And I doubt anyone has more than 1%, even pools, as ixCoin was seen as such a plague - I think every large holder dumped iXcoin on any price spike since it always looked like it was gonna die any second.  That's a good thing and it explains why there are never any huge sellers - as there are no real large holders.  This coin is perfectly set up to skyrocket if demand ever spikes.  Another thing the so called Wall Street bankers should see in this coin, which no other coin has, as most/all other alts were accumulated heavily by just a few people early on.

Cause even though ixCoin was cheap, nobody except Vlad and maybe one or two other random secretive guys accumulated any meaningful amount and that was because iXcoin always looked dead last and a coin ready to die and be forgotten.  So I can't imagine anyone have the conviction to buy and hold more than 1% when there were always coins with a much better appearance.  Vlad had a crazy conviction about this coin but it was in isolated event I think so besides him I really doubt anyone has a really large amount of coins - including the wannabe dev, Thomas the Crook.

I know a lot about every alt-coin, iXcoin has always been a gigantic mystery to me. After reading several pages on this thread..
I'm sold about iX, more then Nxt, which was my favorite alt-coin.

Dear Ixians,

I think it's time to open up to the world. This coin now lack nothing important but advertising. We have really to think how to make it known to the world. Youtube is a good start. But we need more. I think we need to create a frame.

Just taking example from other coins, we need:

- videos: a great quantity
- open up topics in forums
- develop apps for android / iphone
- new wallet 0.8.6 on Windows
- a even more outstanding website, with a news section updated at least twice a week and more languages
- more bounties and giveways
- more people ready to give their time or/and donations
- a website where we can start trading items using ixcoins
- constant presence on websites like ebay
- a new coin logo made with maya/photoshop or a similar program

In other words, Ixcoin needs:
- programmers helping FrictionlessCoin in creating new features and tools
- people updating and keeping fresh the website content
- a group of people taking care of a online ixcoin market
- translators
- benefactors offering donations in ixcoins
- designers for a new logo and ideas
- maya/photoshop experts
- video makers
- ios / android programmers
- people spending their precious time in contributing to this forum and the one in ixc.boards.net
- people inviting other friends to know ixcoin on facebook, twitter, etc.
- new investors
- new pools
- new exchanges
- promoters of ixcoin on ebay
- people giving their own good ideas on how to accelerate the growth of the coin


I do not consider all the points written above as a wise pattern to follow, but a must if we wanna have a even more successful coin.

I agree on a new Windows client / wallet, along with many other actions to take

I just looked up the definition of IXC and it actually has one:

IntereXchange carrier.

I have no idea what that is but it sounds similar to what Frixtion was talking about. 

So maybe Thomas had some plan to make iXcoin an international exchange for all coins.  I think this is what Frixtion has been eluding to.

I got 50,000 ZTC (ZenithCoin) that I can distribute for all kinds of bounty for IXC.

You guys can have any article you want.  I wrote roughly 300 pages in like 14 days on devtome.  I was up entire nights writing like crazy cause I knew it would only last 1 round.

The bounty I promised you, if you look back at my posts, was on behalf of a collective from the community.  Before I left I told them to pay you directly and I now have to PM them to see if they followed through.

I know Tazman has, and I think he already gave you the 10,000 he committed to me when I was soliciting support.

I will see what's left of that original 15,000 bounty and get back to you.

I do have a lot of ixCoins but I have such angst against giving it as bounties due to the lying dev and the fact that I had to go through a lot to get my coins.  

Man, I sold my truck for crying out-loud so it's hard for me now to pay the bounties of some idiot dev.  I have done a lot for this coin.  I have brought in dozens of new long term investors.  I drummed up support for 6 months.  I single handedly supported the price to the tune of 65 bitcoins for 6 whole months and I gave away thousands of iXcoins to strangers to encourage them to invest in ixCoin, to show them I wasn't a pumper.

I'll see what I can do cause I appreciate what yours doing and I love the direction you're going with this but don't expect me to pay out a lot of actual coins.  If I'm right about it going to $10 soon, very soon, then I will help development a lot dollar-wise (I will even pay the $1 million fee for an ETF license if needed) but I'm very careful and conservative at the moment with these coins.

Let me make one thing clear,  the dev. bounty money goes to a lot of stuff you folks who sit nice and comfy in the back seat are not aware of.  These include:

(1) Paying for servers to host the website.
(2) Paying translators.
(3) Paying for hosting of seed nodes.
(4) Paying other devs like maxpower and rsnel for their work.
(5) Paying for press release.

These are not one time payments, but are recurring expenses.

So if you made like $80,000 and can't spare 15,000 IXC (i.e. less than $2,000),  then I call B.S.!

I see your point but have to disagree.  The only thing I asked for was a secure wallet.  Friction came out of nowhere and appeared to have his own agenda, and I think we're all very fortunate for this fact.

But no code update, and addition to various exchanges and no actions, are going to take this coin to $10.

The only thing that will is the realization that this coin is what I've been preaching is and if I'm right it will happen and it will happen just as I said, in the next couple months.  If I'm wrong then it will probably never happen and we'll be lucky to ever see $1 and that will only be on some lame hype pump and dump.

So I see no point in giving away a bunch of my hard earned coins when it will make little to no difference.  If I am right then I will pay all those who help develop this coin - but it will happen if it goes up and I will do it cause it's only fair, not cause I owe it.

Cause nobody was paying me to take the risk and to spend countless hours promoting this coins and giving out thousands of iXcoins.  This is open source and we all pitch in and do what's in our self interest.  I did all that cause I believed in ixCoin and cause I had a lot to gain if I was right.

Everyone here, including friction has an agenda and something go gain so everyone must put in their best effort.

And if this does go to $10, then that's a different story cause, dollar-wise, I would have no excise to not pay for development. Look,  you pomised a bounty of 15,000  IXC... I do expect you to pay up.   If its going to cause you pain to do so,  then that's just part of the cost of doing business.  If you are looking for an agenda,  then it is simple,  I want to get paid the IXC bounty.

You have the same idiotic attitude as the original developer.   IXC got listed on BTC-E back in 2012,  guess what the original dev do?   He did nothing,  he did not even announce that fact.


Now what we now have?  Maybe you need a big reality check because IXC does not have a lot of liquidity.   All the major coins like BTC, LTC, NMC, PPC all have decent liquidity.  You as an economist should know the value of that liquidity.

Yes, very disappointing isn't it?  

Someone who owns 600,000 IXC does not want to spare 15,000 IXC to further develop the coin.

My expectation was we would see some kind of leadership from one of the most vocal proponents of the coin.
