , we already prove that this currency has a potential and so, I think we should do our best to invest because we believe that sooner or later, cryptocurrency will rise and rise.

It is always hard to tell, right now anyone new to cryptos (myself included) is late to the party, but if they enjoy success for many years to come then we would be considered as early adopters.

Never too late to party. Even bitcoin this month can reach $ 6,000, never to late invest.
If you want cheaper than last 2 years is hard, but no one knows in the future. But bitcoin still best invest.

i agree if we compare the price of bitcoin at the moment with 2010 then we were late to the party, but i would like to ask anyone who bought bitcoin at price was $0.01 then when bitcoin reached $100 or $1000 they still hold. Now bitcoin is $5500 but bitcoin can reach $10,000 even $20,000 in the near future so i think we still are not late to the party. Moreover a lot of project which do ICO have price very cheap, we can buy and wait

If you look to the past, you are late - but not too late.
If you look to the future: that's bright.

Last year I was in doubt about bitcoin, about $650 at that time. I wish I had bought more, but I looked back to the time bitcoin was only cents worth.

So dont look backwards.

I think you're not too late, because every year cryptocurrency keeps going up, it's just bitcoin price is very high, you should try to find another altcoin to invest

Anytime anyone show up in crypto is the right time ! You are never late because opportunity is everywhere in crypto ecosystem. From trading to ICO to even airdrops.

Anyone is never late upto this point. As we know that the market is still new and the marketcap of all the coins have'nt reached yet the trillion dollar value. We are still in fresh and lot's of money will flow into cryptocurrency. We should just get in and never too late until now and wait for us all to be a millionaire someday.
And even if bitcoin reached 1 trillion in market cap that will mean an amount of 60k per bitcoin and while that value is high I still think the price could go way higher than that so to me that person will no longer be an early investor but part of the early majority.

Dude, i uope you realize that you are only late when you start to think so. Do not let yourself discourage your own. Sure, they have greater advantage than us because we knew and never did anything back then, but that doesn't mean we are failures. It is just a matter of perseverance and mentality. Even a small fraction of what they have is what we may manage to get, it can be bigger in the future. And if that still isn't enough for you, then go and be more resourceful and persevere more to reach the thousands from hundreds that you may achive.

We are the same and i do not ket anything bring me down. Remember that you lose on the very first moment you give up. So don't make that mistake.

Don't be sorry. You can buy altcoins right now. Now is a good time to buy altcoins. Many coins broke through the downward trend line. If you want and believe in it - buy. Otherwise, next year you will be disappointed again)
