It is apples and oranges, we are not a rival to BTC but we did fork from BTC chain. - They use SHA-256 algorithm for ASIC only - We use Equihash algorithm for GPU only This means we do not compete for miners and also we will keep difficulty good for only GPU miners. It is better for decentralized mining because how affordable video cards are, that was Jack's vision from the beginning and for all of BTG team, we continue to develop according to our roadmap. https://forum.bitcoingold.org/t/bitcoin-gold-roadmap-2018/208 Jan 15 2018 Mainnet stable since Nov '17 full replay protection since launch, full segwit support, LN integration in development now Soon we will fork to invalidate all Equihash ASICs: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4502500Check us out sometime!

Wide adoption is the big difference which make BTC superior than any other clone coins. If we follow the adoption rate than it is increasing and BTC has craze in new investors who missed to buy this coin when it was cheaper and this happening because of bigger community and big companies are showing their interest to show their support for this revolution while there is no improvement for BTG.

Our average block find time is the same as BCH and BTC: 10 minute average, https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/confirmationtime-btc-bch-btg.html#log&3mOur difficulty adjustment algorithm will improve the consistency of our block times which is even better, however according to the numbers our transactions take about the same amount of time and our transaction fees are the cheapest https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactionfees-btc-bch-btg.html#log&3mHope this clears up the misunderstanding!

If that were true we would have sold at December ATH $400, we are 7 months too late for a scam. Also, most of the endowment is in timelocked multisig wallets: https://btcgpu.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/BitcoinGold-Roadmap.pdf (October '17 page 10/12) so it is impossible for us to 'safe exit' anyway. Ignore all the trolls, we have been through quite a bit in our small existence and we will continue! We are the same team since launch and only gotten bigger over time, still the same determination, ambition, talent and dedication as before, and our community has organically grown and just as dedicated.

Basically Bitcoin Cash is the only bitcoin fork that activately has good hashrate and maintains a good price. Most of the other forks have all failed. People said that when some of these bitcoin forks hit a decent exchange like Bitfinex, they would go up in value and its not true since Bitfinex added Bitcoin Interest and that coins value is also very low. It was all a fad that died off. Due to laziness I didn't take action and sell during the days where BTG was $400. Right now at $25 a coin you might as well hold and hope it hit $100 again someday.

As far as I know if the delay means the transaction is very full and may also be miner of BTG the number is reduced, so everything seems slow.

thanks, i found what i needed - most pools have already published the port numbers which will be active at fork, so just a matter for setting miners a few blocks prior to switch

The reward is very low after the fork...
With SuprNova pool, why is there some time 15,284 workers and some other times 1,100 workers (15 times less) ? The real number is 1,100 workers (15,284 is the number before the fork and it is still appear some times).
