Why are so many people against bitcoin?

many of those "many people" you see are not against bitcoin. they are actually heavily invested in it but they pretend otherwise. someone who is spreading FUD in 99% of the times wants the price to drop so he can either short bitcoin or because he has some buy orders placed ahead of time at certain low prices.

i honestly can not think of anybody who does not benefit from bitcoin! even banks that some people say are against bitcoin or bitcoin is against them are happy about bitcoin. not only bitcoin introduced blockchain technology to them to improve their business but also it has opened up new ways for banks to make money. banks are in fact making a lot of money because of bitcoin, all these traders are using banks to handle their money transfers and there are lots of them

There is some people against bitcoin because they are doubt that if its legit or a scam or some people trust bitcoin in the beginning and suddenly they just scam some person or investing site so they dont trust now bitcoin. Many scenario happens in the bitcoin world that some people dont want it. So just support bitcoin to make it stronger and live it in more years.

Yes many people thought that bitcoin is not real, that bitcoin is scam. Maybe i think its because some users or traders of bitcoin uses it in some illegal matters. But then bitcoin are now popular as a good investment, so I didn't get why there's many people are against bitcoin. I didn't understand why they are still doubting that bitcoin is real and not a scam.

People are afraid of change, and things they don't understand

There are a variety of scam that most people thinks that bitcoin is one of it and that is most of the  reason they are against bitcoin. The literacy of using the internet also makes people play away from it because of the potential mistakes on how to make it work or wrongly selecting the right button esp. when it comes to investments

so , many people aren't against bitcoin, they are searching alternative that can be faster low cost and effective in confirmations. i don't see people against bitcoins

Agree sort of the fee right now is really high and it really takes time to received your bitcoin, i think those meaning that against in bitcoin is that the people who use it in illegal such us in deep web, like drugs  and any criminal doings. Well I think in past there were some crypto which were fraud and they take a lot of money from people and run away so that’s why people are scared from crypto but bitcoin is not like them bitcoin is totally safe and sound for investment and I’m investing here from last two years and it always give me my profit on time so bitcoin is best.

many people are against the coin because it serve as a threat to them. bankers, brokers, financial institutions, government all do not want the coin to be successful. government fear it will be impossible to tax the users. bankers and brokers see it as a threat to their work as people will not trade with fiat again. most importantly bitcoin might be a quick way to make good money if you invest it which some people become jealous of the success that come out of it. they hate us because they aint us.

Many people againts bitcoin because I think that they have no idea about bitcoin and they did not know what is the importance of bitcoin in every people. They against also in bitcoin because they think that it is a scam or it is not legit because the people nowadays is have their mindset that online jobs or anything is a scam.

People who are against bitcoin actually illiterate about bitcoin. They are always act that know everything but they don't. They even don't know it is real money.  Most of them who are against bitcoin actually have gotten wrong information and didn't judge . So let them see the world is on only digital currency in near future. Then they will just disappointed why they against it and also why didn't earn some bitcoin.Bitcoin is always real money.

Probably because they see no rules and regulation coming from bitcoin. Most people don't trust those innovations that don't have an permit or registration from any government regulatory bodies.

I think they are manipulating you in order to get your coins. They are smart people they want you to believe that bitcoin will not have a future so you will sell them.

If you do that you will lose your coins and they will get richer from it.

That's why before I'll invite my friends, relatives and other people in the field of crypto currency .. I advice to them to make some research about it like

• What is Bitcoin?
• When it is origin?
• How are the proper way to manage your money by using bitcoin
• Where to buy
• Why many people are willing to learn this field

This may help them to know a little before risking there money .. And I told them that not all the times your earn in bitcoin sometimes you lost money but dont give up , try and try until your goals reach

I think it is because having trust issues about internet,they think that bitcoin is illegitimate. Many people nowadays,specially in our country, have been scammed by the people in the internet. It might be because of the experiences they had for trusting people and suddenly turning them down taking all the valuables they have. in the end of XVIII century there were luddites movement - people who tried to destroy a mashinery during 1st technical worldwide revolution. Now we are on 4th revolution stage  (art.intelect, robotisation, blockchain, etc etc) and we have similar people. There were such people always, it is the root of humanity, common behavior - to be against everything what is new, innovative.  Also people afraid what they don`t know, can`t understand.
I am sure the real users of Bitcoin is and will people which are now 5 - 25 years old. And older people accept bitcoin, but what is over 40 then it`s difficult.

Not like what you think they buy it when the value is too high and when it dump they sell bitcoin cut losses. Because of this they against bitcoin.

I think they do not really understand bitcoin clearly. They did not realize that it was necessary for the future. And bitcoin is very practical in our daily life. Newspapers and television also have little information about bitcoin for people to understand
