Why are so many people against bitcoin?

Many people against bitcoin because they only see the bad effects of bitcoin in internet because some of the news tells that bitcoin can use in scamming other people not knowing that bitcoin can change their life in so many ways.

Actually in past there were some other crypto in market and they run way from market and take a lot of money from investors so now people they are scared from any crypto but I must say about bitcoin that it’s not like other crypto its totally safe and sound and you can invest here as much as you can and can take your reward on time.

Because they do not understand bitcoin, they think bitcoin is unsafe and consider the risk of investing in bitcoin high and they do not study bitcoin. They do not understand bitcoin technology, so they do not like bitcoin. However, the bitcoin era will come.

Ignorance. People are against with Bitcoin because they lack with informations regarding how it works and how will it helps everyone especially those who want to have an other source of income. Maybe the best thing to do it to educate them and educate them to believe.

Most people don't study bitcoin, so they don't understand what it is. At the same time the mass media that most people are read say that bitcoin is unreliable. This is the reason that people are afraid.

People are afraid of it because they don`t know it, they don`t have an idea about it and when someone or something is different people are afraid about it. When they clue their disagreement they don`t give any facts that`s makes me feel relaxed.

So many people are against Bitcoin maybe because they are investing large amount of money in Altcoins,  they felt like some kind of FUD or they might be FUDster's. Some other people say they hate Bitcoin but is secretly pouring investments into it just to try to cheat I mean they just want to keep their Bitcoins in private without people knowing such actions for safety and security reasons. Some obvious reasons that I observed is that most people think Bitcoin as a scammy asset or investment. Here in my country or here in my locality Bitcoin has not been that popular and I might be the only one here in my area who still are actively using or trading  Bitcoin and interacting to the cryptocurrency community.

People are against bitcoin just because they do not know what bitcoin is) They do not know the history of bitcoin growth and its development. They do not know why bitcoin is growing and why this market is developing)

bitcoin is a source of income so i don't think so if many of people againts it, but some goverments maybe againts it beacause they not fully acepted the bitcoin.

Yes not mostly but some people are here who do not like the bitcoin and the majority of the those people are uneducated it is the digital currency and not everyone can understand it, it is the reason why the people who are not yet having the knowledge are against the bitcoin, I am sure in the future the people will hold the bitcoin and they will buy the bitcoin it is the main source of the income for them.

Let me tell you something!! No one hates money, bitcoin is money, the ones who hate bitcoin are banks and goverments. No because of the fact bitcoins are unidentified, just because they don't have it.

An example of this is one announcement of JP Morgan time ago that stated bitcoins were unreliable and used for criminals. The fact is they bought bitcoins after the announcement, the bank wanted 2 things, to scare people to sell bitcoins and to drop bitcoins price to have them cheaper.

There might be many a reasons for every individual person.
For existing users, It is based on their individual person experience and how they dealing with the bitcoin transactions where they may invest in some ponzi sites and may loss their money and they may turn against bitcoin.
For new users, there may be a fear of loosing money and even they may be even worried thinking about hackers doing something over internet.
I believe its all based on their understanding about the bitcoin, they need to make analysis about bitcoin, understand it.
There might be even bankers who are against bitcoin reason behind fiat helps bankers for making profits but not with our crypto bitcoin.
These might be the few reasons that people might be against bitcoin.

They are simply against bitcoin because they lack knowledge about it. And I dont think that there were lot of them, people who actually against it are those who were left behind or those who just knew about it. If someone is not into bitcoin he will not loss anything, but anyone who is into bitcoin he gain everything. There is no reason to be against with bitcoin, the only reason would be personal interest or a group interest that might possibly bitcoin becomes a threat to them.

You must be a shill of the fiat system because privately I have never heard that many people are against crypto currencies. Where is the proof of your claim? It is common knowledge that most people have enough from high taxes and fees enforced by governments and are looking for alternatives!

Same with what I experienced. Perhaps only the government is cautious enough when it comes to regulating the bitcoin regulations, but I'm sure the people in the government personally keep using bitcoin. They actually believe and invest in bitcoin. It's just that institutionally it is not possible, there must be a very complex study so that everything can run smoothly and not harm some parties, including citizens of a country that will be affected when bitcoin prices decreased.
