Why are so many people against bitcoin?

Because people thought that bitcoin is scam but it is not, mostly the Government is the one who hates it for example is china , they have banned ICO crowd funding with their own personal reason. The other reason is they been scammed for so many times that is why it change their perspective on bitcoin.

Still there are some people against bitcoin. I mean they can't trust it. They think that it is spam or else. But it's not.  They don't know bitcoins benefit. I think they r foolish.

Really many are against bitcoin? Because to the people where I introduce bitcoin none of them is against it infact after they have learn the benefit I gain from bitcoin and doing signature campaigns all of them ask me to teach them because they all want to earn bitcoin. As far as I know only the government of some countries are against to bitcoin

You are lucky man if you didn't see any negativity against bitcoin.
Some of my friends are very skeptical about bitcoin and don't want to try it.
Honestly, some people are even afraid to use Internet banking or to buy something on Internet with credit card.
People are different and we can't expect that everybody will like bitcoin because of many different reasons.

They are skeptic of bitcoins. There goes the saying that if it's too good to be true, it would be a scam. I cannot blame them. They are not that kind of people who accepts the risks and wait for a long time. They are the kind of people who work from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. When you invest in bitcoins, you need patience and timing. That is what they don't fully understand.

i agree. People are afraid of what they dont  understand. In addition to that, media coverage of bitcoin is quite on the negative side. Plus the comments made by the banking leaders, people who do not understand will really be against it.

A lot of people are against bitcoin especially banks and the government. They hate the fact that bitcoin is decentralized and it can't be controlled or be taken over. They are fearing the growth of it especially banks because it can defeat some of the purposes of banks like money storage.

Trust issues is important thing but I believe most of the trust issues is only due to bankers, governmental offices clerks and other people with (not so) hidden interests.

People are against bitcoin first is because they thought it was not real or maybe its just a scam. Especially for those people who are lack of knowledge about it. Next is the government and bank are also against it because they afraid fhat they cant controlled it and also because of its price is not stable like the foat currency. Also because of the negative issues that are spreading in the social media that makes people lost there trust on it.

These kind of people are ignorant so as much as possible, don't talk to them unless needed. They are close minded so you don't have to explain anything to them. My advise is to let them say what they want. Let them talk more about bitcoins. Just keep quiet and enjoy the unstoppable success of your investment in bitcoins.

many of those "many people" you see are not against bitcoin. they are actually heavily invested in it but they pretend otherwise. someone who is spreading FUD in 99% of the times wants the price to drop so he can either short bitcoin or because he has some buy orders placed ahead of time at certain low prices.

i honestly can not think of anybody who does not benefit from bitcoin! even banks that some people say are against bitcoin or bitcoin is against them are happy about bitcoin. not only bitcoin introduced blockchain technology to them to improve their business but also it has opened up new ways for banks to make money. banks are in fact making a lot of money because of bitcoin, all these traders are using banks to handle their money transfers and there are lots of them

That doesn't really make sense. Bitcoin is insanely divisible by nature, from where people could buy even $50 worth of Bitcoin without any problems. More likely is the fact that the market has gone up so much in recent times, that people get discouraged to invest in Bitcoin because they think it's too late. Funny thing is that people were thinking like that when the price reached the $1000 level, the $2000, etc. If people for that reason look down on Bitcoin, or don't think it has any purpose or potential, then they are nothing more than a bunch of idiots.

Well we both know that some people or set of group will hate bitcoin because bitcoin have it way of helping the rich and common people. Another reason why those people are against bitcoin is because bitcoin is decentralized and they want it to be centralize so they can have their cut.

Well first, maybe because they have been scammed by a lot of people already that are affliated in bitcoin too. It is definitely not innovations that scares them. Investing on a very unstable thing is scary, I mean look at its volatile price.
It is not that the money will go on the wrong hands, not unless you are investing it into a scam. The good thing in bitcoin is you have all your money with you and not with any banks, authority or anyone else.

Mainly the government is against it as they are shaken by BITCOIN's growth and its rule. Cryptocurrency has shown his growth massively in the currently  market. This is the reason the govt doesn't allow / accept it.

There really can be various reasons why someone would really hate bitcoins or all the of the other crypto currencies out there. One can be because ignorance. They may hate it because they have little to no knowledge abiut it and to lazy or afraid to try something they have never encountered before in their lives. Another reason maybe jealousy. They maybe jealous to the early adapters that is why they say awful things about bitcoins because they think they are already late and they want to drag as many people as they can down with them because they can't get a hold of it or too afraid or too lazy to try getting into the cryoto world.
Some may also just wanna troll, while others may just wanna spread worries to get weak hearyed people sell their crypto possessions so they can buy cheaper bitcoins.
Lastly, maybe they think it is illegal and don't wanna be a part of it in any way because of all the false news from people who don't even know what they are talking about.

Those are the only reasons i can think of.
