I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
I do not think so, I guess they are not aware of what bitcoin is and how it works. It is hard to believe at first even I do not accept it as first and I thought this will be a waste of time. I think they are thinking that bitcoin is fake because the currency is just circulating only in online world, they can not touch it or something that they can spend it directly from their pockets. They also have no idea how you earn money from this. They have no clue how you will get paid and where do they get the money that they will pay to you. even I do not know how but I know that I can earn money through this.

A lot of people are afraid changes or something ununderstandable. Not all understand how bitcoin is created and live. Also, people don't believe in unmaterial things. It's hard

I do not know because the most people do not trust bitcoin that would be the perfect answer for this also bitcoin can easily be used for crimes and bad things because it is anonymous and no one knows who you sent something to.

If that people you've mentioned is could really know about bitcoin , I guess there no doubt to believe in bitcoin and start invest on it before it's not too late because nowadays bitcoin price is really dropped in $6000 below in just previous hours past, but now its started to rise again and again. I tell you one thing, there's no risky if you could only know what things that you've entered for, so search first and gathered information that's the right thing to do before make a step of what you have planned.

Here in our country i don't believe that there are many people against bitcoin, but i believe that there are many people who don't know about bitcoin and the impact of it to their daily lives. I think spreading the advantage of using bitcoin and right way to teach to those people is one way to convince them.

I think people against bitcoin is those who are in the business that affect by the transaction using bitcoin, or some maybe those who don't believe the idea of using bitcoin as their currency. Those people if they can see the advantage and the things that change their life from bitcoin will feel regret someday.

A webisite known as "Motley fool" recently published an article titled 4 Reasons I’ll Never Invest in Bitcoin. Its arguments are that: Its anonymity is its own worst enemy. If global governments discover that criminals or terrorists are using bitcoin to fund their activities — and at present there are very few checks and balances in place to weed out this sort of behavior — it could prompt a crackdown. If governments around the world instituted regulations that made it difficult to own bitcoin, we could see prices plunge.

because you need to have enough power to use it, to earn on it...and people tremble before the unknown or incomprehensible...and a part of people simply don't believe in its future and thinks that this is a temporary phenomenon...maybe it's so, but there is time to earn)

It's response to this was that... Yes, this is entirely possible. As I’ve talked about many times before, governments hate any form of currency that they can’t track, control, and tax. They hate cash and they hate cryptocurrencies even more. It’s entirely possible that some governments will make bitcoin illegal, though it’s just as likely that they’ll do what Japan did, and just surrender to it because so many people are using it. Regardless, let’s say your government made bitcoin illegal. So what? Marijuana is illegal in most countries. Does that mean people don’t use it? Does that mean the price of marijuana is low? Hell no! Indeed, many years ago, before marijuana became legal in my state, I strongly considered being a distributor. This was because I was seeing guys make as much as $4000 per day supplying this stuff. The fact that it was illegal drove the price up, not down. So, if bitcoin becomes illegal in your country (which is a big “if”), you’ll still be able to buy it, and it’s value might actually go up. I personally think that governments will eventually be forced to accept the concept of cryptocurrencies the same way the US government has had to accept both marijuana and guns; there’s just too many people owning and using these things for them to ever be made illegal in any practical way. Bitcoin (or some other crypto like Ethereum) will be the same.

Some people are against bitcoin because they do not understand the potential for bitcoin, or maybe some individuals want to release bad news to lower the price of bitcoin. At the moment, the bitcoin transfer is having problems, which in part disturbs investors' confidence in bitcoin.

Still many people here in my place thinks that bitcoin is scam and a fraud. They believe that decentralization in a monetary system won't work and that it is more safe to trust in traditional centralized financial system that mostly benefits government and top rich people.

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
I'm from a generation long before the internet existed (even before, *gasp* cable tv existed) and I have no problem with Bitcoin obviously. I love it's innovative nature, the fact that I can "trust" the blockchain and frankly that is more secure to me than the "full faith" of any government backed fiat. The problem I see, since I have friends / family that are from generations prior to mine is that they grew up with a fiat backed by hard assets, or the "gold standard". If this were still the case, I'd take a "gold standard" over Bitcoin and see little use for it other than a higher degree of anonymity and hobby interest. Many of these people that I mention are still under the impression, falsely, that fiats are backed by something other than "faith", my poor Mom was shocked because as intelligent and well-read as she is, she had no idea the US was off the gold standard and when discussing cryptocurrency with her, that was her main argument. She's simply ignorant, and I mean that in the true definition of it, she's certainly not dumb, about most financial systems and how they work. The more we have discussed it, the less trusting she is of the banks / Federal Reserve / money manipulators because as she becomes more aware it's obvious there is an issue with "faith" in a currency when that is all there is. But, the good news is, that she, and people like her, in my effort to explain Bitcoin and it's like to her, have made me educate myself more. Heck, one day, I might even understand Bitcoin.

People are scared because of the fact that the bitcoin is powerful and it is anonymous. The innovation also scared that is why they are staying behind. Trade marks and traditon are another factors why some people are afraid of the fact that bitcoin has a potential to change our view about the currency. Some people are afraid because they are just too ignorant to accept the bitcoin.

So far , all people that ive introduce to bitcoin doesnt have negative feedback and instead of being scared, they thabk me for giving them extra income. But this one is my analyzation, maybe they are afraid on what is bitcoin inside. They are afraid that once they invest money, it has a higher possibility that it is a scam because bitcoin is digital. High income has high risk.

Some people are afraid because they are just too ignorant to accept the bitcoin. Not all the people, and not so many. News spinning can make it look like that but actually minority of rich people are against bitcoin because bitcoin can ruin their businesses. Minority because some people from rich class with businesses based on fiat already made connection with bitcoin, and they are ready to accept new things, like always there will be traditional people who will never agree with something new that they don't understand, this people will rather lose everything they have then to advance with time. Let them, young people are into technology more and more, nothing can stop human progress.

People are against bitcoin because they have not noticed the potential for it. With very little bitcoin remaining, its value will continue to increase in the near future. Consider investing in bitcoin
