It is because it isn't legitimized now we see many countries introducing tax to it and setting regulations against it this would mean anyone who would hate bitcoin and cristise you, you don't have to worry because it will now be legit coin

I´m Bitcoin supporter and enthusiastic. But at the same time, i try always to keep an open mind, about the position of Bitcoin in the rest of the world.
A gigantic negative point of the Bitcoin blockchain technology is the amount of electricity used to validate one transaction. A recent study made by the Dutch bank ING, conclude that the electric power used in a transaction is enough to power up one house for a month period. A solution for this has to be found ASAP. For this kind of reasons, people can just "Hate" the technology
Really? I didn't know about it... But as this study was made by a bank there could be some doubts about its legitimacy and neutrality. It's interesting for banks to deceive public opinion about Bitcoin as they are the most harmed by this technology. They have enough reasons to hate Bitcoins and start such campaigns against it. We don't even know what is the electricity consume on each house. |

On my own belief, I think they are not so many. Some people actually are not against on bitcoin but they just don't know what bitcoin is. They think it is just a scam, some online job that is going to waste their time. But they are not really against on bitcoin, they have no idea, and is not interested that is why they don't invest on it and people like you saying they are against on bitcoin. Many people find this an opportunity for them to have a better life, So why would they be against on this? Maybe those who are in higher positions, like government of a large country or whatsoever. I think they are the one who are against bitcoin because once bitcoin conquer their field, a lot of money will be loose on them, because bitcoin will free us and take out government on our ground. And they are not really to many, so I believe you are wrong that many people are against on bitcoin. |

Some people who are against of bitcoin are those people who have a bad experience in bitcoin. For example they are scammed or their money did not grow, instead they lost a lot of money and many more thats why theyre against to bitcoin. I think the word against is proper to be used in this question. For i believe that people who until now did not accept bitcoin is not really against it but they just have reservation with regards to it since they dont know it fully well yet. And i bwlieve this is just only normal primarily because it involves money, but if this could be properly explained to them then there is a great possibility that they will soon invest too.

Actually most of the people are scare to invest money even we all of us also scare to invest money but when we get proper knowledge of anything then we can easily decide we have to invest or not. And I think may be they don't know about Bitcoin properly. Thats why they are against Bitcoin.

Most people do not study bitcoin, so they do not understand what it is. At the same time the mass media that most people are read say that bitcoin is unreliable. This is the reason that people are afraid.
I think they don't know how internet money works and more over they won't show towards reading and understand the technology behind the bitcoin. Many major companies are supporting Bitcoin and altcoins because technology is making them to convince. |

People are creatures of habit and tried and trusted methods. Bitcoin is a huge unknown to most. It will take years, decades for it to be widely accepted. So yes they're mainly scared of what they don't know and the press negative stories about hackers, dark web, volatility, etc which can really occur with any currency.

Crab pot mentality states that as a crab starts to escape a boiling pot it will be grabbed by the other crabs also trying to escape, meaning none of them do and they all die together.
Often people want something to fail because you would rise too high with it. These people are dangerous not just to bitcoin but anyone health and well being.

maybe because they dont know how to use bitcoin and they think that bitcoin is a scam because its online and most of the people on some countries are not just interested on whats happening online yet bitcoin so far is not been recognized mostly by ssome people so i guess if bitcoin has been advertise on tv, radio and newspapers they would be willing to try it and educate thier on selves. |

beacuse bitcoin will destroy the current centralized banking system that only the oligarchs wins. bitcoin is decentralized meaning the peoples money will not give a damn to the banks that incurred unncessary fees that ordinary people pays. |
