Why are so many people against bitcoin?

I think some people are ag against bitcoin because they are so many instances that happened to them when they use bitcoin. Maybe before they are scammed of fool by someone using bitcoin and that make them wrong belief in bitcoin that not all are scam and they are so many site that gives opportunity and financial in using bitcoin.

i don't think people are necessarily against BTC, most just don't know much about it and the benefits it has, the few interest groups like the governments and regulating institutions have taken advantage of this to make smear campaigns against BTC,thus eliciting negative reactions

Studies suggest that unpredicted pain disrupts more than correctly predicted pain. In other words, we fear an unknown outcome more than we do a known bad one. Most people who are against bitcoin are concerned not because it is a bad thing but simply because they do not understand it. They perceive it to be, in some way, unsafe. A simple solution is not hyping the currency, but making people understand how it works in a simple way so they feel safer while making investments.

They do not understand bitcoin, there are a large number of people who still think that bitcoin is a scam while others think that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme which would take all of their money and leave them with nothing.

I don’t think it’s against bitcoin. They don’t know about bitcoin. They think that bitcoin is virtual and they don’t trust. Bitcoin makes them feel uneasy. They don’t take the time to understand Bitcoin. Bitcoin is an excellent opportunity to make money. For me people should like this.

Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.

So many people are against bitcoin because a lot of people are not educated enough about this cryptocurrency. A lot has been thinking that bitcoin is just a fad,or even like a bubble. A lot of people are scared of investing in cryptocurrencies.

Because they are afraid of Bitcoin, Bitcoin has robbed them of money from certain aspects. They do not understand Bitcoin. They tainted Bitcoin and promoted Bitcoin in various news is a Ponzi scheme. This is ridiculous!

bacause they are not interested in bitcoin thats why they are against on it. they aways thinking that btc is a scam and they dont even try it because they afraid of losing thier money.

I think is primarly because they have never used bitcoin before and dont understand how much is different from the current tech!

after all I was one of those un-believers when I started! I had poor knowledge and took me some time to really learn and now love bitcoins and crypto!

so we need to help and educate those people that simply hate or are against bitcoin, it will take some time but the value is so much!

Short answer: Ignorance

Ignorance comes from fear.  What do people fear about Bitcoin?  They fear Bitcoin because it is uncommon to them.  They will overcome their ignorance and fear concurrently by learning about Bitcoin.This is very simple and easy task.

People against bitcoin because they dont have any knowledge about it.There mind are negative.Or the details they have gathered are false.They also afraid in bitcoin because they thought that,this is a scam but yet it is not.

There's so many people are still against of bitcoins simply because they feel like their money isn't secured. They don't have that much knowledge about cryptocurrency as we do. In order to lessen those 'many people', we must share our knowledge to them and let them know that bitcoins can give us a good income.

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

On my opinion, they're againts to bitcoin, because of it is a popular currency and can easily access by the people all over the world, with this, people are afraid from being use the bitcoin in a crimes also in terorism, like what happrned from other country and it is tge reason why they banned bitcoin.

I think the people that are against bitcoin really do not know about bitcoin, because they think bitcoin is purely a scam and cannot be trusted, why? because of some people that use bitcoin to scam others, they ride in the popularity of bitcoin to pool other people.

Majority of the people that doesn't have knowledge on crypto currencies and other digital assets thinks that this stuff are pure scam just like the pyramiding schemes, ponzi schemes and other forms of investment scams that are spreading all over the world. The main reason why this people are against Bitcoin and other forms of crypto currency is ignorance about this technology and even if you explain it to them they will still not believe in you and believe only on what they think it is.

Because they don't fully understand how it works and its potential. Some especially the government kick against it because they have seen how difficult it is to control it and anything government can't control that kick against it. Some people need to be educated for them to fully understand bitcoin before they accept it. I believe with time people will get to accept bitcoin and stop being against bitcoin.

people are against bitcoin because they don't fully understand its working principles and are not aware of its great potential while for government, they are against it because they fully understand the potentials bitcoin has and its power to overcome fiat currency usage and since they dont have control over it, they fight it to prevent citizens from using it.

I think, because they don't understand it and don't know how it works. They lack information about its potential. Maybe they are lazy to learn or they were burnt out with their past investments.
