Huge buys now on Cryptsy - all above 10000, and none are mine.  Someone else is buying large blocks here and he's keeping very quiet.

I've seen this for the entire 3 months I've been accumulating and I just assumed it was the dev but now I really doubt that.  I think someone bought a few million ixCoins.  Makes me look Mickey Mouse by comparison. Lol.

And on the sell side, there's nothing except a few thousand coins being offered.  There was a 47,000 block earlier today but I took that out and then the price spiked 70%.

Man, I feel like I can drive this coin up 400% with very little money and effort. I'd like to get another 50,000 coins at a decent price and then I think I wanna test out a theory to see what happens.

How much do you have now?

400,000.  I want 2% so I'm almost done but with the way the price spike i may not buy anymore.

And I wasn't buying large blocks.  I would have orders out there for days at multiple prices and nothing would go through. So of course if I see a block of 50,000 coins I'm gonna grab it.

I had to buy them all so 35 BTC...roughly.

350-400k ixcoin traded in 24 hours, difficulty above 33M. Is there anyone still believing that ixcoin is gonna die very soon?

I wonder if 400K is is normal.  I'm just surprised that a coin nobody wants and with 16-17 million coins out and heavily mined can go up so much so fast on such low buying.  Compare it to other coins with even less coins out and that just doesn't happen.

I just bought and transferred 4.7 BTC, so I'm gonna test out my theory in half hour when the BTC clears.

Lets see what ixCoin can do.

Ok, BTC cleared.  Let's see what happens when I buy up all the asks all the way up to 49800. That's a 400% increase from the last price.

Here we go!

Edit:

Ran out of money before 49800 but bought up everything through 40000.

Now let's see what happens.

Edit:

Correction, 49800 went through.  That was the last buy. We're up 400% today.   Hahahahaha.

No more sellers to fill my remaining order at 49800.

Is anybody seeing this?  Where are the sellers?

This was my theory - that I can drive up the price 400% with under 5 BTC and there would still not be enough sellers.

1) This coin is under heavy accumulation by someone and 2) there are virtually no sellers except the occasional merge miner who's not paying attention.

So imagine if a few of us pumped 5 BTC into ixCoin at the same time.

So it took 5 minutes to fill the 49800 order.  That makes no sense for a coin novody wants with 16 million coins out and with tons of miners who don't care about the coin.

You pushed the coin up to 5 usd cent. I don't how to view it: good or bad? Maybe it is going to draw even more attention to ixcoin, but reducing the chances to buy it for a good price. Let's see what you have done in the next days.

I got my 2% now so it doesn't matter to me.  And everyone else has had over 3 months to buy and I have done my best to tell people about ixCoin while being called a pumper and an idiot so time is up as far as I'm concerned.

I had to know what would happen cause ixCoin just didn't look like it was trading like any other coin I've ever bought.

On vircurex the volume for ixCoin is 21 BTC.  That's the third biggest out of all the coins with LTC being first and PPcoin being second.

For most of the last 3 months that has been the case.  Once again, pretty odd for a coin that is supposedly dead, with zero interest and with nearly no sellers.  The latter baffles me the most as there are a lot of ixCoin miners who should be selling dumping ixCoin since its a free merge mined coin and usually with these cheap coins where there is no interest, miners dump them for whatever they can get and focus on coins they believe in like Bitcoin, Litecoin, PPCoin, etc.

Hot diggity.
Ixcoin has grown 88% according to coinmarket cap.  Shocked
Maybe you're on to something Vlad2Vlad.
But even if I had 30 BTC I wouldn't have strong enough nerves to risk that much into alts.
Also I don't believe too much in marketing gimmicks when it comes to alts.
But... ixcoin is just so incredibly boring.
I mean its a grey coin with a name that doesn't particularly mean anything.
It looks like an accountant came up with it or something.

I totally agree, from the outside ixCoin is a turd in the rain with no chance if ever standing out or making it.  It wasn't until I looked much closer that I saw potential and even that is very risky.

After today's stunt I'm now 40 BTC deep in this mofo so I hope my feeling is correct cause $5,000 in one single long shot alt coin is pretty nuts.

I hope to get an ASICS miner in the next few months to try and earn some of those Bitcoins back.

For now let's see how ixCoin react to today's pop over the next few days.  If it stays up it may grab the attention of a few high rollers which may take this thing to another level.

Now showing up 94%.  Gotta love it when you can pop a coin this hard with sub 5 BTC.

It still makes no sense given the dynamics of this coin.  Try doing this with DGC or any other coin with less than half the coins outstanding and not many more miners if not less than ixCoin.

If this pop sticks I need 5 guys who wanna pitch in 5 BTC each and we can see what happens with 25 BTC.

And we'll split the average price out of all the coins that are bought so it's fair.

Is this manipulation?  Of course it is, but at least it's out in the open, unlike the Wallstreet thugs.  Ha!

LTC, DVC and NMC are falling while IXC is growing: You are making a mess out there. Grin Grin Grin Shocked Grin Grin Grin

Well, that was the trend out there anyway, as Bitcoin kept rising.   I've been saying there's a strange correlation between ixCoin and Bitcoin which I did not see in any other coin.

Someone is mimicking my 777 order signature.  Not sure why but it's pretty funny.  I hope to buy another 5-8 BTC tomorrow so I may hit'em up like Tupac Shakur.  Lol
