I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.
You're not late and you cant turn back the time. But you are here now, and we may never know what will happen next to bitcoin. Just keep on watching bitcoin and if you have the chance to invest and buy in low price, grab it and sell bitcoin if the price is really high.

You can start from where you are now and still take your share of the national cake of blockchain community.

I also think so because many of my friends who have enjoyed the results of this altcoin business but I just started, but it makes me more excited to start this business
There is a lot of money to be made but you need to be smart and avoid the scams that are so numerous in the world of crypto, if you do you can make money with altcoins and icos but you need to understand that even if you avoid scams you cold lose money anyway.

You can never be late to the crypto kingdom. You are welcome take your time to get use to necessary things to become successful don't just jump into it for you not to jump out. But for now go for coins that are cheap but with a lot of possibilities to grow. Bitcoin isn't a coin you can invest much on it ATM because its expensive.
Yes bitcoin has long been not a coin, just what will happen to him further, too, is not yet known))
And coins are the future of our planet and it needs to be developed. I think so

Not late. Look to sales of coins with good market size.
For me, the size of the market is very important.
What is the volume of the transactions in that market ? Because the altcoin will be used in those transactions.
This article from Chris Burniske explains this: https://medium.com/@cburniske/cryptoasset-valuations-ac83479ffca7

Having this my favourite altcoin is https://appcoins.io.
The potential market is the app stores market ($40B a year) and the traction of the Aptoide app store is huge. Compare them using Google Trends, adding Kin/Kik which ICO is over:

Usually that being late really trait of humanity. Its better late than nothing.like in bitcoin when late you bitcoin you maybe your last ever person who never taste of riches. As many people now who became rich because of the bitcoin.

I guess for the bigger coins we are all kinda late to make mass money. Even so thinking that the total money supply, excluding derivatives, is standing at around 90 trillion USD and the marketcap for crypto is like less than half a trillion. I would say there is still growth value to be had and maybe you can make something happen within the next two years. These next two years I thinbk are critical for us all to get ahead of the game somehow.

Obviously, in hindsight, it would have been best to enter 8 years ago with Bitcoin. But there's still so much potential (in terms of tech & price) for cryptocurrencies in general, so now is fine too.  Smiley

I also think so, everyone often ask "Am I late to buy Bitcoin" , "Am I late to the party?" ... i think they can easy to fin out answer in the Bitcoin Price Charts which show bitcoin is always increasing and you just choice right time to buy it you will get big profit. Today bitcoin is adjusting after go up $19k and i think this is the best time to buy it.

I feel as if this is the perfect buying opportunity to buy alts right now. About bitcoin i am not so sure, but even if someone is new to crypto and buying for the first time, so many alts are out there which are super cheap in fiat value.
